作文初二读后感英语Reading is an essential part of my life. It not only broadens my horizons but also enriches my knowledge. Recently, I read a book called "The Diary of Anne Frank" which left a deep impression on me."The Diary of Anne Frank" is a true story about a young Jewish girl named Anne Frank who lived in hiding during the Holocaust. The diary was written by Anne herself, documenting her thoughts, feelings, and experiences while hiding from the Nazis with her family and a few others. AsI read through the pages, I was struck by Anne's courage, resilience, and optimism in the face of such adversity. One of the things that stood out to me the most was Anne's unwavering belief in the goodness of people, despite the horrors she was witnessing. She wrote, "In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart." This quote resonated with me deeply and reminded me of the importance of maintaining hope and faith in humanity, even in the darkest of times.Another aspect of the book that moved me was Anne's passion for writing. Throughout her time in hiding, writing in her diary became a form of therapy for her, allowing her to express her innermost thoughts and emotions. I was inspired by her dedication to writing and the power of words to provide solace and comfort in times of distress.Reading "The Diary of Anne Frank" was a humbling experience for me. It made me reflect on the fragility of life, the atrocities of war, and the importance of standing up against injustice. Anne's story serves as a reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the enduring power of hope.In conclusion, "The Diary of Anne Frank" is a poignant and powerful book that has left a lasting impact on me. It has taught me valuable lessons about courage, compassion, and the strength of the human spirit. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a moving and thought-provoking read.。

初中生英语读后感5篇1.初中生英语读后感篇一Hello, everyone. I believe you should be familiar with the book J ourney to the West. The book has 100 chapters, which can be divided into three parts in terms of its structure. The whole book mainly tells the story of Tang Monk and his four disciples who went to the West to get sc riptures. They encountered many difficulties on the way, and fi nally obtained the true scri ptures and achieved the correct results. This book twists and turns reflects the contradictions in the real society. Through the struggle between people and demons and the relati onship between the first-level demons, it shows the optimistic spiritof the people to overcome difficulties and the decadence and chaos of the ruling class in the feudal era.The author, Wu Chengen, was very clever since childhood. He entered school very early. He achieved his ambition as a young man and became famous in the countryside. Volume 16 of Tianqi's Annals of Huai'an M ansion said that Wu Chengen was "sensitive and intelligent, and wrotea lot of books. It was a poem and a writing.". However, as an adult, Wu Chengen was not successful. He suffered setbacks on the way to the i mperial examination. Only when he was in his forties did he make up for a year old tribute student. In his fifties, he served as the head of Changxing County, Zhejiang Province, and later served as Ji Shan of the King Jing's Mansion. This is an unofficial position at the same level as the head of the county. One of my favorite chapters is the resurrection of Kou Shanren. The story is full of twists and turns. I regret the death of Kou Shanren, and am glad that Wukong helped me to revive. The change of the story a lso touches my heart, as if people were in this situation.Well, after listening to my explanation, do you also want to travel in the world of Journey to the West?2.初中生英语读后感篇二Today, I read "The Story of Wang Erxiao" with my mother, and I felt deeply. I think Wang Erxiao is a smart and smart child, and I am en couraged by his wit and courage. In that war era, the young Wang Erxiao was able to be fearless in the face of danger, calm and tactful, and led the devils into the encirclement of the Eighth Route Army. He made sacrifices for the country and the people, while preserving the lives and property of the villagers. His sacrifice is great and glorious.Today, our good life is hard-won. It is the result of countless Wang Erxiao's blood and life. We should cherish it, and at the same time, we should study hard to repay the country and society in the future. As primary school students, we should start from the small things around us, and be diligent and diligent in learning. In life, we should unite our classmates and be willing to help others. We have no reason to waste our time. The new generation of us is the future of the mot herland and the backbone of the country. We should inherit the glorious tradition of the revolutionary martyrs, cherish the happy life they have earned with their lives today, study hard, contribute our strength to the socialist cause, and add bricks and tiles to the prosperity of the motherland!3.