学生情况分析：本节课的教学对象为初二年学生，学生活泼好动，表现欲强。

经过一年多的英语学习，他们已经储备了一定的词汇量，具备一定的阅读理解能力。

但初二下学期开始出现两极分化的现象，有一部分学生在英语学习上比较吃力，因此对英语开始失去兴趣，对阅读，特别是写作存在一定的恐惧。
