Human nature can conquer? No, summer 2004 opening large - 《acquired》 givenus a loud and affirmative answer to the question. This terrible disaster films told us an irrefutable truth - always dominate the natural person."Acquired" the film depicts the United States as a representative of the Earth within one day suddenly nose-dive into glacial science fiction stories. In the story, climate scientists Jack.Hall observed in the study pointed out that prehistoric climate, the greenhouse effect brought about by global warming could trigger an unprecedented global catastrophe.Mainly refer to the destruction of the beautiful human nature, but by the serious nature of the punishment.Lightning、hail storm、tornado、hurricane、floods caused by global warming, such as the melting of Antarctic ice disaster befall humans, before human consciousness to know repentance may have been too late.In an instant because of the disaster emerged, floods, in the eyes; hail, in the eyes; all in the eyes of force majeure.Entry into the Earths greenhouse effect will glaciation.Tornado、earthquake tsunami、…… So you ask that the name will bee a natural part of human life.In the film, you can see New York City inundated lens: the confusion of the crowd the air vehicle broken glass, followed by the floor, as high waves… you can see in theseaside holiday resort in Hawaii hit by the hurricane scene. This is the destruction of the natural consequences, and this is the punishment of mankind. For thousands of years, continually engulfed in the natural human body, should now enjoy nature of the pernicious consequences of brewing.电影的英语作文 5All of us must allocate 24 hours a day to our work and personal life.Work and family don’t “balance” automatically.Andy got her new job in Runway fashion magazine. And her personal life was begun to be hanged by a thread because of her busy work. Her boss Miranda was famous for being unpredictable and perfectionist.Andy was Miranda’s second assistant. She must complete nearly impossible tasks with constant trepidation of Miranda’s wrath and be Miranda’s beck and call 24/7.Andy worked hard and got promotion then. But in order to complete her work, she neglected her lover, her friends and her families. She almost lost her boyfriend Nate.Luckily, she found that friends and families are more important than my job before everything was too late to retrieve. So, she quitted the job restart with families and friends’ support.I think Andy did right choice at last, because families and friends are more important than work.Though we try to balance work and family, we have to admit that imbalance is sometimes inevitable. We can balance the two by arranging our time reasonably and working effectively. Also,we should talk to our families and friends often, trying for their understanding and support. Finally, we need to realize that we work hard for better lives. But without families and friends, we won’t be happy anymore, and nobody can share our success.电影的英语作文 6On national day, with the recommendation of my teachers and the guidance of my parents, I came down to the starry sky cinema in Times Square to watch Changjin lake.I looked eXcited before watching.I still have half an hour to see! Half an hour later, the film began.I saw and understood the origin of the changjianghu war.One is that North Korea fought with the United States to help South Korea launch a comprehensive war of aggression against North Korea.Because of the urgency and the threat to the newly born new China, we had to launch a war to resist US aggression and aid Korea, which hit changjianghu.Watching, I felt my blood boiling. After watching, I think the most meaningful sentence inside is "if an egg is knockedfrom the outside, it is doomed to be eaten. If it is pecked from the inside, it may be an eagle." yes, its up to you to choose whether you are the food eaten by the eagle or the eagle eating the food! The war to resist US aggression and aid Korea not only laid a foundation for the development and prosperity of new China, but also won time for the growth of new China.电影的英语作文 7This winter, I read the book of Robinson Crusoe, their captors.Article describes multiple sailing in the whole island,Crusoe masters of eXtraordinary survival 28 years eXperience, strive for survival, show the ingenuity and a man with indomitable perseverance in the face of hardship persistent eXistence desire, the lonely and eager to rescue the mood.In a lonely island overcome Robinson was done with fear,a savage and said he was "on Friday, they get along with each other, then built on Friday,Crusoe one kind of warm friendship."I also enjoy the disclosure of the business concept: Crusoe each sailing and adventure has clear commercial purpose, with his own property and calculating profit, he will also oneselflife the island is his territory, in addition to reveal its economic thought, I admire John Robinsons rich, more learning his strong initiative and spirit of adventure, early efforts, hard work, and perfect kindness thought!