The process and result of how these winners strived have became the frame of reference of social culture values and the real life text book for parents to educate their children.
6.Money orientation（金钱至上） The acquisition of money is very important to the American people, because it’s the clearest proof of success-----though there are other acceptable proofs.
When you show your success, there is no better way than making other people know your ability of enjoy the material goods.
7.Take an active part in charity In 2008, Americans donated 314.07billion dollars. In 2009, the total is 303.375 billon dollars, account for 2.1% of the GDP. 50% of the people who over 13 do free-service 4h every week. 75% of American people donated money to the charity society.
Equality Americans believe that all people are created equal and that all should have an equal opportunity to succeed. Parents and children are friends. Americans hate to treat the person who has a higher social state with great respect.
Individual competition America is a country that the weak are the prey of the strong（弱肉强食）. In order to change their social class and make their lifetime dream come true, they have to compete with others, and competition has already became one popular attitude in the society.
To praise heroes Americans citizens emphasize on achievements and respect heroes. They believe that one’s personal value is equivalent to his achievement in his career.

American values has a closely connection with the construction of America. Most of the people are immigrants, no matter where are you come from, only with persistent struggle, can you survive on the continent.
2. Strong sense of time Time is of utmost importance to most Americans. Their lives seem controlled by the little machines they wear on their next appointment on time. So, in the US, “make an appointment（预 约）” and “arrival on time（准时到达）” are very important.
In Americans’ opinion, other people have no right to ask their privates. However, the US always think their rights “is weightier than Mount Tai（重于泰 山）”, and foreigners’ dignity “is lighter than a goose feather（轻于鸿毛）”.
All in all, the values Americans live by give the society more competition and vigour （活力）, and it also attracts millions of outstanding talent from every corner of the world to come to America to realize their “American dream”.
Such a “no-nonsence （绝不胡闹）” attitude toward life has created a class of people known as “workaholics（工作 狂）”.
5.Practical Will it make money? What can I gain from it? These are the kinds of questions Americans are likely to ask, rather than: Will it be enjoyable? Will it enrich my knowledge?

1.Individualism(个人主义) I am the Saviour（救世主） Americans think that they are the master of nature, they can control the environment around them. When they get into trouble, the first thought come into their mind is that they can conquer it without other’s help.
Directness(直接) and openness（坦率） Americans are likely to be completely honest in delivering their negative evaluations. If you did something wrong, they’ll tell you directly, not like people in other countries to express their opinions in a polite way.
So management and economics are much more popular in the United States that philosophy（哲学） or anthropology（人类学）, and law and medicine more valued than the arts.
Personal thinking People were nurtured to learn autocriticism(自我反省)、self-management、 self-affirmation(自我肯定)，not follow the herd, especially do as other’s instruction. So, Americans good at thinking, not trust other people easily, especially the government.
As for the other aspects of shooting deaths, more than one million one year, about 80 people died every day.
Individualism stimulate everyone’s wisdom and potential, promote the development of the country. However, everybody take me as a center, the interpersonal relationship with difficulty harmonious, the entire society also will lack the cohesive force（凝聚力）.
