Describe a teacher who has greatly influencedyou(人物题),Describe an object you use everyday(物品题),Describe a shop you often goto(地点题),Describe a familyevent(事件题). 以awashing machine为例,我们能想到的内容可能是颜色(〝Its color is white.〞). The reason why I chose this coloris that it matches well with my bathroom and besides, white has always been myfavorite color. It’s clean. You know. It is actually the smallestsize at that time. I put it in the corner, and it takes only a littlespace. How has technology changed people’slife? Well, technology did change our life a lot. Take my family as an e_ample, ten yearsago, we used electric fan in hot summer but now the air-conditioning brings usmore comfort. 最新5-8月雅思口语Part2话题范文:an activity that you feel e_citedYou should say:what you didwhere and when you did thiswho you shared the activity withand e_plain why this activity was new or e_citing for you.范文:A couple of weeks ago I went with some friends to play paintball. It’ssomething I’d never done before so I was interested to see what it would belike. My friend, who has been doing this activity for about a year, knew a placejust outside of the city where they have a special course, or site, all set upfor the participants. We arrived around 10am in the morning and one of the instructorse_plained tous all about the safety equipment, the rules, how to use the guns and talkedabout some basic techniques and how to deal with the obstacles on the site. Thattook about a half hour. Then we got ready and split into two teams. There werefour people in each team.We spent about 2 hours doing this activity. I was surprised because it’s morephysical than I thought, there’s a lot of running around involved but it’s alsovery e_citing. I could feel the adrenalin pumping inside me. It took me a fewminutes to get used to the idea of firing the gun and dodging other peopletrying to fire at me, but it was good fun as well as good e_ercise. I have toadmit that I was disappointed when I got ‘killed’ three times, but hey, it wasmy first time so I guess I still have a lot to learn if I want to become as goodat it as my friend.I can see why a lot of people like this activity, it’s quite addictive, andI’m sure the more you do it the better you become and then want to play evenmore. Two of my friends have been doing it for about a year now and they arequite serious about it. They have their own equipment and one of themparticipated in a local tournament last month. We all had a great time that day and then after we went for lunch together soit was a nice day out and it’s always interesting to try something new ande_citing that you haven’t done before. Maybe I’ll go again sometime in thefuture.最新5-8月雅思口语Part2话题范文:a website that you often useYou should say:where you saw itwhat it was aboutwhy you think it was an interesting advertisement.考官范文:what type of website it ishow you found out about itwhat it allows you to do, and why you find it useful. I want to talk about a website called IELTS-Simon, which is a website I useand check every day. This is a website dedicated for the preparation of the IELTS e_am. It isupdated on a daily basis and is maintained by an e_-IELTS e_aminer calledSimon.I don t really remember how I found out about this website, but I guess itpopped out when I was googling for some IELTS materials on the web about twoyears ago. Since then, I ve been using and reading its contents every day. Of all the IELTS related websites available on the Internet, I think this isthe most useful one because of the following reasons. Firstly, we can e_pect anew IELTS lesson every day, and the lesson could be for the Listening, Reading,Writing, or Speaking part. Secondly, besides IELTS materials, Simon also givesus plenty of useful advice on grammar and tips to get high scores for thischallening e_am. And thirdly, which I think is the most important, visitors ofthis website can make comments and/or ask questions, which makes things moreinteractive and productive at the same time. All in all, this is a wonderful website that I recommend it to everyonepreparing for the IELTS.最新5-8月雅思口语Part2话题范文:interesting advertisement that you have seenYou should say:where you saw itwhat it was aboutwhy you think it was an interesting advertisement. I m going to talk about an advertisement for Coca-Cola, which is one of thebiggest brands in the world. I ve seen Coke advertised everywhere, on postersand TV commercials. The advert shows a picture of Santa Claus smiling and holding a bottle ofCoke. I think the aim is to target children and associate (link/connect) thebrand with Christmas time. The advert is interesting because the company is deliberately trying toinfluence and attract children. The marketers are trying to capture youngcustomers. They are presenting the drink as something special, a gift forChristmas. However, Coca-Cola is not necessarily a healthy drink for children;it contains a lot of sugar. Maybe this kind of advertising manipulates childrenand encourages them to pester their parents.