电影的英语作文 8A battle with no return; A group of soldiers who share life and death; An assembly number that has not sounded; An officer who lost his identity but never gave up.When these are combined together, everyone should understand what kind of movie this is.Yes, this is the war blockbuster directed by Xiaogang Feng-"Assembly"When it comes to Assembly, it is really the best war film in China so far.It doesnt have the traditional heroic technique of war films, describing how great a hero is, but it restores the ruthlessness and absurdity of war. When I saw the first half,I didnt feel very good about it, because it was too bloody and cruel, and I thought that the two-hour story was always such a terrible war scene.Later, when the company commander Gu Zidi lost his brother, lost his identity and still stubbornly searched for his former troops, I was moved.I believe you must be moved by the people who have seen this film.Although he has gone through a lot of hardships, he has finally achieved his goal of self-glorifying his dead brothers and seeking justice for them. This war blockbuster does not praise Gu Zidis strong and stubborn character and his loyalty to his friends, but we all admire Gu Zidi, which may be the success of this film.电影的英语作文 9Today, I read "home alone" with deep feeling. The main is about a little boy.Christmas is coming soon, the little boy is always making trouble. Therefore, his parents go to Paris on vacation, but forget the little boy at home. Two thieves found that adults do not have at home, like took the opportunity to steal things. But the little boy is very clever, through a lot of props and finally caught the thief. His parents came back hugged their children. From then on, the boy became all learning goals. After learning he danger can protect themselves etc.!电影的英语作文 10My favorite movie is Love Me Once More,Mom.This is a moving story about a mother and her son.The son was lost one day and the mother was so worried that she looked for him everywhere, but she couldnt find him.She was very sad and almost went mad.In the end,the son found his mother .But they dont know each other.I cried when I saw the movie. All people say it is so moving. The mother is so good and the son is so lovely.I like th e little boy.He makes me strong.I like it very much.It is my favorite.电影的英语作文 11ET is Steven Spielberg’s classic for both children and adults. It is about a story that a creature, ET, is mistakenly left behind on the earth and wants to go back to his home.A boy called Elliott, acted by Henry Thomas, hides him in his house to protect ET from the cold world of grown-ups.They become good friends and are so close that they share sorrows and happiness. At last, Elliott and his friends decide to go on an adventure trying to help ET find the way back to his planet. The film is beautiful and moving. It shows us that friendship and love are the most important things in life.电影的英语作文 12See a filmI have been so busy with study since I became a high school student that I hardly have any opportunity to go to the movies.Indeed, movies have ceased to interest st night, however, an idea came to me that perhaps going to a movie would help relaX my tense mind.So I went.It was a very funny comedy. Most of the audience, including myself, didnt stop laughing from the beginning to the end.The picture really relaXed me.I was able to study more effectively. The movie gave me one eXtra lesson: play is as important as work.电影的英语作文 13I like to watch movies so much.Since I was very small, I have watched a lot of movies. Some people think that it is a waste of time on this amusement, then I can tell them they think in the wrong way.Watching movies is a good way to learn things. When I finish watching the movie, I will scan the comments on the Internet, then the analysis of the movie helps me understand the movie better.Whats more, I also learn the culture.Like the movie Mummy, I learn the Egypt culture. When I search more information, I feel like reading a history book.Watching movie is a funny way to learn knowledge.?第11页共11页。

