1. kick ass 了不起 A: Wow, you fixed my computer in less than 10 minutes. You’re good. A: 哇! 你不到⼗分钟就把我的计算机修好了呀! 你很棒! B: Yep. I just kick ass. B: 是的! 我就是厉害! "kick ass" 除了字⾯上的“踢*”外, 还有“厉害、打败”的意思。
当“踢*”时, ⽐如某⼈放你鸽⼦, 你很⽓, 就可以说: "I’m going to kick his ass." (我得踢他的*)。
当“厉害”⽤时, 就像上⾯例句⼀样⽤。
"kick ass" 还可作“打败某⼈的意思”。
⽐如某⼈⼀向在某⽅⾯⽐你强, 终于有⼀天你⽐他厉害了, 你就可以说:"Hahaha...I kicked your ass."。

这集要来跟大家介绍一下butt 这个字的用法. Butt 这个字除了当作"屁股" 来解释外, 还有许多非常有趣的口语和俚语用法, 这些可是一般书上学不到的喔~
1. Can you get your butt down here?能不能麻烦你下来一下?
Butt 表现出一种尖酸刻薄的语气, 有点那么不耐烦, 不高兴. 比如你找一个住五楼的朋友, 结果到了楼下, 他却跟你说, Come up here. 这时你心里一定会想, "那你你自己不会下来啊?" 像这样的语气, 你就可以说, Can you get your butt down here?
在电影Outside Providence 里, 有一个女生去找她男朋友, 那个男的就叫她自己上去, 她也是很不高兴地说了一句, Can you get your butt down here? 能不能请你移动一下你的屁股, 下来一下吧!
2. Can you get your butt back here?能不能请你转过头来.
大家有没有这样的经验? 跟一个人讲话, 他却一边回答你的话, 一边看着他的萤幕玩他的ICQ? (我就是这种人啦!) 这时你可能也会不太高兴, 你就可以说, Can you get your butt back here? 能不能请你转过头来看着我. 这句话如果不用butt 是很难表达出那样刻薄的语气的.

5. She is butt-ugly.她长的很丑(跟屁股一样丑:D)
要是你跟一个女生说, Y ou are butt-ugly, 那么她很可能有一种活不下去的冲动. 同上, 单讲ugly 的语气不强, 但是一旦加上butt 这个字, 语气就完全不一样了~
6. Butt out.走开
Butt out 应该是Get your butt out of here 的意思, 但一般只会说成butt out. 这句话跟get out 或是go away 是一样的意思.

这句话是有一次我听二个黑人在互相亏来亏去时讲的. 看来中外皆然, 开起玩笑来, 对方的妈妈就会成为首先糟殃的对象. Big butt 就是说屁股很大的意思.
还有一次听一个黑人说, I will kick your butt so high, you look like a hunchback. 他意思是说, 我要把你的屁股踢的半天高, 让你看来像hunchback 一样. (注: hunchback 是一种野猪, 也是U. Arkansas 的校队名称)
8. It's a big pain in the butt.那真是痛苦啊!
It's a big pain in the butt 看来是固定用法, 因为有一次我自创一句, That's a pain in the butt 老美就纠正我说没人这样用. 凡是很另人感到痛苦的事都可以这么说. It's a big pain in the butt! 另外也有老美把这里的butt 说成ass. 所以你可以说Y ou are a pain in the ass. 或是当形容词用, That's my pain-in-the-ass nephew.
9. Get your butt into gear. Get your butt geared. 开始工作吧!!
Gear 就是指车子上的排档. 把你的butt 放入档位, 意谓著你该开始动工了, 不要再混下去了. 还有一个用法也是老美跟我说过的, Y ou should get cracking. 意思也是, 你该开始工作了. 或是你也可以说, Don't be procrastinating, 就是不要再拖下去了!
10. I don't want to freeze my butt off. 我不想把屁股给冻坏了.
大概因为屁股是很脆弱的地方, 所以他们才说把屁股给冻坏. 学到这句话是有一次去美国家庭寄宿. 女主人很讨厌男主人抽烟. 所以男主人每次要抽烟都被女主人给赶到户外. 结果那天下大雪, 他又被赶到户外抽烟. 结果他就很不情愿地说了一句. I don't want to freeze my butt off!
p.s 很多地方butt 和ass 是可以互换使用的, 例如move your butt 也可以说成move your ass. 或是pain in the butt 和pain in the ass 都是一样的.。