例如:Where are you from?(你来自哪?)Why are you studying English?(为什么学英语呀?)Have you visited any English speaking countries?(去过说英语的国家吗?)Do you play any sports?(你参与什么运动吗?)

Where are you from?Im from Shanghai in China. Its the largest city in China. Its a modern city but with a lot of history and a lovely place to live.

Why are you preparing for the IELTS exam?Because I need it for my studies. Ive been offered a place at a university in England to study on an MBA but I need to show my level of English is good enough.

In most countries, prison is the most common solution for the problem ofcrime. However, the more effective solution is to provide people with bettereducation so that they do not become criminals. To what e_tent do you agree ordisagree. Opinions differ on the e_tent to which incarceration deals effectively withcrime as opposed to improving the quality of education. My view is that therewill always be a role for prisons in confining evil people, but better educationis more likely to reduce crime levels. Confining criminals to prison is likely to always be necessary at least tosome e_tent. There are currently a large number of people in jail for seriousoffences like murder and, for them, preventive education would come too late. Itis more important that society continue to be protected from them than torelease them in the hope that they might reform by virtue of educationalprogrammes. Another reality is the fact that some people choose to commitserious wrongdoings no matter how much education they have received. This is thecase for many white-collar crimes such as fraud which often involve theelaborate schemes that only very intelligent people could devise.1) Nevertheless, improvements to education would, in my view, be a better meansof reducing the number of people who want to commit crime in the long-term. Acquiring more useful knowledge especially when young would provide greateropportunities for entry into satisfying careers. Further education opens up newpossibilities in terms of developing healthy interests and participating inworthwhile activities such as sports and hobbies. Better education would achieveimproved outcomes such as a proficiency in a sport rather than just a passinginterest. The more people achieve personal goals in terms of their careers orhobbies, the more people will find meaning in life and thus not be tempted touse their talents in illegal ways.1) In conclusion, I acknowledge the place that imprisonment will have inprotecting society from serious offenders who have already committed crimes. However crime levels are more likely to fall more drastically over the longerterm by reason of improvement to education._年5月_日雅思小作文真题范文解析雅思写作小作文解析这是一道典型的动态双饼图,难度中等. The pie charts make a clear comparison in terms of how water was distributedin a range of industries in Sydney of Australia between _97 and _.According to the data, it is evident that in _97, almost one half amount ofwater (48%) was allocated in food industry while a collective 47% could be foundin the remaining sectors including service, manufacturing and household wherewater was more equally shared, ranging from _% to _%. To whate_tent do you agree or disagree? For controls1. Every society has vulnerable people –such as children, people withlearning difficulties –who are not able to make good decisions about thecontent of visual media that they watch; they need protection from disturbingcontent and parents or carers are not always willing or able to protectthem;每个社会都有脆弱的人,比如孩子,有学习障碍的人. Thetolerance of violent visual media is inconsistent with the values of a societywhich wishes to promote altruism and kindness amongcitizens忍受媒体的暴力内容,和社会的价值观不符. There is considerable anecdotalevidence that serial killers and terrorists consumed a lot of violent imagesbefore committing their crimes. Though it may be impossible to scientifically prove that watching violenceleads to more acts of violence being committed, our common sense tells us thatwhat we consume has an effect on our personalities and our actions over thelongerterm. Against controls1. Individual liberty –watching films per se does not directly damage otherpeople and so everyone should be free to make their own moral judgments aboutwhat kind of media content they watch个人自由. 2. It is simply impracticable for governments to controlthe access to media content of millions or even billions of users; doing socould also require a dangerous level of state intrusion into the private livescitizens让政府控制数以百万甚至数十亿的用户在媒体上观看什么内容,就是不可行的.