八下英语第七单元作文中国的地理概貌全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1China: A Vast and Diverse LandHi there! My name is Xiao Ming, and I'm a student in elementary school. Today, I want to share with you something fascinating about my homeland, China. It's a country with an incredibly vast and diverse geographic landscape, spanning from towering mountains to vast deserts, and from lush forests to winding rivers. Let me take you on a journey through this amazing land!First, let's talk about China's mountains. Have you ever heard of the Himalayas? These majestic peaks stretch across several countries, including China, and they're home to the world's highest mountain, Mount Everest! Mount Everest is a whopping 8,848 meters (29,029 feet) tall, and it's part of the Himalayan mountain range that runs along China's southwestern border. But the Himalayas are not the only impressive mountains in China. There's also the Kunlun Mountains, the Tian Shan Mountains, and the Qinling Mountains, just to name a few. Thesemountain ranges are incredibly beautiful, with snow-capped peaks, deep valleys, and stunning landscapes that take your breath away.Moving on, let's explore China's deserts. The Gobi Desert is one of the largest deserts in the world, and it stretches across parts of China and Mongolia. It's a vast expanse of sand dunes, rocky outcrops, and sparse vegetation, where temperatures can soar during the day and plummet at night. Another famous desert in China is the Taklamakan Desert, which is known for its shifting sand dunes and treacherous conditions.Despite these harsh environments, China is also home to lush forests and dense jungles. The Sichuan Basin, for example, is a region known for its subtropical forests, where giant pandas roam among the bamboo groves. In the south, you'll find the tropical rainforests of Yunnan and Hainan, teeming with a rich diversity of plant and animal life. And let's not forget about China's incredible rivers! The Yangtze River is the longest river in Asia and the third-longest in the world, stretching for an impressive 6,300 kilometers (3,915 miles). It starts high up in the Tibetan Plateau and winds its way across central China before emptying into the East China Sea.Along its banks, you'll find fertile farmlands, bustling cities, and breathtaking gorges like the Three Gorges.Another famous river in China is the Yellow River, which is often called the "cradle of Chinese civilization." It's known for its striking yellow color, which comes from the loess soil that it carries downstream. The Yellow River has played a crucial role in the development of ancient Chinese cultures, and it's still an important waterway for transportation and irrigation today. But that's not all! China is also home to vast plateaus, like the Tibetan Plateau, which is often referred to as the "roof of the world." This massive plateau covers an area of over 2.5 million square kilometers (965,000 square miles) and has an average elevation of over 4,500 meters (14,800 feet). It's a unique and fascinating region, with its own distinct climate, flora, and fauna. And let's not forget about China's coastline! With over 18,000 kilometers (11,000 miles) of coastline, China boasts a diverse range of coastal environments, from sandy beaches to rocky cliffs, and from bustling ports to serene bays. The country's coastal regions are home to vibrant cities like Shanghai and Qingdao, as well as stunning natural landscapes like the Wulingyuan Scenic Area, with its iconic sandstone pillars and ravines. As you can see, China is a land of incredible geographic diversity, with landscapes that will leave you in awe. From the soaring peaks of the Himalayas to the vast expanse of the Gobi Desert, from the winding Yangtze River to the lush forests of Sichuan, China is truly a geographical wonder. And you know what's really cool? All of these different landscapes are home to unique plants and animals that have adapted to their specific environments. For example, in the deserts, you'll find camels and special plants that can survive with very little water. In the mountains, you'll find animals like the snow leopard and the Tibetan antelope, which are perfectly suited for life at high altitudes. So, the next time you learn about China in your geography class, remember that it's not just a country on a map – it's a vast and diverse land with stunning landscapes, rich biodiversity, and a fascinating history and culture. Who knows, maybe one day you'll get to visit China and experience its breathtaking beauty for yourself!Well, that's all from me for now. I hope you found this journey through China's geographic landscape as exciting as I did. Until next time, happy exploring!篇2China's Awesome Geography!Hi there! My name is Li Xiaoming and I'm a student in 8th grade. Today I want to tell you all about the amazing geography of my home country, China. China is a huge place with so many different landscapes and environments. Get ready to learn some super cool facts!Let's start with the mountains. China has some of the highest and most magnificent mountain ranges in the whole world! The mighty Himalayas run along the southwestern border with Nepal, Bhutan, and India. These mountains are the tallest on Earth, with the famous peak of Mount Everest reaching up to 29,029 feet (8,848 meters)! Can you imagine a mountain taller than commercial airplanes fly? Crazy! The Himalayas aren't the only massive mountains we have though. In western China there are also the Kunlun Mountains, the Tian Shan