初中生英语读后感篇三"Father and Son" is a world comic strip, which is the work of the famous German writer E. O. Braun. Among them, I like the cartoons "Eno ugh" in "Father and Son", "New Year's Eve", "Good result is all right", and "Hat with anchor".The first "Bad Family Composition" in "Father and Son" means that the hero's son can't write a composition, and his father has little cu lture, but his father acts as a very literate, so his father helps his son finish the composition. The next day, the teacher criticized his son and said that his composition was the worst in the class, almost all of which were typos. The teacher asked him how he wrote it, and his son said that his father helped him write it. The teacher was even more angry. He took his son back to his home and saw his father at home. So he used the book to fight his father's shares. The second "One year later" mainly talks about this day, which is cloudless, and I don't know how my father can remember to measure his son's height. So my father called my son over and asked him to lean his back on the tree, and then my father nailed a nail on the tree where his son was overhead. On this day in the next year, my father remembered the matter of measuring his height. So the father called his son ag ain, and his son looked at the nails on the tree. I think I am not onl y tall, but also short. Seeing the confused son, the father said to hi s son, "You are not getting shorter, but the tree is also growing."Through the book "Father and Son", I learned a truth: Don't do stu pid things for fun.4.初中生英语读后感篇四Bambi the Little Deer is about the growth of a young deer from bi rth to adulthood.Bambi is a lively and lovely stag. He is curious about everything. If he doesn't understand anything, he asks his mother "why". Bambi gro ws up day by day, and his mother is not like before. She accompanies h im all the time. Bambi asks her why, and her mother replies, "You have grown up and should learn to live independently.".In that massacre, Bambi lost his mother. Since then, Bambi has liv ed alone. Bambi gradually got used to living alone and learned to be s trong. After growing into a big deer, Bambi became prince. After reading Bambi the Little Deer, I felt that human beings are really cruel. If human beings and deer were friends, the deer would su rely live better. At the same time, it also tells us that children sho uld learn to be strong and independent, learn to take care of themselv es, and support themselves. Parents can't be around you at all times. We should also learn to think twice before doing anything. Don't take risks when you shouldn't, sometimes you will lose your life. How can you see a rainbow without experiencing wind and rain. The vitality of the flowers in the greenhouse can never compare with that of the weeds in the mountains. Finally, we should make ourselves have a pair of strong and powerful wings to fly freely in the sky of life.5.初中生英语读后感篇五I recently read an article called "Mother's Rice Bag", which is a tear-provoking article. This story tells of a mother who suffered from rheumatism for her son to go to school. The son wanted to help his mother, but his mother beat him into school. At that time, I had to pay 30 jin of rice per mo nth. Although my family was very poor, my mother sent it. The first ti me and the second time, Master Xiong in the canteen asked for it. The third time, Master Xiong said nothing. At this time, my mother actuall y knelt down! Mother said that she asked for the meal! Master Xiong wa nted to tell the headmaster that he was stopped by the mother who want ed to protect his son's self-esteem. Later, the headmaster exempted hi s son from all the expenses for three years of high school in the name of poor students. My son was admitted to Tsinghua University. Knowing this, he held his mother in his arms and cried loudly.Students, what kind of environment do you live in? Do you think ab out your parents. Can you throw a tantrum when you taste that the food you cooked is not to your taste? Don't complain about your poor condit ions. Compared with the poor mother and son, we have got too much. I t hink of my situation, the past and the parents who worked for me day a nd night. I don't feel that way. I should strive to open up my own wor ld, repay my parents with a successful future and let them live a good life. We should seize every day and take every step well. Our success and success are the best gifts for our parents.。

八年级英语作文读后感100字左右全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Book Report on The Lion, The Witch and The WardrobeI just finished reading this really cool book called The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. It's about these four kids named Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy who go to live with an old professor during World War 2 because of the air raids in London. While playing hide and seek, the youngest one Lucy finds this old wardrobe that's actually a magic portal to another world called Narnia! At first her siblings don't believe her when she tells them about Narnia and the faun (that's like a half-man half-goat creature) she met there named Mr. Tumnus. But then Edmund follows her into the wardrobe and meets the White Witch, who is this scary evil lady who has cursed Narnia to be in an endless winter without Christmas. She tricks Edmund into betraying his siblings