These days, I spend lots of my time on watching Joe Wong’s show, I pained attention on his words, his behaviour, his phiz and the audience’s response to his jokes, and I tried to fathom his jokes.

In order to know his jokes better, I not only have searched

America’s background knowledge on the Internet, but also have read

his autobiography.

All these work that I have done turn out to be worth, Joe Wong really is a charming guy. Joe is a stand-up comedian, he headlined the radio and TV Correspondents’ Dinne r where he roasted vice president Joe Biden. He made multiple appearances on the David Letterman and Degeneres show. Joe’s life has been very boring except two surprises in 201X. He went to the Great American Comedy Festival and won the competition there. Then he became Boston Comedian of the Year, after failing to become Boise Idaho comedian of the year.

Why Joe Wong can get such a big success? I think the reasons can be summarized in four points.

First, distinctive shows. Joe Wong used his diminutive physique, poor driving skills, and Asian heritage as a springboard to slay the crowd. As early as his first show, Joe Wong had developed his own feature of talking. Some people don’t like Joe Wong’ shows, they think Joe’s English is very difficult to understand, because of his clip accent. And they may fell puzzle with Joe Wong’s intermission and empty

faces during talk-shows. I think Joe did so on purpose. The most unique style is that he controls audience and gives them enough time

to digest his jokes by keeping silence. Or maybe we can say the

Second, interest and perseverance. Joe Wong said he always enjoy humorous, and after he graduated from school, he learned that for three times and try it out as a hobby.