range, the Altai Mountains up near Mongolia and Russia, and the Qilian Shan. Farther east, we've got the Qinling range dividing the north and south, and of course the mighty Nanling mountains down in the subtropical southeast. With all these peaks and valleys, China is a mountain hiker's paradise! While the mountains are super tall, China also has some incredibly deep canyons and gorges carved out by raging rivers over millions of years. One of the most famous is the Tiger Leaping Gorge on the Jinsha River in Yunnan province. This enormous gorge has sheer cliffs going straight up over 3,000 meters (almost 2 miles) high on each side! Hiking trails run along the edge where you can look straight down into the turquoise river roaring through the narrow valley. It's both beautiful and terrifying at the same time.An even deeper gorge is the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon in Tibet. This monster canyon plunges over 5,000 meters (16,000 feet) deep, making it one of the deepest in the world! The massive Brahmaputra River has cut this immense gash in the landscape over countless millennia. Exploring these deep canyons is like stepping back in time to when dinosaurs roamed the earth. While the mountains are what China is most famous for geographically, we also have vast plateaus and basins as well. The Tibetan Plateau in western China is sometimes called the "Roof of the World" because it has an average elevation over 14,000 feet! This high, flat region is the source of many of Asia's great rivers like the Yangtze, Yellow, Mekong, and Indus. It's sohigh up that there is very little oxygen, making it hard for people from lower elevations to breathe properly. In the arid northwest, we find the immense Tarim Basin, Junggar Basin, and Qaidam Basin. These low-lying desert regions are hemmed in by towering mountain ranges all around. The Tarim Basin is one of the largest sandy deserts on the whole planet. Just the name "Tarim" makes me think of Lawrence of Arabia crossing the blazing hot dunes on camelback! Parts of the ancient Silk Road trade routes passed through these lonely and inhospitable basins.China's geography is just as diverse as our food and cultures across this vast land. From freezing cold mountains to searing hot deserts to lush river valleys, we've got it all! In the far northeast near Russia and North Korea, we even have dense pine forests covering the mountains. And down in the tropics of Hainan Island and the southern coast, you'll find gorgeous beaches and coral reefs teeming with colorful fish and marine life. Like I said, China has seriously awesome geography!I hope you learned some new cool facts about the amazing landscapes across my country. There's so much natural beauty and wonder to explore here. I feel really lucky to live in a place with such an incredible variety of environments all in one country.Getting to experience all the different landforms, climates, plants, and animals is one of my favorite things about being Chinese. I can't wait until I'm older to go hiking and exploring more of these spectacular places myself! The Himalayas are the highest mountains in the world, and they include the peak of Mount Everest, which stands at an incredible 29,029 feet (8,848 meters) above sea level! Can you imagine how tiny everything would look from up there? In the northwest, we find the Kunlun Mountains and the Tian Shan Mountains, which are also part of high mountain ranges. These mountains are known for their glaciers, which are huge masses of ice that move very slowly down the slopes. The melting glaciers provide water for many of China's rivers and lakes.Speaking of rivers, China has some of the longest and most important rivers in the world. The Yangtze River is the longest river in Asia, stretching for an amazing 3,915 miles (6,300 kilometers) across central China. The Yellow River is another major river, known as the "Mother River" of China because it played such an important role in the development of ancient Chinese civilization. While rivers bring life, deserts are some of the driest places on Earth. China has several deserts, including the Gobi Desert in the north and the Taklamakan Desert in the northwest. These deserts are known for their sand dunes, which are huge mounds of sand that can reach heights of over 1,000 feet (300 meters)!Along the eastern coast of China, you'll find a beautiful coastline with many bays, gulfs, and over 5,000 islands. The Yellow Sea and the East China Sea are two important bodies of water that border China's eastern coast. It's like stacking up over 80 school buildings!Another famous mountain range in China is the Kunlun Mountains. Today I want to tell you all about the awesome geographic landscape of China. China is a huge country with so many different environments and landforms. From towering mountains to vast deserts, mighty rivers to