This test is to test your ability to express yourself clearly and plainly. There are two parts in the test. Part one is to test your ability to pronounce correctly and fluently. Part two is to test your ability to communicate with others in an appropriate way. All the test materials are based on what you learnt in Chapter 1-28 of the textbook. You could practice in advance in order to improve your oral English performance.

Part I Reading Aloud (5’ x10=50’) Directions: Read aloud 10 sentences from Classroom English 300 Sentences chosen at random by your teacher. Read the sentences clearly and fluently. Pay attention to your pronunciation, intonation and rhythm.

I. 课前准备(Preparation for a class)

1. Clean the blackboard, please.

27. You can choose any topic you like.

28. Listen to him carefully then ask and answer questions about his speech/talk.

VII. 复习(Revision)

in the last lesson?

32. Before the new lesson, let’s review so me words and phrases.

33. Take out your exercise-book. Let’s have a dictation about the words and phrases.
