Many studies show that laughing is good for our health, and I have the same opinion. The reasons are as follow. First, laughing can help you forget worries and keep us in a good mood. As a result, we’ll have a good attitude with life. Second, laughing can even help reduce pain, makes us feel more comfortable. Third, unless we often laugh or smile, people around us will be affected, that is helpful in making more friends. Last, doctors have discovered people who laugh a lot are more healthier and lives longer. In fact, laughing is means of exercise. So if we want to live much long, we

should laugh often.

Our school newspaper is looking at an editor for its English edition. The job mainly consists two parts: One is to choose English articles for we students from other newspapers, magazines or the Internet. The other is pick out articles from those writing by students in our school and edit them for use.

We hope that the person can meet the following requirements: First, he is willing to devote some of his or her spare time to serve others. Second, it’s necessary for him or her to be well at both English and fine arts. Beside, the ability to use the computer is important. John is my best friend. However, he sometime makes me angry. For example, last Monday while we were taking test on history, he threw me a note, hoping that I could give him the answers of the questions on the papers. How could I help my best friend to cheating in a test? It was certainly that I refused his request, that made him quite unhappy at the time. After school, when I was asked him to go home with me, he didn’t look at me and said anything. Then he went away. The next day I had to write him a letter to

explain that I didn’t tell him the answers. He makes an apology to me after he realized that he was wrong.

When an English traveler, who spent a few week in Sweden, was about to go to home, he found he had only enough money left to get a ticket to England. Since it was only two-day voyage, he believed he can get home without eating anything. He final bought a ticket with that little money and went to board the ship. He closed his ears to the sound of the lunch bell or refused to go to the place where people had his dinner when dinnertime came. Therefore, he couldn’t stand this any longer and went to the dining hall, enjoy the last meal on the ship. He then said, “Waiter, brings me the bill.” “Oh, meals are included in the ticket.” sa id the waiter.

My summer vacation was divided in four parts. First , I went traveling with my cousin which is the same age as me. We went to many places of interests in China and enjoyed myself very much. And we planned to travel abroad next summer. Then I learned to play guitar. I went to my guitar class three times a week and practice a lot during the vacation. I still played music in my spare time and felt quite relaxing. Then I spent a lot of time read classic works by famous writers. What’s more, si nce my mom was extreme busy, I helped do much housework. I expect when the next summer will come soon!