stunning coastlines, China has it all! Get ready to learn about the incredible variety of China's natural wonders.Let's start with the mountains! China has some of the highest and most famous mountain ranges in the world. The Himalayas stretch along China's southwestern borders and include the highest peak on Earth, Mount Everest. Even though its summit isn't actually located within China's borders, you can still see its snowy peak from Tibet. The Himalayas are just massively tall and jagged, with glaciers and rocky cliffs. Hiking there would be crazy hard but the views must be breathtaking. In western China, you'll find the Kunlun Mountains and the Karakoram Mountains. These ranges have some of the highest peaks and longest glaciers outside of the Himalayas. The scenery looks almost otherworldly, with bright blue lakes, stark rocky terrain, and patches of snow and ice. Traveling there is extremely difficult due to the high elevation and remote location.Eastern China has some older, less extreme mountain ranges that are still incredibly beautiful. The Tian Shan runs along the border with Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Parts of it are quite green with meadows and forests. The Altai Mountains in the far northwest corner have amazing wildlife like eagles, snow leopards, and argali sheep. I'd love to go hiking and camping in ranges like those someday.Moving away from the mountains, China has several massive plateaus that cover huge areas. The Tibetan Plateau in the southwest is often called the "Roof of the World" because it has an average elevation higher than any other plateau on Earth. It's surrounded by the greatest mountains and contains the sources of major rivers like the Yangtze, Yellow River, and Mekong. Parts of the plateau are covered in alpine meadows and lakes, while other areas are harsh and dry.In the northwest, the Tarim Basin holds the Taklamakan Desert, one of the largest sandy deserts in the world. Crossing this desert was an extreme challenge for ancient travelers on the Silk Road trade routes. The desert is surrounded by tall mountain ranges and gets almost no rainfall at all. I can't imagine how hot and dry it must be out there! The sand dunes look beautifully smooth and wavy from above though.Northern China has a much drier climate overall, transitioning from deserts in the northwest to grasslands called steppes. The Mongolian Plateau covers a huge area spanning from northern China into Mongolia. It's mostly made up of flat or rolling plains with sparse grass vegetation, almost like a sea of waving green in the summertime. Nomadic herders have moved across these grasslands with their livestock for thousands of years.Eastern China has some really cool karst landscapes where water has dissolved and eroded the limestone or dolomite bedrock over millions of years. This creates crazy beautiful formations like towers, arches, sinkholes, and caves. Some of the most famous examples are found at places like Guilin, Yangshuo, and Wulingyuan. The cluster of quartzite pillars at Zhangjiajie was actually the inspiration for the landscape on the movieAvatar! Those rock pillars look entirely otherworldly. I'd love to go explore caverns and climb on some of those weird rocky hills someday. In southern China, you'll find much more lush, tropical environments. Hainan Island has incredible white sand beaches lined with palm trees. It's often called the "Hawaii of China." The island's interior is covered in misty hills and rainforests, making it feel like a prehistoric paradise. I went snorkeling there once and saw so many colorful fish and coral.Yunnan province is another southern region with rainforests, rice terraces carved into the mountainsides, and bubbling hot springs. It has over 50 ethnic minority groups with their own unique cultures. In the very south near Vietnam, you'll see tropical plants like banana trees, coconut palms, and wild orchids. The geography changes so much as you move across this massive country.Let's not forget rivers! China has two major river systems that have been a huge part of China's ancient civilization and agricultural development. The Yangtze River is over 3,900 miles (6,300 km) long, making it the third longest river in the world after the Nile and the Amazon. It starts high up in the Tibetan Plateau and descends through deep valleys before emptyinginto the East China Sea near Shanghai. The landscape along the Yangtze is stunning, with towering gorges like the famous Three Gorges region. Major cities like Chongqing, Wuhan, and Nanjing lie along this crucial waterway. The Yellow River is another massive river, stretching over 3,300 miles (5,500 km). Unlike the Yangtze's relatively straightforward path, the Yellow River takes a very winding and twisted route across northern China. It gets its name from the large amounts of yellowish silt and sediment。
