二年级英语小故事

一天.有只小猴子在井边玩儿.

He looks in the well and shouts :“Oh!My god!The moon has fallen into the well!”

它往井里一瞧.高喊道；“噢！我的天！月亮掉到井里头啦！”

An older monkeys runs over, takes a look,and says,“Goodness me!The moon is really in the water!”

一只大猴子跑来一看.说.“糟啦！月亮掉在井里头啦！”

And olderly

老猴子也跑过来.

He is very surprised as well and cries out:“The moon is in the well.”

它也非常惊奇.喊道；“糟了.月亮掉在井里头了！”

A group of monkeys run over to the well.

一群猴子跑到井边来.

They look at the moon in the well and shout:“The moon did fall into the on!Let’get it out!”

它们看到井里的月亮.喊道；“月亮掉在井里头啦！快来！让我们把它捞起来！”

Then,the oldest monkey hangs on the tree up side down ,with his feet on the branch.

然后.老猴子倒挂在大树上.

And he pulls the next monkey’s feet with his hands.

它用手抓住下一只猴子的脚.

All the other monkeys follow his suit.

其他的猴子一个个跟着.

And they join each other one by one down to the moon in the well.

它们一只连着一只直到井里.

Just before they reach the moon,the oldest monkey raises his head and happens to see the moon in the sky.

正好他们摸到月亮的时候.老猴子抬头发现月亮挂在天上呢.

He yells excitedly“Don’t be so foolish!The moon is still in the sky!”

它兴奋地大叫；“别蠢了！月亮还好好地挂在天上呢！”

My name is Jenny. I have nine little goldfish.

我的名字叫珍妮.我有九条小金鱼.

Eight goldfish are all orange and one is black.

八条金鱼都是桔黄色的.只有一条是黑的.

I like the black one best. We call it Xiao Hei.

我最喜欢那条黑的.我们叫它小黑.

Its body is black.

它全身都是黑色的.

It has two big and round eyes, a small mouth, and a big tail.

它有两只又大又圆的眼睛.一张小嘴和一条大尾巴.

Though it＇s very small, it swims fast.

尽管它非常小.但它却游得很快.

I often feed them and change water for them.

我常常去喂它们.给它们换水.

We are good friends.

我们是好朋友.

The Two Bags

Every man carries Two Bags about with him, one in front and one behind, and both are packed full of faults. The Bag in front contains his neighbours’ faults, the one behind his own. Hence it is that men do not see their own faults, but never fail to see those of others.

Thirsty Crow

The crow and the pitcher A crow felt very thirsty. He looked for water everywhere. Finally, he found a pitcher. But there was not a lot of water in the pitcher. His beak could not reach it. He tried again and again, but still could not touch the water. When he was about to give up, an idea came to him. He took a pebble and dropped it into the pitcher. Then he took another and dropped it in. Gradually, the water rose, and the crow was able to drink the water.

一只乌鸦口渴了.到处找水喝.终于.他找到了一个大水罐.然而.水罐里面的水并不多.他的尖嘴够不到水面.他试了一次又一次.都没有成功.就在他想放弃的时候.他突然想到一个主意.乌鸦叼来了一块小石子投到水罐里.接着又叼了一块又一块石头放进去.渐渐地.水面升高了.乌鸦高兴地喝到了水.

Fox and the Grapes

One hot summer day a fox was walking through an orchard. He stopped before a bunch of grapes. They were ripe and juicy.

"I'm just feeling thirsty," he thought. So he backed up a few paces, got a running start, jumped up, but could not reach the grapes.

He walked back. One, two, three, he jumped up again, but still, he missed the grapes.

The fox tried again and again, but never succeeded. At last he decided to give it up.
