初二英语作文：Sunrise 日出

It is said that the scene of sunrise is beautiful, but I had never s een it before. It was so hot last night that I didn’t sleep well. Early this morning I got up and came to the balcony to relax. It was cool outs ide. I looked up at the sky, the sparse stars twinkling there. Everythin g around me was dim. I gazed at the east, where the sky was lightening. After a while, the stars disappeared and the buildings, trees, streets i n the distance could be seen faintly. Slowly, the horizon in the east wa s becoming reddish. The red color extended continuously and was becoming thicker and thicker. At last the sun showed its face a little, graduall y into a half flaming ball, and whole ball appeared, shining brightly. E verything around me was clear. What a beautiful sunrise I saw!

初二英语作文：My Experiece in the Morning Fog 我的晨雾经历Fog is a natural phenomenon. It usually appears in the morning, so p eople call it morning fog.

It is Tuesday today. I got up very early to do some jogging as uaual. When I got out of the building. I found that I was surrounded by the fo g. I didn’t know whether I was in a dream or not, because everything wa s not clear. The street lights seemed far away, like stars in the sky. I

couldn’t see anything or anybody three metres away. Only could I hear some sounds. When people came nearer, I could see them clearly. My hair was wet. Droplets were on my face.

The morning fog was gradually disappearing when the sun rose in he e ast. All the things were clear again.

We know it is difficult to learn English. My English is very good. I learn English like this.

I Listen to the teacher carefully and write the important points dow n on my notebooks. After class I revise the lessons. Before class I prep are new lessons to find out the questions. Then I will listen carefully in class.

I also listen to the tape, and speak English with my classmates in t he classroom and on the playground. It’s to improve my listening and sp eaking.

I keep a diary every day to practise my written English.

Besides this, I often read English newspapers and magazines to enric h my knowlege on English culture.

We will learn English well so long as we learn it hard.

In class, our teacher told us something about Project Hope. She said some children in the country couldn’t go to school because their paren ts were too poor to send their children to school. She called on us to h elp out.

After school I returned home. I wasgreatly moved by this. What shoul d I do for Project Hope? I was wondering about this when I saw the money collection box on the table. Then I decided to send my pocket money, wh ich I had saved for nearly one year, to the children who wanted to go to school. I wrote a letter to them and hurried to the post office. Togeth er with the letter, Iposted the money and sent my best wishes to them.
