博世汽车零部件公司产品开发项目管理体系研究
Abstract
With the economic development and improvement of people’s living standard in China, the automobile have driven into many families life. Automobiles expenses also become the new increasing momentum to Chinese economics. According to the latest statistic data in 2009, China had exceeded USA, becoming the biggest country in automobile production and sales. In the huge automobile market, it’s both opportunity and big challenge for the tire-one automotive products companies. Many aggressive competitors entered the market in succession. To survive the fierce competition, the companies have to meet the higher standard on cost, quality and time management and control in the process of product development. Currently, the companies endeavor to strengthen the project management capability, in order to improve the efficiency and quality in project management, to respond efficiently to the quick-changing market and different customer requirement. The target is to meet customer requirement and improve the company’s competitiveness and achieve the company’s strategic target ultimately.
Finally, the project management office coordinates the projects overall and

supervise each customer projects, ensuring that the projects both meet customer requirements and gain profit for company.
It requires the internal and external resources integration to implement the project management process effectively. Therefore, the thesis stresses that the management support, company culture, human resources, performance review, are important factors for effective project management. Secondly, introduce a project portfolio management proposal to resource allocation. The proposal ensures the scientific and reasonable selection in project start-up phase and meets the resource needs in project implementation.
Firstly, add a project management office in project organization. The company’s project management organizational structure becomes three hierarchies—project steering committee, project management office and project team. The steering committee makes decision for project acquisition and kick-off; the project management office coordinates and controls for several projects. Project teams implement and follow up each customer projects.
The thesis researches on the project management system in China and overseas, and analyzes several project management organizational structures in the field. Meanwhile, it points out the improvement to be done in the process of product research and development in Bosch Automotive product Changsha Co. Ltd (Short for Bosch), including improvements on organizational structure, resources allocation and project risk control. Aiming at finding solution, the thesis re-designs the project management system in Bosch.
