1.本课选自小学英语六年级上册,本书有十二个单元,本课为第一单元,属于故事型语篇教学。本单元共有三课时,本课是第三课时。
2.六年级上册第一单元第一课时用Sally成长的不同阶段的介绍引入一般过去时,并要求学生用was/were来表达过去的状态。一般过去时的学习是本单元的重点也是本册书的重点。而本课随着故事内容的推进,用小蝌蚪Justin的变化让学生进一步学习体会过去时和现在时对比应用,从而帮助学生提高巩固和综合运用本单元所学的知识的能力。
学情分析
1.在之前学习的基础上,教师虽然以前没有教过这个班的同学但能够在上课之前多次和学生进行沟通,并了解学生的学习习惯和认知规律。

二、重点短语三、重点句型1. Her hair was short and her eyes were big. 她的头发很短,她的眼睛很大。
主语+was/were+形容词(big, small, tall...).当主语是I或者第三人称单数时,be动词用was;其他情况be动词were。
was/were后面可以接描述人物体貌特征的形容词。
2. She was about two months old. 她大约两个月大。
about这个词含义很丰富:①意为“大约,差不多”。
e.g. It’s about two kilometers long. 它大约两千米长。
②意为“关于,对于”。
e.g. Tell me all about it. 把这件事全部告诉我。
3. Little Justin was born in the river. 小贾斯廷在河里出生。
little意为“小的”,带有感情色彩。
e.g. I have a little dog. 我有一只小狗。
little表示“几乎没有”,修饰不可数名词,表否定意义;而a little表示“一点,少许”,修饰不可数名词,表肯定意义。
e.g. little water 几乎没有水 a little water 一点儿水四、重点语法一般过去时用法:1.一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的态;2. 过去习性,经常性的动作,行为;3. 过去主语的性格和所具有的能力。
基本结构:(1)肯定句:①主语+was/were+其他。
②主语+动词过式(+其他)。
(2)否定句:①主语+was/were not+其他。
②主语+didn’t+动词原形+(其他)。
(3)一般疑问句:①Was/Were+主语+其他?Yes,...was/were.No,...wasn’t/weren’t.②Did+主语+动词原形(+其他)?Yes, … did.No, … didn’t.五、话题写作1. 思维步奏①确定时态为一般现在时。
②首先简单介绍自己的姓名和年龄,然后介绍自己喜欢做的事情或会做的事情,接着写一写自己长大后想从事的职业,最后说明理由。
