小学英语单元整体教学的设计与思考——以译林英语五上Unit4 Hobbies为例摘要:小学英语单元整体教学,其根本宗旨在于学生核心素养的提升。
因此,我们在单元整体教学设计时,需要深入挖掘教材内容,融合资源,灵活处理,从宏观角度确定单元整体目标。
在总目标的引领下,再从微观角度确定课时目标,基于教材、基于学情,设计多元目标的教学任务,着眼于学生思维能力、学习能力的培养,从而真正提高学生学科核心素养。
关键词:小学英语;单元整体小学英语单元整体教学是从学习者的学情实际出发,结合教材内容以及课程标准的培养目标,以单元为教学单位,围绕相关主题对教学内容进行重组与整合,创造性地完成教学活动的过程。
教师需要深度挖掘单元内容主线,确定本单元的总教学目标,把握教学重难点,合理科学划分课时教学内容,以提高课堂教学效率,着眼学生核心素养的提升。
《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版)》提出教学过程中应整体确定目标,充分考虑语言学习的渐进性和持续性。
教学前,教师要理清单元教学内容的脉络和层次;教学中,教师要兼顾总体教学目标和分课时目标之间的延续性、层次性及关联性。
同时,教师在进行单元整体教学时不仅要注意同一个单元内容之间的整体性和一致性,而且要注意单元与单元之间的整体关联性。
与之前使用的教材相比,译林版教材主题更加明确,板块功能更加凸显,教学内容更加关注整体性。
作为单元的核心板块,教师往往会将目光聚焦于storytime板块的设计,而对于其他板块的处理则是浮光掠影,一带而过。
各个板块生搬硬套凑在一起,有时会忽略板块间内在的关联性,甚至只关注板块显于表层的知识内容,忽略了背后教材编写的意图。
这样不仅割裂了单元教学内容之间的完整性,还会造成学生对语言知识理解的碎片化,从而导致语言输出的低效化。
因此,单元整体教学直接关系到学生综合语言运用能力的发展与提升,在日常教学中,我们应该着眼于以下方面:一、以“文本”为载体,厘清脉络结构,确定单元教学目标纵观译林英语教材,每个单元都有明确的主题,各板块都围绕单元话题展开,在单元教学中发挥各自不同的作用。
