The Survey about the “Generation Y”

The sixteen issues for the "Generation Y" raised, it can not summarize all the "Generation Y", of which there is even a certain bias. But it can now reflect the "Generation Y" their values , an awareness of their situation. Here, I, as a standard "Generation Y", analysis of the results of each survey. We will re-recognize that those of us here "Generation Y" are.

The views by the older generation

For the younger generation, although we have to give the older generation is more questionable, as for now, leave alone those who have become the fifty percent of the labor force that the young born in the 80s people, and the remaining 90 or so were born the "Generation Y" who has shown more of a mature, such as live the Western life, living in the virtual world, try some of this age should not try things, etc. and so on. So, it would be this generation or even sad, in fact, this is like the author stated, is not really the "Generation Y" who, true to them, with older people should have the traditional thoughts by the impact of older people, their traditional spirit even more deep-rooted, their values are not lacking, but not yet well known. This generation has been only a generation of asylum in general, have a slightly superior living conditions of the surface, they have "fallen", in fact, their values, traditional concept of self-awareness, etc.

The traditional concept of “Generation Y”

In response, some more specific findings may explain some of the problems. 60% of the number of young people still want to live a traditional life, only 20% of young people advocating Western life（Figure 1）, which may only show that their tradition is still there, but there are also young people to pursue Western-style romantic group, which the proportion of species, in fact, just a very reasonable percentage.

As of view, as described in my survey, there are nearly 80% of the "Generation Y", in their hearts, the most important thing is family, of course, have felt the most important or even other friends（Figure 2）, but this can only Description "Generation Y" are the Chinese tradition still exists, even better than the older generation of the poor. This will also be a successor to their own advantage from the older generation. That every Chinese should have ideas, they would cherish forever, will they have less take many detours.

The Common features of "Generation Y"

Most of the nearly 80% of the "Generation Y" are still the owner of the ideal of childhood（Figure 3）, in fact, this figure is very accurate because the ideal of childhood are often funny or not realistic. And most of them admit they have a good childhood, they are chasing their dreams toward the road ahead, but it is more a part of their own did not find the real ideal, which is "Generation Y" faced a problem of its own.