and brings him over to her side by giving him magical Turkish Delight candies.Eventually, all four of them end up going through the wardrobe together and meeting lots of cool talking animal people who are waiting for the return of Aslan the Lion. Aslan is the true king who created Narnia and he's being called back to defeat the White Witch with her dark magic. There's beavers, fauns, centaurs (they're half human half horse!), and even Father Christmas shows up to give the kids tools to fight with. It's such an imaginative world! The White Witch keeps trying to stop them by using sorcery to turn good creatures into her evil minions. She even turns Mr. Tumnus to stone at one point for being disloyal. Edmund runs away to join her side because of the Turkish Delight spell she put on him, but the others are true heroes and stay loyal to Aslan and Narnia. It all builds up to this epic battle between the White Witch's forces and Aslan's army where people and creatures die fighting bravely. Aslan even sacrifices himself to save Edmund because the Witch had a rule that any traitor belonged to her. But then Aslan comes back to life because there's a deeper magic that says if an innocent is sacrificed, they can be revived. So crazy! In the end, the Pevensie kids help overthrow the Witch and Aslan makes them the new kings and queens of Narnia to rulefor years and years until they're old. They have amazing adventures before eventually going back to the wardrobe as kids again. The last part shows them as grownups reminiscing about their time in Narnia.I loved how the author blended traditional fantasy elements like witches, lions and magic with modern kid characters caught up in their wild quest. Narnia felt so real to me while reading it, with its own history, talking animals, mythical beasts and epic battle scenes. Yet it was all discovered through an ordinary wardrobe! The religious symbolism was cool too, like Aslan the lion being a Jesus-like savior figure who sacrifices himself for Edmund then rises again triumphant over evil. And the concept of parallel worlds or dimensions you could travel between was really mindblowing for me to picture. What if there really are other realities beyond the walls of our homes?I think the author did an amazing job of crafting this rich, immersive fantasy land that came to life in my imagination with its memorable characters, exciting adventure and powerful life lessons about courage, loyalty and confronting fear. I honestly didn't want it to end because Narnia became so real to me and Iwanted to keep living there alongside the Pevensies in their magical reign.I can totally see why this beloved children's classic has charmed readers for generations. Reading it made me feel like a kid again escaping into an enchanted world of endless possibilities. I'm already dying to read the next book and continue the journey into Narnia's wondrous other realms! Two thumbs up to C.S. Lewis for unlocking the door to one of the greatest fantasy series ever told.篇2A Magical World of Words: My Journey into Harry PotterAs an 8th grader, the Harry Potter series has become my literary sanctuary. J.K. Rowling's brilliance lies not just in her captivating storytelling but in the rich tapestry of characters that come alive on every page. From Harry's unwavering courage to Hermione's intellectual curiosity, each persona resonates profoundly with me.Beyond the spellbinding adventures, however, what truly captivates me is the universal message of friendship, love, and standing up against injustice. Rowling's words have kindled within me a deeper appreciation for the magic that exists in ourordinary lives. This series will forever hold a cherished place in my heart as a timeless masterpiece. And here is a 2000-word fictional book review from the perspective of an 8th grade student:Embarking on the Extraordinary: My Spellbinding Odyssey through the Harry Potter SeriesAs an avid reader and a wide-eyed 8th grader, the Harry Potter series has become an indelible part of my childhood – a literary world that has captured my imagination and my heart. J.K. Rowling's masterful storytelling has not only entertained me but has also imparted invaluable life lessons that will forever shape my journey. When I first stumbled upon the worn paperback of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" at my local library, I was instantly drawn to its enigmatic cover, emblazoned with the iconic lightning bolt scar. Little did I know that this unassuming book would ignite a passion within me that would burn brighter with every turning page. From the moment Harry received his acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, I found myself wholly immersed in a realm where magic and wonder coexistedseamlessly with the struggles of adolescence. Rowling's ability to weave intricate plotlines and unforgettable characters was nothing short of spellbinding.Harry, the unassuming hero, resonated with me on a profound level. His resilience in the face of adversity, his unwavering loyalty to his friends, and his relentless pursuit of justice struck a chord deep within my soul. Through his trials and triumphs, I learned the true meaning of