白色的衬衣，蓝色的裤子，黑色的条纹布鞋，板寸发型，严肃
的表情，略为消瘦的身躯，手拿一本教课书，多少年了，我永远
记得他当初的模样，我以前初中的英语老师—— 老师。
记得我第一次见到他是他给我们上第一节英语课。当他踩着在
上课铃急促地走进教室时，他那明显异与正常人的步伐，让我有
些吃惊。但他在那三尺讲台上用他那不太灵活身体滔滔不绝地给
我们传授知识时，他的这种执着和敬业让人不由自主的敬佩。
记得有一次，我上课偷偷看小说，正看得津津有味时，俺的大
名被他叫了一声，我猛得一惊，条件反射地站了起来，茫然地看
着讲台，同学们注视的目光让我一下子红了脸，老师不急不慢地
说道：“到讲台上来把这道题做一下？”唉呀妈呀，我当时就懵
了，脑子也无法思考了，全班五十个学生，要是到黑板上做不出
来多丢人呀。所以我利用转身之际连忙向同位求救，谁知那丫头
用手捂着嘴在我期待的眼神中吐出了两个字“不会”，当时我的
心就凉了，硬着头皮上去了。大家都知道，在讲台上看题和在下
面看题是两回事，站在黑板面前，脑子转的更慢。我努力地让自
己的脑子转动起来，最终确定一个答案，不过心中也不知道对不
对，心想死就死了，就这了。我外表冷静内心忐忑地回到位子上，
紧张地望着黑板，提着已到嗓子眼的心肝等待着老师公布答案，
我都不知道老师前面说了些什么，等他在我的答案下面画了一个
对号时，我的那个心呀，才放到了肚子里。接下来俺再也不敢做
小动作了，老老实实地坐在那里听讲。今天想想，对老师的负责
态度我由衷的表示感激，感激他没有责骂我，没有对我放任自流，
没有让俺自生自灭。
很多年过去了，也经历了各种各样的老师，但这位 老师是一
个特殊的存有。我对他的了解一直也是道听途说。他的妻子当时
是张掖哪个学校的一位英语老师，听说是科班出生，印象中是一
位戴着很厚近视镜的中年妇女，听说我们的英语老师是她一手教
出来，挺伟大的一位女性。因为 老师身体不太好，所以才跟自
己的妻子自学英语，而且还当上了英语老师，期间必定经历了一
些常人无法忍受的磨难。也许在今天人才济济的时代，他们夫妻
真的不算什么，不过在那个尤其是农村，英语老师奇缺的时代，
他们显得那么地重要。虽然我是不怎么成器，但是从他们手中也
走出了一批批优秀的学生。不管时代如何进步，那些今天仍然从
事与英语相关工作的学生，绝对不会忘了这位值得尊敬英语启蒙
老师。
