Students should not only have a high speed of reading but also have a correct understanding of details. 英语学科教学设计(1)教学内容分析(2)课堂教学过程设计略读,找出文章主旨大意(5--10 min) (1)播放课文录音。
(2)教师让学生采用略读的技巧,快速找出文章的主旨大意,以填空题的形式呈现。
T:“Read the text quicklyand grasp the main idea of the text.”(1)合上课本,听课文录音;(2)学生快速的略读完全文,并集体完成空格的填写。
Textbook&PPT首先让学生听课文录音,帮助学生对要学习的内容有一个大致的了解,同时也锻炼了学生的听力水平。
在此基础上再训练学生的快速阅读技能。
教师通过让学生通读全文,弄清楚文章的主旨大意,有利于学生对本文有一个整体的把握同时,也训练了学生快速阅读的能力。
填空的形式更易于学生完成任务。
寻读,理清文章脉络和主要细节(10--14mi n) (1)教师让学生采用寻读的方式了解Daisy的三次行程和经历,并填写表格。

个人活动与分工协作相互融合,提高了学生的阅读效率。
细读,处理每段细节(14--24mi n) .仔细阅读环节,教师设计了三个任务。
(1)找出每一段的主旨大意和支持性细节。
主要是是针对每段的Mainidea, animal, situation及result展开。
(2)填写横线处的内容,了解Antelope,elephant和monkey的生存现状及Daisy的不同感受。
(3)完成四道单项选择题,理解文章重要信息。
(1)学生被分成三大组,每组学生负责一项任务,组员间相互讨论,再找四位代表分别阐述观点。
(2)学生集体回答。
(3)找学生单个回答,并解释原因。
Textbook&PPT该环节旨在精读文章,了解各部分的细节。
目的是排除干扰,迅速有效地找到文章中的某些特定信息,并进行加工整合。
同时,让学生带着目的去阅读,有利于提高学生的阅读能力。
活动形式多样,能调动学生的积极性,提高课堂教学效率。
角色扮演,再现情景(24—34mi n) 在理清文章的主要脉络和思想后,教师将全班分成三大组,组织学生进行一场角色扮演的游戏。
T:“Each group makes a dialoguebetween Daisy and the antelope ,theelephant or the monkey, then act out.”每组选出两个代表,进行角色饰演。
最后评选出表现最出色的一组。
全班被分为三大组,每一大组内又以两人为单位进行操练,学生间合作交流的积极性非常高。
操练时间结束后,每组选出代表,要求脱离课本进行对话。
Role-play这个游戏可以给学生充分的想象去扮演自己所喜欢角色,因此能激发学生的参与积极性。
该活动也有利于学生对课文内容的进一步理解和巩固,实现了知识的活学活用。
(3)教学设计说明●理论指导新课程标准要求课堂教学要尽可能把时间还给学生,自主探索与合作交流是学生学习英语的重要方式。
在课堂教学中,教师的基本任务是“导”,即教师提出问题,起到组织和引导作用。
学生通过独立思考及相互讨论的方式来认识问题、解决问题、理解和掌握基本的英语知识和基本技能。
因此,在现代高中英语教学中,我们必须要遵循“以学生为主体,教师为主导,培养学生创新能力”的理念,即让学生在教学活动中发挥其主体地位,在教师的引导下去发现、分析和解决问题。
●学习任务分析本节课内容选自人教版高中英语必修二,Unit 4 Wildlife Protection的阅读部分How Daisy learned to help wildlife。
本单元的中心话题是野生动物保护,阅读课是这一单元教学的重要环节,通过lead-in, pre-reading, while-reading,和post-reading这四个环节,使学生了解濒危野生动物的生存现状,学会如何保护野生动物,从而产生保护野生动物的意识。
整单元的听、说、读、写语言技能及语言知识学习,都是围绕阅读主题Wildlife protection展开的,因此本节课在单元教学中占有重要地位。
本课的阅读部分,通过小女孩Daisy和野生动物之间的对话这种形式,使学生进一步意识到野生动物的生存环境不容乐观以及保护野生动物的重要性和紧迫性。
通过对这篇文章的学习,旨在使学生掌握保护野生动物的相关知识,树立保护动物的责任心和使命感。
同时,还有培养学生听、说、读、写等方面的综合技能。
本节课需要一课时的时间。
●学法分析本课贯彻新课标以学生为主体及学以致用的指导思想,提倡自主、合作、探究的学习方式,通过引导、点拨,让学生运用各种阅读技巧预测课文内容和获取相关信息;对难点的突破主要是以启发引导的方式,让学生展开积极的讨论,自己去分析,去感悟,去探究问题的解决方案,活学活用,最后由教师补充点拨归纳,从而提高学生听、说、读、写的综合能力。
我主要采取以下几种方法指导学生学习。
首先是自主学习法。
