【摘要】随着全球化水平日益提升，文化竞争的重要性日益凸显，在英语课堂教学中渗
透传统文化教育是基础教育阶段英语课程的重要任务。如何培养学生的文化自信，提高
学生书面表达能力，是当前英语课堂教学的一个重要工作。
【关键词】文化自信 书面表达
2018年全国高等教育入学考试已经落下帷幕。在每年高考的英语命题中，书面表达
一直是大家关注的焦点。纵观2016至2018年的英语高考全国卷以及各地方自主命题试
卷，我们不难发现，近三年的许多书面表达命题都涉及到了对中国传统文化的考察。以
下是近三年部分英语试卷的书面表达题目。
2016年 北京卷 假设你是红星中学高三学生李华。你的英国朋友Jim在
给你的邮件中提到他对中国历史很感兴趣，并请你介绍一位
你喜欢的中国历史人物。请你给Jim回信，内容包括：
1. 该人物是谁；
2. 该人物的主要贡献；
3. 该人物对你的影响
2017年 全国I卷 假定你是李华，正在教你的英国朋友Leslie学习汉语。

从以上命题中不难看出，近年英语书面表达仍然以应用文为主，涉及到了介绍信，
邀请信，建议信等，所选取角度也都是贴近学生生活实际的话题，但是无一例外，都在
简单的命题中，自然融入了中国传统文化的相关内容，引导学生在运用英语进行实际交
流的同时，又注重对我们优秀传统文化的传承与发扬，增强我们的文化自信。这一命题
原则，完全符合教育部2014年出台的《完善中华优秀传统文化教育指导纲要》（以下简
称《纲要》）以及《普通高中英语课程标准》（2017版）的要求。
中国拥有上下5000年的文明与传承，流传给我们博大精深的传统文化，这些传统
文化是加强我们民族凝聚力和创造力的源泉。同时，随着全球化的发展，各国文化在不
停地互相碰撞，互相影响，文化在综合国力竞争中的地位和作用更加凸显。因此，我们
必须加强中华传统文化的学习和渗透，让学生进一步了解中国的传统文化，培养他们的
民族自豪感和归属感。《纲要》指出，“加强中华优秀传统文化教育，对于引导青少年学
生更加全面准确地认识中华民族的历史传统、文化积淀、基本国情，认清中国特色社会
主义的历史必然性，坚定走中国特色社会主义道路、实现中华民族伟大复兴中国梦的理
想信念，具有重大而深远的历史意义。”《纲要》同时指出，在高中阶段，加强中华优
秀传统文化教育的主要任务是，“引导学生感悟中华优秀传统文化的精神内涵，增强学
生对中华优秀传统文化的自信心”。而在《普通高中英语课程标准》（2017版）中，也特
别将文化意识作为英语学科的四大核心素养之一，并对这一核心素养做了明确要求：“获
得文化知识，理解文化内涵，比较文化异同，汲取文化精华，形成正确的价值观，坚定
文化自信，形成自尊、自信、自强的良好品格，具备一定的跨文化沟通和传播中华文化
的能力。”
由此可见，英语虽然是一门外语，但是也肩负着传播优秀传统文化，培养学生文化
自信的重任。在近年的高考英语试卷中，渗透传统文化内涵，传播优秀传统文化也就成
为了一个重要的命题原则。因此，在英书面表达上，体现我们的文化自信，就显得尤为
重要。那么，我们怎样才能帮助学生培养他们的文化自信，提高他们书面表达能力呢？
首先，从思想上，要让我们的学生对传统文化的内涵与精神有真正的了解与认同。
英语作为一门外语，在实际教学中，往往比较重视西方文化的传播，使得学生对于西方
文化，包括思想与价值观都比较了解，比如现在校园与社会流行的各种西方节日，西方
礼仪等等。而对于中国传统文化的教育，在英语课堂上却相对较少。一方面是由于我们
的教材，如人教版的高中英语课本中，涉及中国传统文化的内容相对较少。另一方面在
我们的日常教学中，英语教师在课堂中往往会介绍大量西方文化与知识，会带领学生欣
赏经典的英文电影与诗歌，但是却忽略了我们优秀传统文化的传播。因此我们教师要转
变我们的教育理念，既要带领学生了解西方历史与文化，培养他们跨文化交际的能力，
同时也要让他们对我们自己的文化内涵，文化精神有更深刻的了解与认知，才能对我们
的文化产生热爱与认同，形成自信的文化品格。这就需要我们教师善于开发和利用现有
教材，帮助学生更好的去了解我们的传统文化。例如，在人教版必修三的Unit1 Festivals
around the world这一单元中，除了介绍不同国家的节日文化以外，教师还可以引导学生
去更深入的认识我们的传统节日，了解这些节日的起源，具体习俗，指导他们用英文形
成调查报告或者作品展示，如剪纸，写对联，包粽子，等等，让学生体会到我们每一个
习俗背后所蕴含的劳动人民的智慧与创造力，以及他们所传递出来的民族情感，那么学
生就能真正感受我们的文化内涵与趣味，进而热爱我们的文化。
其次，在日常教学过程中，要提高学生运用英语进行书面创作和表达的能力，包括
词汇，语法，句型等等。语言是文化的载体，文化与语言的关系密不可分，不同的文化，
其语言表达形式也不一样。因此我们要重视学生的语言能力培养，尤其要重视中西方文
化的思维和语言差异，让他们能够自然、得体地运用英语表达我们对传统文化的自信与
热爱。一方面，我们要重视词汇的学习，尤其是与中国文化有关的词汇。如2017年全
国一卷的书面表达中涉及到的唐诗，唐朝，很多学生就发现自己的词汇储备不够，不能
正确表达相关内容。还有现在的许多热门词汇，也是我们学习的重点，如“一带一路”，
新“四大发明”等等。此外，我们也要重视语言表达的得体性，既是否合理。例如，在2017
年高考英语全国II卷中，题目要求考生邀请外教Henry一起参观中国剪纸艺术展。其中
有一篇优秀范文中有这样两个表达。
I'm Li Hua, the leader of the paper-cutting club in our school.
I would appreciate it if you accept my invitation. I'm sure it can leave a wonderful
impression on you! I'm looking forward to your reply.
第一个表达中的leader，就不太符合英语的表达习惯，可以用director等词汇。而第
二个表达中，I'm sure it can leave a wonderful impression on you这一句，则是很好的体现
出了考生的文化自信与自豪感。因此，我们在日常教学中要充分重视词汇和语言结构教
育，帮助学生能够自如、得体的进行书面表达创作。
总之，我们教师在日常教学过程中，一方面，要向学生传播西方文化，培养学生的
跨文化交际意识和能力。另一方面，则需要加强对中国传统文化的教学，引导学生树立
正确的思想文化价值观念，继承与弘扬中国的传统文化，形成自信的文化品格。