courage – that it is not the absence of fear but the ability to confront it head-on.Alongside Harry, the indomitable Hermione Granger quickly became my literary role model. Her insatiable thirst for knowledge, her unwavering determination, and her fierce advocacy for equality inspired me to embrace my own intellectual curiosity and to never shy away from standing up for what is right. Hermione's character taught me that intelligence and compassion are not mutually exclusive – a lesson that will undoubtedly guide me through the challenges that lie ahead. And then there was Ron Weasley, the loyal friend whose wit and humor provided much-needed levity amidst the darkest of times. His unwavering support for Harry and Hermione reminded me of the invaluable bond of true friendship – a bond thattranscends all barriers and endures even the most arduous of trials. As I journeyed through each captivating installment, I found myself enthralled by the rich tapestry of characters that populated Rowling's wizarding world. From the enigmatic Albus Dumbledore, whose wisdom and guidance served as a beacon of hope, to the cunning and devious Draco Malfoy, whose actions taught me the perils of prejudice and the importance of empathy. But the Harry Potter series was not merely a tale of magical adventures; it was a profound exploration of the human condition, delving into themes of love, loss, and the eternal struggle between good and evil. Rowling's deft handling of these universal truths resonated with me on a visceral level, shaping my understanding of the complexities of life itself. As the final pages of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" drew to a close, I found myself simultaneously elated and heartbroken – elated at the triumph of love and friendship, but heartbroken at the thought of bidding farewell to characters who had become as dear to me as cherished friends.Yet, even as I closed the book, I realized that the magic of Harry Potter would forever remain etched within the pages of myheart. Rowling's words had ignited a passion for literature that would burn eternal, inspiring me to seek out new literary adventures and to embrace the transformative power of storytelling. In the years to come, I know that I will revisit the hallowed halls of Hogwarts time and again, each journey unveiling new insights and revelations. For within the pages of Harry Potter lies a timeless wisdom that transcends age and circumstance – a wisdom that will continue to guide me as I navigate the winding path of life.To J.K. Rowling, I owe a debt of gratitude that words can scarcely express. Her masterpiece has not only entertained me but has also shaped the very core of who I am. It has instilled within me a profound appreciation for the magic that exists in our ordinary lives, reminding me that heroism can be found in the most unexpected of places – even within the heart of an ordinary 8th grader. As I embark on the next chapter of my life's journey, the lessons I have gleaned from Harry Potter will forever serve as a guiding light, illuminating the path ahead with hope, courage, and an unwavering belief in the power of love and friendship to conquer even the darkest of adversities.篇3The Book That Changed My LifeYou know how some books just grab you from the first page and never let go? That's how I felt reading "The Universe in a Nutshell" by Stephen Hawking. I'll be honest, at first I thought a book about physics and space was going to be really boring. Boy, was I wrong! From the moment I read the first few pages describing black holes and how they warp the fabric of space and time, I was hooked. The way Professor Hawking explained these really complex ideas in simple terms that even an 8th grader like me could understand was just mind-blowing.I had no idea just how little we really know about the universe we live in. All the weird properties of quantum mechanics, like how particles can be in two places at once. Or ideas about there being multiple universes stacked side-by-side in higher dimensions we can't perceive. It's all incredibly far out!But Professor Hawking made it all make sense. Well, as much sense as that type of thing can make to someone who struggles with basic algebra sometimes. His passion for unraveling thedeepest mysteries of the cosmos really shines through on every page. What I loved most though, was how the book filled me with a profound sense of wonder about our universe. That we are lucky enough to live on this tiny speck of a planet in just one of billions of galaxies in the observable universe. And that's just what we can see from here! Who knows how much crazier it gets beyond that.It blew my mind to think that our human minds, which evolved to survive by picking berries and running from lions on the plains of Africa, are now able to contemplate the origins of the entire universe and its possible futures. Like, how amazing is that?I'll never look at the night sky the same way again. Every twinkling light I see isn't just a pretty brightness, but an ancient galaxy far, far away. And the spaces between those points of light aren't empty nothingness, but a boiling foam of quantum fields and ripples in space-time."The