考点一 不定式中的省略 1.单独使用不定式符号to代替不定式后被省略的动词,常用在be afraid,expect,forget,hope,intend,like,love,mean,prefer,refuse,try,want, wish等词后;或放在表情绪的词后,代替被省略的动词,常见词有 glad,happy,pleased等;但是,如果不定式中含有be,have,have been,则 不应省略。

专题七非谓语动词一、句子成分组成句子的各个部分叫句子成分。
英语中句子成分有主语,谓语,表语,宾语,宾语补足语,定语,状语等。
在句子中的顺序一般是主语,谓语,宾语,宾语补足语,而表语,定语,状语的位置要根据情况而定。
1.主语主语是句子主要说明的人或事物,一般由名词,代词,数词,不定式等充当。
Tom is good at playing football.汤姆擅长踢足球。
2.谓语谓语主要说明主语的动作,状态或特征。
由动词(或短语动词)构成,可以有不同的时态,语态和语气。
We are studying English now.我们现在正在学英语。
3.表语表语是谓语的一部分,它位于系动词be之后,说明主语的身份,特征,属性或状态。
一般由名词,代词,形容词,副词,不定式,介词短语等充当。
We are Chinese.我们是中国人。
4.宾语宾语表示动作或行为的对象,跟在及物动词之后。
能作宾语的有:名词,代词,数词,动词不定式等。
另外,有些及物动词可以带两个宾语,往往一个指人,一个指物,指人的叫间接宾语,指物的叫直接宾语。
He gave me a book.他给我一本书。
有些及物动词的宾语后面还需要有一个补足语,意思才完整,宾语和它的补足语构成复合宾语。
We elected him monitor.我们选他做班长。
5.定语在句中修饰名词或代词的成分叫定语。
用作定语的主要是形容词,代词,数词,名词,副词,动词不定式,介词短语等。
形容词,代词,数词,名词等作定语时,通常放在被修饰词的前面。
He is a new student.他是个新生。
但副词,动词不定式,介词短语等作定语时,则通常放在被修饰词之后。
The bike in the room is mine.房间里的自行车是我的。
6.状语修饰动词,形容词,副词以及全句的句子成分,叫做状语。
用作状语的通常是副词,介词短语,不定式和从句等。
状语一般放在被修饰的词之后或放在句尾。

(4)“not. . . until. . . ”句型的强调结构为“It is/was not until. . . that. . . ”。 *It was not until 11 o’clock last night that he went to bed. (5)强调句型的一般疑问句形式: Is/Was it+被强调部分 +that/who+其他成分。 *Was it in 1939 that World War Ⅱ broke out?
(6)强调句的特殊疑问句句型为: 疑问词+is/was+it +that/who. . . ? *Where was it that you met Jack yesterday?
2. 谓语动词的强调 (1)do/does/did+动词原形。 *Do come here this evening. (2)“never+助动词do”也常用来表示强调, 一般意为 “从来没有, 绝不”。

四、祈使句 1. 否定式: 在动词前面加don’t。 2. 强调式: 肯定句在其前加do, 否定句在其前加never。 3. 带有主语的祈使句: 为了加强语气或特别指明向谁提 出命令或要求、吩咐几个人分头做几件事时须加主语 “you”, 有时还可同时加称呼语。

Step 3:代入验证。
需考虑语法结构正确且语义符合逻辑,语法结合语义才能确保万无一失。
1全部倒装(1)表示方式或方位的副词或介词短语,如here, there, now, then, up, down, in, away, off, out, on the wall, under the tree等置于句首,且主语是名词时。
①John opened the door.There stood a girl he had never seen before.约翰打开门,那儿站着一位他从来没见过的女孩。
②Just in front of the bus lies an injured man, all covered with blood.公共汽车的前面躺着一个受伤的人,浑身是血。
(2)代词such放在句首,且在句中作表语时。
Such are the facts; no one can deny them.这些就是事实;没有人可以否认。
(3)为平衡句子结构或使上下文衔接紧密,常将作表语的形容词、副词、分词或介词短语提到句首,引起全部倒装。
①Seated in the first line are some advanced workers.坐在第一排的是一些资深工人。
②Present at the meeting were some scientists from China.许多来自中国的科学家出席了会议。
注意:上述情况中,若主语是人称代词,则不用倒装。
③Away they went.他们走了。
[典例1][2015·浙江省重点中学适应性测试二]In front of the farmhouse ________ (lie) a peasant boy.[解析]lay考查倒装。
该句结构可以看出,表方位的介词短语放在句首,故应用全部倒装,lie的过去式是lay。
