Lesson Two 是一节新授课，由三个板块组成：V ocabulary 板块中never sometimes usually always 等是新单词；Target板块中，How do you go to school? I usually go to school by bus句型；How does he/she go to school? He/ She usually goes to school by bus句型；Sounds and words 板块中，归纳al字母组合的发音，及6个含有这个音素的单词。
二．学情分析本节课的授课对象是五年级学生，经过近三年的英语学习，学生有了一定的英语基础，抽象思维能力有了一定的发展，自主意识也逐渐增强。
在第二单元Vacation Plans中，已经学会了“by bus by car by bike by train by plane”等，也通过学习“How are you going there?”初步了解了“How”的含义和基本用法，这些都为本节课的学习打下了基础。
三．设计思路本节课是本单元第二课时新授课，教师从单元整体视角出发，以培养学生运用语言能力、发展学生思维能力为目标，对教学内容进行整合再构，将Sounds and words部分的语音教学提前放到词汇部分学习，以丰富教学内容和形式。
词汇教学后，引入对话学习和篇章学习，将词汇、语音、对话、篇章等综合归纳并拓展，引领学生在实际交际中学会运用语言。
四．教学目标1. 知识目标（1）能运用词汇always usually sometimes never,以及句型How do you go to school? I always go to school by bus. How does he/she go to school? He/She usually goes to school by bus句型来表达坐什么交通工具去某地。

三、说教法学法教学有法，教无定法，依据英语教学的直观性、趣味性、实践性的教学原则，结合合作学习和任务型教学的新理念，我利用了录音机、卡片、多媒体等多种教具设计教学，但根据五年级学生好学好动、表现欲望强烈的特点，我主要采取了情景引入、整体感知、合作交流的学习方式让学生在情景中理解语言，并利用游戏突破和巩固本节课的重、难点；同时，让学生在教师的引导下，通过听、看、说、想、合作等学习方式巩固语言，得到真正意义上的语言水平的提升。