Universe in a Nutshell" taught me that no matter how small and insignificant we may seem, we are all literally made up of the same energy and fundamental particles as every galaxy, star, and planet. We are all one with the cosmos itself. Mind = blown.I've read the book like three times now, and each time I feel like I get a little bit closer to wrapping my head around the big questions it explores. Where did everything come from? What drove the incredible fine-tuning that allowed for stars, planets, and life to exist? What's going to become of it all in theultra-ultra-far future? So yeah, in my mind this book is an absolute must-read for anyone, but especially young people. Reading it as a kid will give you a huge head start in developing a cosmic perspective on our tiny slice of space and time. It's the kind of mind-expanding view that could literally change your life's path and how you dream about the future. After finishing this book, I know I'll never be satisfied until I've seen the birth of a galaxy with my own eyes. Or at least looked through a much bigger telescope! For now though, I'll just keep rereading and pondering the awesome mysteries it contains. The universe in a nutshell - who knew something so small could contain so much?篇4A Magical World of Words and AdventureReading has always been one of my favorite pastimes ever since I was a little kid. There's just something so captivating about being able to escape into new worlds and experience incredible adventures through the power of words on a page. The latest book I read really took me on an unforgettable journey that I can't stop thinking about. It's called "The Netherglade Chronicles" by Jessica Widebrook, and it's a fantasy novel about a young girl named Ellara who discovers she has magical abilities. At first, Ellara thinks the strange things happening around her are just coincidences. Like when she gets upset and somehow causes all the glasses in the kitchen to shatter without touching them. Or when she's nervous before a math test and her pencil starts writing the answers by itself! Her life takes an even crazier turn when a mysterious wizard named Zaron shows up and tells Ellara that she's not just an ordinary kid - she's actually a mythical Aethermancer with power over the unseen forces of magic. Zaron explains that the Netherglade is a secret magical realm existing in parallel to the normal world, and Ellara must come with him to train and masterher abilities before the evil Shadowren find and corrupt her magic for their nefarious plans. From that point on, I was completely hooked! Ellara gets whisked away to the Netherglade which is this dazzling place filled with wonder and danger at every turn. Jessica Widebrook's writing makes you feel like you're right there alongside Ellara, watching in awe as she attends the Academie of High Aethermancy and learns to harness her powers from the wise instructors. The worldbuilding is so richly imagined and vividly described. Like the majestic floating cities held aloft by ancient aetheric spells. Or the treacherous Wildmire region, a sentient festering marsh that tries to lure travelers to their doom. My favorite had to be the rumored existence of the Dragonmere, a fabled lake where real live dragons are said to still roam. I could go on and on gushing about all the creative magical elements woven into the story! What I loved most though were the intense action scenes and high-stakes feel of the novel. The Shadowren, led by their pitiless leader Vordrax, are constantly launching raids to try to capture Ellara due to her being a rare Aethermancer of unmatched potential power. This leads to some jaw-droppinglyepic showdowns between Ellara and her allies againstthe forces of darkness. The author has an amazing talent for penningfast-paced, heart-pounding battle sequences that had me holding my breath!By the end, I just didn't want it to be over. Ellara had grown so much as a character, bravely rising to every challenge thrown her way. Yet there was still so much unfinished business with new revelations that the Shadowren may have an even more diabolical scheme in play beyond just enslaving Ellara. Anawe-inspiring cliffhanger finale has me desperately waiting for the second book so I can venture back into the enthralling world of the Netherglade! For anyone who's a fan of fantasy and magic, I cannot recommend "The Netherglade Chronicles" enough. It's a guarantee you'll get swept up into its enchanting story from the very first page. Books like this are why I cherish reading so much - it unlocks portals to the most creative, imaginative realms limited only by an author's vision. I'm already counting down the days until the next installment!