Unit4 What Do You Do on Saturday 教学内容与目标【内容来源】陕旅教育出版社四年级下册Unit4【单元总目标】本单元的话题以学生的日常生活展开，在复习四年级上册Unit 7 It’s Tuesday 中星期和基本日常活动表达的基础上，继续学习如何谈论日常活动安排。
使学生通过对功能结构What do / does ... do on Saturday? I/He/She often + 动词短语.和Do you / Does your ... often + 动词短语on Saturday? Yes, ... / No, ...的学习，学会用英语谈论日常活动安排，掌握一般现在时态的句子结构，理解一般现在时态的含义，并能够在日常生活中运用所学的词汇和句型自由交流。
本单元的难点是在般现在时态中，主语为单数第三人称时，动词形式的变化。
本单元的教学分为4个课时。
第一个课时以Part A中Let’s learn部分的词汇教学为主，在四年级上册Unit 4 When Do You Have Classes?和Unit 8 Boys Like to Play Ball以及本册Unit 2 I’m Cooking in the Kitchen所学动词及词组的基础上，继续学习有关日常活动的词汇；第二课时以Part A中Let’s talk部分的对话教学为主，在复习词汇的基础上重点学习如何询问他人的日常活动安排以及如何表达自己的日常活动安排。
难点是对频度副词often的理解和运用以及动词的第三人称单数形式的变化，即在动词的词尾加-s或-es的变化和运用。
通过对会话的学习，巩固和运用第一课时所学的词汇；第三课时以Part B中的Let’s learn more 为主，拓展学习一般现在时态的一般疑问句及其答语：Do you / Does ... often +动词短语on Saturday? Yes, ... / No, ... 难点是对频度副词sometimes的理解和应用及一般疑问句的构成；第四课时则通过Part B Read a story启发学生思考，引导学生学习合理安排课余时间，不能像故事中男孩那样只注重学习而忽视了锻炼身休。

活动1【讲授】What Do You Do on Saturday
教学过程:
一、课程导入
1、课前复习
教师带领学生复习之前所学有关动作的词汇:get up, have a
class, have lunch, playgames, watch TV, go to bed, run, swim,
dance, jump rope, play basketball, sing songs。
教师做动作,学生猜:
T:(教师做游泳状) Hello, boys and girls! Look at me.Guess!
What am I doing?

教师请猜对的学生上台做动作,台下学生猜。
本单元的Warming-up的第一部分Read and tick, 教师可先
通过问答让学生理解活动的内容:
T: Boys and girls, we have classes from Monday to Friday.
But after class, I like toswim. I like to watch TV. What do you
like to do after class?
S1:I like to sing and dance.
S2:I like to listen to music, play basketball and draw pictures.
同桌间互相问答并完成本活动。
2、新课导入
T:You like to jump rope. What do I like to do? Do you know?
S1:Do you like to swim?
T: No, I don’t.
S2:Do you like to read a book?
T: No, I don’t.
二、新课展示
1、Part A Let’s learn
(1) 教授短语fly a kite.
教师承接新课导入部分,结合课件动画图揭晓答案:
T:I like to fly a kite.
在学生直观理解短语的意思之后板书该短语,要求学生拼读
拼写。
(2) 教授短语 play football.
教师出示踢足球的课件动画,并呈现短语:
T: I like to play football.
教师可采用上述方式,借助课件图片和动画继续教授短语do
exercise, see a film,do some washing, climb the mountain及do
one’s homework。
巩固活动的设计与实施

1、谁的反应快
(1)教师随机说短语,让学生听口令做出反应。
(2)学生两人一组进行练习,一人说短语,另一人听口令快速
做出反应。
2、猜一猜
教师请一位学生上台,悄悄告诉他本节课所学的一个新短
语,其他学生猜是什么,猜对的学生可上台替换台上的学生,
继续游戏。如:
T:(教师让学生S1上台并耳语) see a film.
S2:Do some washing?
S1:No.
S3:Do exercise?
S1:No.
S4: see a film?
S1:Yes, You are right!
教师可规定台下学生猜的次数,如果次数内学生猜不出来,
那么由台上学生公布答案,并指定一名同学上台继续游戏。
3、写一写
学生一边拼读一边拼写,书写本节课所学短语。
