美国机场海关-假期-回忆

Around Christmas one winter,I went to Vancouver with two cousins.I had never been out of the country before.That is why I found out for the first time that we should not take too many things

with us when we come back.

在圣诞节前后的一个冬天，我和我的两位表兄弟表姐妹去加拿大的温哥华。之前，我从来没有出过国。所以这是我第一次了解发现到不应该带太多的东西回国。

During the vacation,we went to the world famous mall and shopped like crazy.We brought back loads of souvenirs with us.A lot of items were nicely packaged in pretty boxes and gift-wraps.At

that time the thought of going through customs never entered my mind.

Before getting out of the airport,the customs inspector checked our bags and told us that we should have filled out a declaration form with a list of the things we bought,along with the value

of each item.Now when I go to another country,that experience keeps me from buying too much stuff.

Seattle or Aunty Jean in Denver are too far from San Francisco and must catch a plane.

One of Father's brothers-in-law,who operates a hotel,said he can give us discounts for using their ballroom,but the details are being managed by Mom.

Besides the relatives,we will also be expecting many family frinds and employees from his company.I am responsible for contacting those who will be attending.It was not as easy as I

thought,because there were too many people to call or e-mail.
