Nowadays,With the development of society,Many people believe that it is of a waste of money to maintain public libraries because computer technology has already replaced its function.In my point of view,although it is true that we can search some information by the web articles,the public library is still an important part of modern people’s life. Computers can’t replace libraries.The reasons are mainly as follows:

First of all,There are still some important functions of libraries,which computers cant’t do it.In fact,Not only can we r ead or borrow books in the public libraries,but also we can do lots of other meaningful things.Such as reading newspapers and magazines,joining a book club,finding people with come interests and so on.For some people,especially some middle students,they are being in a great learning age period of time.So it is necessary for them to study in the library.In addition,we know that there are still some population who cannot afford a computer,and even they don’t know what is the

computers.Even,some people don’t u se computer to serve their needs,although they can afford to own a compute.For them,staying at the library alone at one afternoon is an effective way to study and think some things.And some people may just come to the public library for a cool place in a summer so that they can have themselves relaxed quickly.

To sum up,libraries are indispensable in our daily life.In the online global community,we can just find a sedate place to study knowledge,think some things,enjoy a meaningful social life with rewarding experience,so the computers can’t replace the libraries.
