奥克兰理工大学建成于1895年,原名为奥克兰理工学院(Auckland Institute of Technology),简
称(AIT),于2000年被新西兰政府正式批准升为大学,从而成为新西兰八所公立大学之一。

学校建成于1895年,原名为奥克兰理工学院(AIT),学校分3个校区:分别位于奥克兰市中心的威
尔莱斯利路,位于奥克兰市北部海滨的阿克兰格,奥克兰西区的马努卡。阿克兰格距市中心仅10公里,三
所分校之间有大巴车接送学生,每20分钟一班。奥克兰理工大学现有在校学生3多万人,其中留学生约