Some people believe that hobbies need to be difficult to be enjoyable. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Some hobbies are relatively easy, while others present more of a challenge. Personally, I believe that both types of hobby can be fun, and I therefore disagree with the statement that hobbies need to be difficult in order to be enjoyable On the one hand, many people enjoy easy hobbies. One example of an activity that is easy for most people is swimming. This hobby requires very little equipment, it is simple to learn, and it is inexpensive. I remember learning to swim at my local swimming pool when I was a child, and it never felt like a demanding or challenging experience. Another hobby that I find easy and fun is photography. In my opinion, anyone can take interesting pictures without knowing too much about the technicalities of operating a camera. Despite being straightforward, taking photos is a satisfying activity. On the other hand, difficult hobbies can sometimes be more exciting. If an activity is more challenging, we might feel a greater sense of satisfaction when we manage to do it successfully. For example, film editing is a hobby that requires a high level of knowledge and expertise. In my case, it took me around two years before I became competent at this activity, but now I enjoy it much more than I did when I started. I believe that many hobbies give us more pleasure when we reach a higher level of performance because the results are better and the feeling ofachievement is greater. In conclusion, simple hobbies can be fun and relaxing, but difficult hobbies can be equally pleasurable for different reasons. Some people believe that developments in the field of artificial intelligence will have a positive impact on our lives in the near future. Others, by contrast, are worried that we are not prepared for a world in which computers are more intelligent than humans. Discuss both of these views and give your own opinion.范文:People seem to be either excited or worried about the future impact of artificial intelligence. Personally I can understand the two opposing points of view; I am both fascinated by developments in artificial intelligence and apprehensive about its possible negative effects. On the one hand, the increasing intelligence of technology should bring some obvious benefits. Machines are clearly able to do many jobs better than humans can, especially in areas that require high levels of accuracy or calculations using large amounts of data. For example, robots are being developed that can carry out surgical procedures with greater precision than a human doctor, and we already have cars that use sensors and cameras to drive themselves. Such technologies can improve safety by reducing the likelihood of human errors. It is easy to imagine how these developments, and many others, will steadily improve our quality of life.On the other hand, I share the concerns of people who believe that artificial intelligence may harm us if we are not careful. In the short term, it is likely that we will see a rise inunemployment as workers in various industries are replaced by machines or software programs. For example, self-driving vehicles are expected to cause redundancies in driving jobs, such as lorry drivers, taxi drivers and bus drivers. In the medium term, if intelligent technologies gradually take jobs away from humans, we may find that people become deskilled and lose their sense of purpose in life. A longer term fear is that computers become so intelligent that they begin to make decisions without human oversight and without regard for our well-being.In conclusion, while intelligent machines will no doubt improve our lives in many ways, the potential risks of such technologies should not be ignored.(295 words, band 9)雅思Simon考官大作文范文:老一代人的生活思想对年轻一代是否有帮助题目:The older generations tend to have very traditional ideas about how people should live, think and behave. However, some people believe that these ideas are not helpful in preparing younger generations for modern life.To what extent do you agree or disagree with this view?范文:It is true that many older people believe in traditional values that often seem incompatible with the needs of younger people. While I agree that some traditional ideas are outdated, I believe that others are still useful and should not be forgotten. On the one hand, many of the ideas that elderly people have about life are becoming less relevant for younger people. In the past, for example, people were advised to learn a profession and find a secure job for life, but today’s workers expect much more variety and diversity from their careers. At the same time, the‘rules’ around relationships are being eroded as young adults make their own choices about who and when to marry. But perhaps the greatest disparity between the generations can be seen in their attitudes towards gender roles. The traditional roles of men and women, as breadwinners and housewives, are no longer accepted as necessary or appropriate by most younger people. On the other hand, some traditional views and values are certainly applicable to the modern world. For example, older generations attach great importance to working hard, doing one’s best, and taking pride in one’s work, and these behaviours can surely benefit young people as they enter today’s competitive job market. Other characteristics that are perhaps seen as traditional are politeness and good manners. In our globalised world, young adults can expect to come into contact with people from a huge variety of backgrounds, and it is more important than ever to treat others with respect. Finally,I believe that young people would lead happier lives if they hada more ‘old-fashioned’ sense of community and neighbourliness. In conclusion, although the views of older people may sometimes seem unhelpful in today’s world, we should not dismiss all traditional ideas as irrelevant.