篇5A Magical Journey Through the WardrobeEver since I was a little kid, I've loved getting lost in the world of books. Each story is like a doorway to a new adventure, and one of my favorite adventures is "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis. This book has captured my heart and imagination in a way that few others have.It all starts when four siblings – Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy – are sent to live in an old mansion during World War II to escape the air raids in London. While exploring the house, Lucy stumbles upon an incredible discovery: a wardrobe that leads to the magical land of Narnia. At first, her siblings don't believe her, but soon they all find themselves in this enchanting world filled with talking animals, mythical creatures, and a tyrannical White Witch who has cursed Narnia into an eternal winter. One of the things I love most about this book is the way C.S. Lewis brings Narnia to life. His descriptions are so vivid and detailed that I can almost feel the crisp winter air on my face and hear the crunch of snow beneath my feet. From the majestic talking lion Aslan to the mischievous fauns and the brave centaurs, every character feels so real and alive. But what really draws me into the story is the journey the Pevensie children go through. They start out as ordinary kids, but as they navigate the perils of Narnia, they grow into courageousleaders and heroes. I find myself rooting for them every step of the way, feeling their triumphs and their struggles as if they were my own.One of my favorite moments is when Lucy first meets Mr. Tumnus, the faun, and learns about the White Witch's reign over Narnia. I can feel her sense of wonder and curiosity as she discovers this magical world, but also her fear and uncertainty about what lies ahead. It's a moment that perfectly captures the mix of excitement and apprehension that comes with embarking on a great adventure.Another moment that always gets me is the climactic battle between Aslan's forces and the White Witch's army. The tension is palpable, and I can't help but hold my breath as the brave Narnians fight for their freedom. And when Aslan ultimately triumphs over the White Witch, it's a moment of pure joy and triumph that never fails to give me goosebumps. But what I love most about this book is the deeper meaning behind the story. C.S. Lewis was a Christian, and many have interpreted the story as an allegory for the Christian faith, with Aslan representing Jesus Christ. While I'm not particularly religious, I can still appreciate the themes of sacrifice, redemption, and the triumph of good over evil.Overall, "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" is a timeless classic that has captured the hearts and imaginations of readers for generations. It's a story that reminds us of the power of courage, friendship, and hope in the face of adversity. And for me, it's a book that will always hold a special place in my heart, transporting me to a world of magic and wonder whenever I open its pages.篇6My Book Report: The Adventures of Tom SawyerI just finished reading the book The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain and I have to say, it was one wild ride! Tom Sawyer is this mischievous kid who lives in the fictional town of St. Petersburg, Missouri back in the 1840s. Right from the start, you can tell Tom is a handful - always getting into trouble and coming up with clever ways to get out of doing chores or going to school. One of the funniest parts was when Tom got trapped whitewashing the fence as punishment. But instead of just doing the work, he tricked all the other boys into thinking it was this super fun activity and they ended up doing most of the paintingfor him! Tom is just that kind of smooth-talking, smart aleck kid. You can't help but laugh at the clever schemes he cooks up.The adventure really takes off when Tom and his friend Huckleberry Finn witness a murder in the graveyard at night. From there, they accidentally get caught up with these criminals who stole a bunch of money and are on the run. There's all these crazy twists and turns - like when Tom and Huck get trapped in this abandoned house with the crooks or when they run away and end up floating down the Mississippi River on a little raft. But as fun and exciting as all the mystery and danger is, I think my favorite parts were just the simple, everyday moments of Tom's life back in St. Petersburg. Things like going swimming with his friends, getting conned into whitewashing that fence, or pulling pranks on others in town. Twain has this great way of bringing that small-town America of the 1800s alive through Tom's eyes. You can picture that sleepy little village on the riverbank, where kids have all the time in the world to fish and explore and stir up harmless mischief.I also really enjoyed the interactions between Tom and Becky Thatcher, this girl he has a huge crush on. One minute he's picking on her and trying to act all tough, but the next he's stumbling over his words whenever she's around. We've all beenthere before, getting flustered around our crush! Tom definitely doesn't make things easy for himself when he gets himself and Becky lost in this creepy cave for days after wandering off during a picnic. But his loyalty and bravery in that situation to keep Becky safe was really admirable. As fun and lighthearted as the story could be though, it also tackled some heavier issues too. Like when Tom gets involved with freeing Jim, the enslaved man running away to find his family. It highlights how messed up and cruel slavery was during that time period. There's this one solemn scene