BASIC FACTS基本概况

兰州新区是第五个国家级新区，位于兰州市中心城区北部，地处兰州、西宁、银川三个省会城市共生带的中间位置，距兰州市38.5公里，距西宁198公里，距银川420公里，规划面积约821平方公里，南北长约49公里，东西宽约23公里。

Lanzhou New Area is the 5th national new area, situated in the north of Lanzhou City and lay the converging center of three provincial capitals ---- Lanzhou, Xining and Yinchuan, with 38.5 kilometers from Lanzhou, 198 kilometers from Xining, and 420 kilometers from Yinchuan. The planning area is 821 square kilometers, with the span distance 49 kilometers from north to south and 23 kilometers from west to east.

STRATEGIC PLANNING战略定位

《国务院关于同意设立兰州新区的批复》、《国家发展改革委关于印发兰州新区建设指导意见的通知》确定兰州新区的战略定位为我国西北地区重要的经济增长极、国家重要的产业基地、向西开放的重要战略平台和承接产业转移示范区，发挥沟通内地、联通西部边疆和中亚地区的战略通道作用，带动甘肃及周边地区发展，深入推进西部大开发，促进我国向西开放。

According to The Approval Reply of Establishment of The Lanzhou New Area by State Council and The Guid elines on Devel opment of Lanzhou New Area by National Development and Reform Commission, the Lanzhou New Area is confirmed to be the major northwest growth pol e and the key national industry basement. As a significant strategic platform and the industrial transfer d emonstration area, the Lanzhou New Area shall be well placed to link up inland cities and provid e the new channels to connect the bord er area and the Central Asian region. Depending on the ad ditional rol e, Gansu province will promote the neighboring area into the rapid expansion and further advance western region into speedy d evelopment.

THE VISION FOR DEVELOPMENT远景目标

产业强城/生态绿城/多湖水城/现代新城

Lanzhou New Area shall be d eveloped into a city with strong industries, green environment, multipl e lakes and mod ernization characters.

到2015年，新区框架、产业体系及相关配套服务体系初步形成，交通及城区基础设施相对完善，具备较强的集聚效应和要素资源的吸纳能力，兰州新区的辐射带动作用明显增强；人口达到30万人，城市建设用地面积约60平方公里，GDP 达到500亿元左右。

By 2015, with further forming the urban framework, industrial system and related supporting service system as important assisting force will support the Lanzhou New Area owing the ability of strong industry accumulation and resources absorption, and thus the area’s economic radiation and leading rol e will strength evid ently. With a population of 300 thousand and urban

construction lands of 60 square kilometers, GDP of the area will reach 50 billion RMB.

到2020年，基本建成特色鲜明、功能齐全、产业集聚，服务配套、人居环境良好的现代化新区，城市人口规模60万人，城市建设用地规模约110平方公里，GDP达到1000亿元左右。

By 2020, distinguished feature mod ernization new area, possessing multipl e functions and supporting services, will have been compl etely built. More forward industrial agglomeration and friendlier habitabl e environment will follow behind. With a population of 600 thousand and urban construction lands of 110 square kilometers, the GDP of the area will reach 100 billion RMB.

到2030年，经济和社会持续、健康、稳定、快速发展，基础设施完善，生态环境良好，城乡协调发展，兰州新区现代化城市格局基本形成，城市人口规模100万人，城市建设用地面积约170平方公里，GDP达到2700亿元左右。

By 2030, keeping stabl e and healthy economy and society continuously process, the Lanzhou New Area will perfect infrastructure and have favorabl e eco-environment. Based on the mod ernization, cl ose combination between the urban and rural areas will be the traits of the Lanzhou New Area. With a population of 1 million and the urban construction land of 170 square kilometers, the GDP of the area will reach 270 billion RMB.

PLANNING LAYOUT规划及产业布局

兰州新区在功能划分上体现为两区、三片、多组团

Lanzhou New Area is functionally divid ed into two zones,three belts and multipl e groups

两区：北部生态农业示范区和南部生态林业休闲区。

三片：石化、物流产业片区，综合产业片区，城市服务功能片区。

多组团：石化、物流产业片区（物流产业组团、现代农业加工产业组团、精细化工产业组团、炼化产业组团和新材料产业组团），综合产业片区（高新技术产业组团、物流产业组团、航空服务组团、先进装备制造产业组团和科教研发中心组团），城市服务功能片区（区域中心服务组团、行政文化中心组团和高新技术产业组团）。

主导产业：高新技术、石油化工、装备制造、生物医药、电子信息、现代物流和现代农业等七大产业。

科学合理的园区功能分布和产业链延伸，为各类企业借力发展、节约成本、资源整合利用提供了有利条件。

Two zones: the agricultural ecol ogical zone in the north part and the ecol ogical forestry recreational zone in the south.