(299 words, band 9)雅思Simon考官9分大作文Minority languages范文题目: Several languages are in danger of extinction because they are spoken by very small numbers of people. Some people say that governments should spend public money on saving these languages, while others believe that would be a waste of money. Discuss both these views and give your opinion. It is true that some minority languages may disappear in the near future. Although it can be argued that governments could save money by allowing this to happen, I believe that these languages should be protected and preserved. There are several reasons why saving minority languages could be seen as a waste of money. Firstly, if a language is only spoken by a small number of people, expensive education programmes will be needed to make sure that more people learn it, and the state will have to pay for facilities, teachers and marketing. This money might be better spent on other public services. Secondly, it would be much cheaper and more efficient for countries to have just one language. Governments could cut all kinds of costs related to communicating with each minority group.Despite the above arguments, I believe that governments should try to preserve languages that are less widely spoken. A language is much more than simply a means of communication; it has a vital connection with the cultural identity of the people who speak it. If a language disappears, a whole way of life will disappear with it, and we will lose the rich cultural diversity that makes societies more interesting. By spending money to protect minority languages, governments can also preserve traditions, customs and behaviours that are part of a country’s history. In conclusion, it may save money in the short term if we allow minority languages to disappear, but in the long term this would have an extremely negative impact on our cultural heritage. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?范文:It is sometimes argued that tourists from overseas should be charged more than local residents to visit important sites and monuments. I completely disagree with this idea. The argument in favour of higher prices for foreign tourists would be that cultural or historical attractions often depend on state subsidies to keep them going, which means that the resident population already pays money to these sites through the tax system. However, I believe this to be a very shortsighted view. Foreign tourists contribute to the economy of the host country with the money they spend on a wide range of goods and services, including food, souvenirs, accommodation and travel. The governments and inhabitants of every country should be happy to subsidise important tourist sites and encourage people from the rest of the world to visit them.If travellers realised that they would have to pay more to visit historical and cultural attractions in a particular nation, they would perhaps decide not to go to that country on holiday. To take the UK as an example, the tourism industry and many related jobs rely on visitors coming to the country to see places like Windsor Castle or Saint Paul’s Cathedral. These two sites charge the same price regardless of nationality, and this helps to promote the nation’s cultural heritage. If overseas tourists stopped coming due to higher prices, there would be a risk of insufficient funding for the maintenance of these important buildings. In conclusion, I believe that every effort should be made to attract tourists from overseas, and it would be counterproductiveto make them pay more than local residents.(269 words, band 9)。

There is no doubt that helping students find a job is one of the primary functions of university education, but universities do exist for other purposes such as improving students’analytical skills and raising students’moral standards.A university education can be seen as a process of improving students’analytical thinking. The variety of courses offered at university inspires students in various ways, therefore improving their analytical ability. For example, science courses such as math and biology help students develop a rational way of thinking whereas arts courses such as literature 123ve to let students ponder over issues from a logical, multi- dimensional perspective; and courses in social sciences force students to recognize the ideas that have been traditionally assumed to be acceptable and unproblematic. With the development of these types of analytical thinking, graduates can face future challenges with more confidence and enthusiasm. Also, university education is expected to improve students’ moral standards. This is rooted in universities’belief that students’awar123ss of responsibility towards their community and their country is of high importance. In this ever-deg123rating society and civilization, students are encouraged actively participate in improving the local community. A university that provides care and facilities for physicallydisadvantaged students may inspire the graduates to better handle situations in the future where they may have to interact with the disabled community. A successful university education is supposed to produce morally sound graduates, therefore increasing their employability. In conclusion, university education not only helps students locate a decent job but will also develop other qualities such as enhancing their analytical skills and cultivating their hunger and spirit for life. Some people warn that the era of the silver screen is coming to an end and that people will eventually lose interest in going to the cinema.Do you agree or disagree with this view?