after a steamboat hits their little raft that's both sad and powerful as Jim has this emotional reunion with his wife and children after years of being separated. Those sections were a good reminder that life wasn't all just carefree adventures for everyone back then. All in all, I thought The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was a rollicking good read that transported me to this vividly-drawn world of small-town America in the 1800s. Tom is such a mischievous but well-meaning character that you can't help but root for as he gets into one jaw-dropping scenario after another. The book perfectly captures both the imagination and innocence of childhood with its timeless adventures and pranks, while also touching on some of the darker realities of that era too. I'd highlyrecommend it to anyone looking for an entertaining and thought-provoking classic! Two thumbs up from me.。

八年级英语西游记读后感英文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Journey to the West", also known as "Monkey King" in English, is a classic Chinese novel written by Wu Cheng'en in the 16th century. The novel is based on the legendary journey of the monk Xuanzang to India in search of Buddhist scriptures, accompanied by his three disciples: Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing. After reading "Journey to the West", I was deeply impressed by the rich cultural and philosophical themes explored in the novel. The story is not only an epic adventure filled with mythical creatures and magic, but also a profound commentary on the nature of human desire, the importance of self-discipline, and the power of friendship. One of the most striking aspects of the novel is the character of Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King. Sun Wukong is a mischievous and powerful monkey who possesses incredible strength and magical abilities. However, despite his skill and bravado, Sun Wukong is plagued by a deep sense of lonelinessand insecurity, which ultimately leads to his downfall. Through Sun Wukong's character, the novel explores the pitfalls of arrogance and the need for humility and self-control.Another central theme of the novel is the concept of redemption and forgiveness. Throughout their journey, Xuanzang and his disciples face numerous challenges and temptations, but they always strive to overcome their weaknesses and learn from their mistakes. This message of personal growth and transformation is a powerful reminder of the importance of perseverance and compassion in the face of adversity.Overall, "Journey to the West" is a timeless classic that continues to resonate with readers around the world. Its universal themes of friendship, loyalty, and the quest for spiritual enlightenment make it a must-read for all ages. I highly recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys epic adventures, mythical creatures, and thought-provoking philosophical insights.篇2After reading the "Journey to the West" in English, I was captivated by the adventures and characters in this classicChinese novel. This epic tale, written by Wu Cheng'en, tells the story of the Buddhist monk Tripitaka and his journey to India to obtain sacred Buddhist scriptures. Accompanied by his disciples, the Monkey King Sun Wukong, the pig demon Zhu Bajie, and the river ogre Sha Wujing, Tripitaka faces numerous challenges and obstacles on his quest for enlightenment. The character that stood out to me the most was Sun Wukong, also known as Monkey King. He is a mischievous and powerful immortal who causes chaos in Heaven before being subdued by the Buddha. However, he is later released to accompany Tripitaka on his journey. Sun Wukong is a complex character, displaying both great loyalty to Tripitaka and a rebellious nature that often gets him into trouble. His transformation abilities and magical weapon, the Ruyi Jingu Bang, make him a formidable ally in facing the demons and monsters they encounter.Another memorable character is Zhu Bajie, a gluttonous pig demon who was once a heavenly marshal banished to earth for his misdeeds. Despite his crude personality and constant desire for food and drink, Zhu Bajie proves to be a brave and loyal companion to Tripitaka. His strength in battle and ability to think creatively help the group navigate dangerous situations. The journey itself is fraught with challenges, from treacherous demons to devious spirits trying to hinder Tripitaka's progress. Along the way, the group learns valuable lessons about perseverance, compassion, and the true meaning of friendship. Despite the many hardships they face, Tripitaka and his disciples never lose sight of their goal and continue on their path with unwavering determination. One of the themes that resonated with me while reading "Journey to the West" is the idea of personal growth and transformation. Each of the characters undergoes a journey of self-discovery and redemption, learning from their mistakes and striving to become better individuals. Sun Wukong, in particular, learns humility and self-control through his interactions with Tripitaka and the challenges they face together.Overall, "Journey to the West" is a timeless classic that combines elements of adventure, fantasy, and moral lessons. It is a story of friendship, courage, and the power of perseverance in the face of adversity. The characters and their adventures will stay with me long after reading this epic tale, reminding me of the importance of faith and friendship in overcoming obstacles and achieving one's goals.