顺着山路走着走着便来到了十八盘。

作为一个山东人，不能亲临五岳之首——泰山，真是一件憾事。
我一直向往泰山，但一直没有机会去。
今年暑假，爸爸妈妈总算答应了我，让我到住在泰山脚下的三舅那里去休假。
八月十七日，在表哥、表姐的陪同下，我终于如愿以偿，登上了被称为“人间天上”、海拔1500多米的泰山，尽情游览了一番。
泰山，以“拔地通天之势，擎天捧日之姿”巍然屹立在齐鲁大地上，古人称赞泰山“万古此山先得日，诸峰无雨亦生云”。
所以历代不知有多少骚人墨客吟诗作画，留下佳句，讴歌祖国的大好河山、绮丽风光。
我们一行三人来到山脚下，沿着石砌的台阶向上攀登，但见驿路蜿蜒，古木苍翠，松柏夹道，路旁的野花万紫千红，各具特色。
古朴典雅的古代建筑一个接一个映入你的眼帘。
从岱宗坊向上便是王母池、红门、万仙楼，再向上是中天门、对松亭，名胜古迹数不胜数。

我正在台阶上喘息不定，忽听表哥大声喊：“登高望远呀！”我抬头向上望去，啊！直上直下，几乎是九十度。

说真的，这时我还真有点怕了，心想，早知道这么险，我是不会来的。
我心里怕，腿打颤，脚板又有点疼，真想返身回去。
这时，一个六十多岁的老奶奶拄着拐杖，冲我走来。
她见我站着不动，好像看透了我的心思，便说：“孩子，爬呀！爬泰山可不能怕累，更不能半途而废。
过了十八盘，南天门就到了。
”说着便一步一个台阶往上走。
不知是老奶奶的话启发了我，还是她的行动给了我力量，此时，我不再想别的，怕和累都抛到脑后，觉得浑身来了劲，学着老奶奶一步一个台阶的样子数着、爬着。
表哥忽然喊道：“到了。
”我停住脚步，抬头往上望去，可不是，真的到了。
山道正中一座城楼似的建筑耸立在山颠——这就是著名的“南天门”。
我加快了步伐，一股劲儿冲上去。
“南天门”三个赤金大字，赫然入目。
城楼墙全是用红、黄、蓝三色漆刷的，配色协调，鲜艳夺目，庄重大方。
我急切地跨进南天门，啊！顿觉“风云生足下，却疑身世出人间”！往里去，山风呼啸，浓雾弥漫，如坠入混沌世界。
我们继续向上，穿过天街，又攀阶而上，观看了碧霞祠、玉皇顶，真是俯视茫茫，如“陆海堆絮雪，不知千万顷”。
惋惜的是，我们时间有限，只看到一种奇观。
这时，表姐对我说：“涛涛，别着急，今天看到了云海奇景，至于看旭日东升、黄河金带、晚霞夕阳，以后有的是机会，也不能一次就饱览泰山的四大奇观呀！”说着，我们都笑了。
游云雾中的泰山，会得到美的享受，这次我算是真的感受到
了。