(250 words)wilight 2: New Moon could become the most successful blockbuster in movie history. Despite the movie has made more than 2,000 million US dollars over the week, many still believe movie industry is for sure to fade out from pe ople’s entertainment life. Personally, I found it hard to side with the pessimists.Undoubtedly, the magic of silver screen is no longer that fascinating as before. One major reason to draw people away from cinema is the evolution of home entertainment. Since technology can almost recreate similar audio-visual experience right in your living room, many have turned to their couch and popcorn. There could not be a better example than the booming of video stores worldwide. They sprung up everywherearound resi dential areas and had won many people’s favor.Though cinema might be facing crucial challenge by other forms of entertainment, it is too reckless to spell its end. The silver screen still attracts people as a unique experience. Going to cinema is more a form of social activities, therefore, many people still prefer such opportunities, not only to see a brilliant movie, but have a good time with families or friends as well. Many major Cineplex have already launched diverse family coupons as a marketing gesture. This can show how cinema can adopt and adapt in this changing environment.Cinemas also consolidate its status by always providing the latest movie. With most producing companies tend to release DVD a while after the movie, hence, for many movie fanatic, cinema is always their first choice. The Twilight 2 movie can make such a killing is just the perfect way to show the advantages of cinema over DVD.In conclusion, I agree cinemas are facing extreme competition in modern time. However, I do not think i t would be bleached away in people’s life. Being aware of the challenge, cinemas can also surprise us with new elements.o what extent do you agree or disagree?Nowadays, there are lots of advertisements on television or on the streets. Som people think that the advertsing boosts the sales of goods and it encourages people to buy things unnecessarily. This arguments maybe true in my country, many advertising companies produce advertisements with famous and popular actors or singers. People, especially youngsters, buy goods that their favourite singer advertise, although they do not really need the products. Also, on the television screen, a product may look gorgeous and good quality. As a result of it, people often buy goods without enough consideration. Consumers may not actually need it but they buy goods impulsively soon after they watch the advertising. Furthermore, as many customers buy a particular product due to its advertising campaign, the other people may be affected by the trend, even if the product is not of the real needs of the society. On the other hand, there are vairous aspects against these arguments. Moreover, it is people's choice to make a decision to buy goods. Advertising may be not a cause of customers' buying habits. Individuals have their own spending habits. If they have got enough disposable income, then the right to make a decision is given to them. No one actually can judge whether the goods sold are the real needs of the society or not.In addition, as there should be a limited amount of disposable income consumers are able to spend, people try to allocate their budgets. They cannot be simply swayed by those advertisements. In conclsuion, as customers have their own strong opinions and standad of good quality goods, it is better to leave them to make their own decisionin buy goods. It is fairly difficult to say everyone is swayed by advertising and buy good impulsively. However, in sensitive area of businesses such as toy industries, it may be necessary to band advertising to those children as children have not got enough ability to control themselves or to know what they need.(332words)This is an answer written by a candidate who achieved a Band 7.5 score. Here is the examiner's comment:The way in which the candidate has responded to the task is a strong point of this script. It is a well-developed answer that addresses the issues relevantly and at length. The writer introduces the topic, examines both sides of the argument and expresses a clear position. Points are well-argued and supported with examples. The answer is well-organised and the message is easy to follow with clear paragraphing and linking of ideas. There are too many erros in cohesion, however, and some linkers are not always fully appropriate, so this limits the rating for this criterion.A wide range of vocabulary is used accurately and precisely, in spite of one or two awkward expressions and some rare errors. Similarly, a sophisticated range of structures is used but there are too many minor errors and omissions (such as in the use of prepositions and basic subjedct/verb agreement) to reach Band 8. Nevertheless these mistakes do not reduce the clarity of the answer and overall a wide range of languageis used with a high level of proficiency.A rise in the world’s population is having serious, negative effects on the environment. Some scientists believe that the only way to solve the problem is to set up a colony on the Moon. Others argue that the cost would be far too great and other solutions should be sought. What is your opinion? The environment is, of course, under serious threat, but the extent to which population growth is responsible may not be as great as some people claim. In fact there are many other factors such as the growth in big cities, pollution from traffic and manufacturing, and the destruction of rainforest that probably play a bigger role. It is questionable, therefore, how far a colony on the Moon would help solve the problem. One of the most serious threats to the global ecosystem is the destruction