2017年9月30日的雅思写作考题又是老题一个，2014年07月19日的原题又一次出现了，可谓是非常典型的双边讨论题目。解析原题如下：

Some people think that governments should do more to make their citizens have a healthier diet. Others, however, believe that individuals should take responsibility for their own diet and health. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

双边讨论的题目，唯一的要点就是在论述此类问题时切记要从“个人”和“政府”两个角度论述。切忌喧宾夺主，厚此薄彼。

Since basic needs of majority of worldwide population can be covered easily in contemporary society, a growing number of people are paying increasing attention to pursuing a healthy diet nowadays. Without any doubt, governments and individuals have to work collectively so as to make sure that healthy diet can be available for everyone.

开头段先是简要地介绍背景，在通过点题的同时来清晰地表达笔者立场。

Primarily assuming that our governments had already done anything they could do to provide healthy food for us, decisions concerning what kinds of food people want to buy and eat would be still up to people themselves. They would be the final decision makers while shopping for food. Without sufficient awareness of eating healthily, people would be attracted by some unhealthful food simply due to its deliciousness. In other words, undoubtedly individuals must be directly responsible for their own diet no matter how much effort governments could make.

主段一，从个人的角度出发。通过反证的方式来进行论述。先设立前提，既政府已经竭尽全力推广健康饮食的情况下，个人仍然是最终的决策者。以此来论证个人在这个过程中的重要性。

Additionally, one of my friends, a regular gym-goer, who is crazy about eating as healthily as possible, always complain that any effort he has done for having a healthy diet is meaningless if our governments do nothing to support healthy food in our society. To begin with, he has to pay high price for green food in market since there is no related subsidy for healthy food from governments, which keeps many people away from having healthy food. Besides, despite relatively much money he spends for food like this, he is not quite sure about whether the food he pays for is

healthy or not, as there is no regulation or law to define and supervise healthy food in market.

主段二，从政府的角度论述。即使个人对于健康饮食较为狂热，在没有政府支持的情况下，其一切努力也都是枉然。进而突出政府在此过程中的重要性。

To sum up, obviously it is not a one man job. Meanwhile, individuals and governments should cooperate whole-heartedly to perform their duties in order to diffuse healthy diet to everyone.结尾段重述立场。个人和政府的努力，二者缺一不可。