篇3Journey to the West is a Chinese classic novel that tells the story of the monk, Xuanzang, and his three disciples, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajie, and Sha Wujing, as they embark on a journey to India to retrieve Buddhist scriptures. As an eighth-grader, I recently read this novel and it left a deep impression on me.One of the things that struck me the most about Journey to the West is the themes of loyalty and friendship that run throughout the novel. Despite their differences and occasional disagreements, the four main characters stick together and support each other on their journey. This reminded me of the importance of friendship and staying loyal to those who are important to you.Another aspect of the novel that I found fascinating was the character development of the main characters, especially Sun Wukong. At the beginning of the story, Sun Wukong is mischievous and rebellious, but through the journey, he learns valuable lessons about humility and responsibility. This made me realize that people can change and grow, even if they start off on the wrong path.Additionally, Journey to the West is filled with exciting adventures and fantastical creatures, such as demons and gods. These elements of the story kept me engaged and entertainedthroughout the novel. It was thrilling to read about the challenges the characters faced and how they used their strengths and abilities to overcome them.Overall, Journey to the West is a timeless classic that has stood the test of time. Its themes of loyalty, friendship, and personal growth are still relevant today, and the adventures of Xuanzang and his disciples continue to captivate readers of all ages. It's called "The Giver" and it's about this boy named Jonas who lives in a society where everything is controlled and people don't have any choices.I really liked how the author, Lois Lowry, described the world that Jonas lives in. It made me think about how lucky I am to have freedom and choice in my life. Jonas starts to learn about the truth behind his society and he has to make some tough decisions. One of the things I found really interesting was the idea of memories and how important they are. In Jonas' world, people don't have memories of the past, so they don't know what it's like to feel things like love, pain, or happiness. It made me appreciate all the memories I have and how they make me who I am.The ending of the book was so surprising and it made me think about what it means to truly be happy. I won't spoil it for you, but let me just say that it was a real eye-opener.Overall, I really enjoyed reading "The Giver" and it made me think about a lot of things. The characters were so real and relatable, and I felt like I could really connect with them. Hazel and Gus had a special bond that was so sweet and genuine. I cried so many times while reading this book, but I also laughed and smiled a lot too.One of the things I learned from this book is that life is precious and we should cherish every moment we have. Hazel and Gus both had cancer, but they didn't let it define them. Theylived their lives to the fullest and didn't let their illness hold them back. It was really inspiring to see how strong and brave they were.Overall, "The Fault in Our Stars" is a beautiful and heartbreaking book that will stay with me forever. It's super cool and magical, just like Hogwarts!First of all, I really liked how the author, J.K. Rowling, described all the different magical creatures and spells. It made me feel like I was right there with Harry, Ron, and Hermione as they went on their adventures. I especially loved the part when they played Quidditch – it sounds like such a fun game!Another thing I enjoyed was how the book showed the importance of friendship and bravery. Harry, Ron, and Hermione stuck together through thick and thin, and they always had eachother's backs. It made me realize how important it is to have good friends who support you.But the best part of the book for me was when Harry faced Voldemort at the end. It was so intense and exciting, and it showed how strong and courageous Harry is. It taught me that no matter how scary things might be, I should always stand up for what is right.Overall, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" is a fantastic book that I would recommend to everyone. The book I read is called "The Giver" by Lois Lowry.First of all, let me tell you that this book is not like any other book I have read before. How crazy is that? The main character is a boy named Jonas who is chosen to be the Receiver of Memories. He starts to learn about the past and all the things that have been taken away from his society. It's like he's waking up from a dream and realizing there's a whole other world out there.Reading this book made me think about how important it is to have freedom and make our own choices.
