Unit 8 Open Day一、教材分析：本单元的核心教学内容是“介绍教室”，还重点介绍了There is / are … in / on / near …句型。

There be结构是陈述某种客观存在物（或人）的常用句型。

本单元中的这一句型既涉及到了单数，又涉及到了复数，目的是想让学生注意there be结构中is与are的用法和介词in, on, near的用法。

在教授句型时，教师要合理地创设情景，在教室中，在客厅里……等，先使学生能用介词以及介词词组，然后让学生完整地表达句子，通过反复地练习，使学生能比较流利地运用there be结构。

在学生掌握这一结构后，帮助学生总结there be结构的句子模式：there be 人（或物）介词词组.还要让学生知道“就近原则”，即be动词的使用是根据紧跟后面的名词形式来选择的。

二、学情分析：教师可通过对教室进行介绍来引出本单元的重要句型There is / are … in / on / near …并引出本单元的新授单词，以提高学生的学习兴趣，并能与实际生活相结合。