of the rainforests with an area the size of Europe disappearing every year. And this is largely due to large companies in their pursuit of profit. Indeed, whilst international logging companies claim to use on average 10 percent of the species of trees that make up the rainforest, that 10 percent of species constitute about 90 percent of the volume.Naturally, if the world’s population was not as large, the demand for wood would be considerably reduced, which would support setting up a colony on the Moon. But even if the colony was set up how many people inreality, would relocate? Even if the number ran into tens of thousands the actual effect on the world’s population would be minimal. Indeed, we only need to consider how many people were killed during the two world wars, which ran into millions, to support this claim. Instead, the cost should be transferred into the development of sustainable economies.Take, for instance, the growth of big cities that consume land at an enormous rate, and that rely on transport and essential services that devastate the environment. If people were to revert to living in small semi self-contained communities, many of the problems experienced by big cities could be avoided. It would even be beneficial for the economy because it would promote the development of small, family run businesses. At the end of the day, to claim that setting up a colony on the Moon would help to solve the issue of environmental damage is to close our eyes to the causes of the damage. In short, it could potentially turn out to be a very costly exercise with few real benefits. 雅思口语各分数范文一、雅思口语5分范文(话题:描述一次难忘的旅行)Well, I'm gonna talk about a trip to a beach. It was like, last year or something.I went to this beach with my family. The beach was not too far from my home, just like a couple of hours' drive. When we got there, the first thing I saw was the big blue ocean. It was really big and kind of shiny under the sun.We set up our umbrellas and laid out our towels on the sand. The sand was kind of hot, so we had to run really fast to the water. The water was warm, but not too warm. There were some small waves that pushed us around a bit.We just swam for a while and then we ate some sandwiches that my mom made. They were just normal sandwiches, but they tasted good when you're hungry at the beach. After that, we built a sandcastle. It wasn't a very good one, like it didn't look like those fancy ones you see in pictures. But we had fun making it.That's about it. It was a simple trip but it was still quite memorable for me.二、雅思口语6分范文(话题:描述一个你钦佩的人)I want to talk about my grandpa. He's really an amazing person in my eyes. You know, my grandpa is in his seventies now, but he's still full of energy. He gets up really early every morning, like 5 o'clock or something. And then he goes for a walk in the park near his house. He says it keeps him healthy. He used to be a teacher, and he taught for like 40 years. He was really good at his job. He could make those boring history lessons super interesting. I remember when I was a kid, he told me all kinds of stories about the past. It was like he was opening a magic box full of secrets. What I admire most about him is his positive attitude. No matter what problems he meets, he always smiles and says "it'll be okay". For example, once he lost his wallet, but instead of getting all worried and sad, hejust thought that someone who really needed the money might have found it.He also loves gardening. He has a small garden at his backyard. He grows all kinds of flowers and vegetables. His tomatoes are the best I've ever tasted. He takes good care of those plants like they're his little babies. He's just such a great person that I really look up to.三、雅思口语7分范文(话题:描述一个有趣的地方)I'd like to share with you an interesting place that I've been to it's a small town called Jiufen in Taiwan. When you first arrive at Jiufen, it's like stepping into a different world. They are made of wood mostly, and some of them have these beautiful balconies where you can see the whole town and the sea in the distance. At night, Jiufen is even more magical. All the lights are on, and it looks like a scene from an old movie. The warm yellow lights shine through the wooden windows of the shops, and you can hear the gentle sound of music and people chatting. It's a place that has a special atmosphere that you can't find in big cities. I bought some basic tools like a cutting knife, a stitching awl and some different kinds of leather from a local craft store.I spent a long time designing the wallet in my head before I actually started. I wanted it to be something unique and practical. I decided on a simple bifold design. Then I carefully measured and cut the leather pieces.I had to be really precise, because even a small mistake in cutting could ruin the whole thing. When it came to stitching, it was a bit challenging. I used a saddle stitch method. It took me hours to stitch the edges together neatly. I had to make sure that each stitch was tight and evenly spaced. But it was also really satisfying to see the wallet start to take shape as I stitched. After that, I added some finishing touches. I burnished the edges to make them smooth and shiny. And I put a small metal button on the flap for closure. The final product was really something I was proud of. It wasn't perfect, but it had a certain charm to it. It had the marks of my own hands, and every little imperfection was a reminder of the effort I put into it. Whenever I use it, I feel a sense of accomplishment. It's not just a wallet, but a piece of art that I created with my own hands.。

“Understand everything you said”,

Talk slow, but
Friends
Desperate Housewives, Lost, 24 hour

Hope for the
best, and prepare for the worst.

“Don‘t judge a book by its cover.”