课前引导学生思考与野生动物有关的一些问题,从而达到学生自主参与学习的目的。
其次是猜测法。
通过文章标题,预测文章的主要内容。
再次是阅读法。
在阅读过程中,指导学生通过略读、寻读、细读等方式完成相关的阅读任务,实现阅读技能的培养和训练。
最后是合作法。
课堂讨论及角色扮演活动以小组活动的形式进行,以培养学生的合作能力及合作精神,从而激发学生的学习兴趣和热情,提高学生综合运用语言的能力。
●学习者分析绝大多数学生对动物这一话题很感兴趣,并且对和野生动物的相关的词汇有一定的知识储备,因此本课内容能引起学生的阅读兴趣。
同时,高中生具备很强的社会责任感和责任心,对于发生在身边的动物灭绝的问题,乐于进行讨论,发表自己的见解,并提出相应的解决措施。
同时,考虑到高一学生有着充分的积极性和活跃性,对野生动物保护这一话题感兴趣,主动性强,活动参与度高。
因此在教学过程中,教师采用小组讨论和角色扮演的方式,充分调动他们的学习激情,让他们参与到课堂教学活动中来,真正实现以学生为中心的教学理念。
但是,高一的学生由于刚刚进入高中,只是拥有基本的语言知识,他们的阅读方法和阅读技巧,特别是分析文章结构、归纳段落大意以及筛选重要信息的能力还有待提高。
因此,教师在课堂上要有意识的指导学生运用一定的阅读技能完成相关任务,必要时可对学生进行点拨和提示,帮助他们完成规定的任务。
●教学方法设计根据学生学习的实际情况确定教学活动的难度,即因材施教,是新课程理念下对英语教学最基本的要求。
为突出重难点,以达到预定的教学目标,我采用了“导、读、练、说”的整体课文阅读教学法,即在老师的引导下,学生的自主阅读和训练。
从而激发学生兴趣,主动学习,学有所获。
我采用如下教学方法:i.直观教学法在课前热身阶段,我采用简笔画的方式为学生呈现了一只表情悲伤的熊猫,以此为切入点让学生思考熊猫忧伤的原因,从而过渡到濒危动物这一话题。
随后,我利用多媒体这种直观的手段,为学生呈现了其他濒危动物的图片及他们濒临灭亡的原因,形象生动,有利于学生的理解和接受。
通过一系列的图片引出本课的主题后,并用提问、启发、分析、归纳相结合的教学方法。
ii.情境教学法在课堂的热身部分,我利用简笔画的方式,为学生营造了一个熊猫濒临灭绝的氛围,让学生思考熊猫表情忧伤的原因,从而巧妙的过度到了本课的中心——濒临灭绝的野生动物。
同时,又呈现了与濒危野生动物灭亡相关的图片,触目惊心,让学生充分意识到保护濒危野生动物刻不容缓。
在课堂的读后阶段,我又组织引导学生进行角色扮演,将全班分成三组,每组负责Daisy与藏羚羊、非洲大象及猴子的对话,让学生充分回归到真实的情境中,更加深了学生对课文内容的理解,提高了学生的学习积极性和参与度,同时也锻炼了他们的口语表达能力和合作能力。
讨论环节,我让学生将自己想象成WWF的工作人员,面对Daisy回来后的描述,思考该如何采取具体的保护野生动物的措施,这一问题可以说是课文内容的延伸,既树立了学生的责任意识和使命感,也训练了他们活用知识的能力。
iii.任务型教学法我在课堂上设置了不同类型的任务,采用多样化的形式引导学生来完成:个别回答、小组回答、集体回答、小组讨论、男女分工等,以发挥学生的主动性和主体性。
我给学生设计了读前任务:为什么现在越来越多的野生动物濒临灭绝的边缘?从而让学生明白保护野生动物的重要性。
读中任务:课文大意、段落大意及重要信息点的理解和掌握。
采用快速阅读和仔细阅读的方式,引导学生综合运用各种阅读技巧来完成读中任务,从而实现对本文的全面理解。
读后任务:角色扮演及讨论。
根据阅读中所出现的角色Daisy、藏羚羊、非洲象及猴子,将全班分成三大组,每组选派代表扮演,进行对话;讨论环节,要求学生在小组内讨论,最后选出一位男生代表和女生代表分别陈述自己的观点。
课后任务:让学生通过多种渠道获取更多关于濒危动物及如何保护野生动物的信息。
iv.合作学习教学法课堂的读前、读中、读后环节,我都采用了让学生讨论交流的学习模式。
课前的热身部分,我让学生思考探究濒危动物数量减少的原因;在课上,我设置了不同类型的任务,将全班分成三大组,各小组分工协作,共同完成;课后,我又设计了两个活动——角色扮演和讨论。
这两项任务灵活开放,更需要学生间的充分合作、交流、探讨和配合。
●管理策略设计本课在教学过程中,经常性地使用小组讨论的方式,课堂气氛因而被调动起来。
但是,这种方式可能会给教学秩序造成一定的干扰。
比如,学生在讨论的过程中,由于气氛激烈,从而会影响到课堂教学秩序;部分同学在课堂讨论中,很少参与进去,或者有些小组只是口头上的交流,缺乏要点的记录工作等等。
这些都会在一定程度上影响教学的效率和进程。
为此,教师一定要及时控制教学过程。
在安排学生完成有关的阅读任务时,也一定要让全班保持安静,并且严格限制学生的答题时间;当学生讨论场面过激时,要及时提醒;对于学生的讨论及角色扮演活动,要有时间限制;同时,在学生交流讨论的过程中,要经常性的在小组内走动,鼓励每一位同学都发言,并且让他们做好记录工作,实现小组讨论的价值和效果;●媒体设计策略本课需要使用PPT,完成课文的导入和激活学生原有知识的工作。
