If not, then you could be a “super recogniser”.Usually it's easy for someone to recognise(识别) the faces of their family and friends. But it could be difficult for them to remember faces that they've only seen once. However, studies have found that super recognisers have amazing face recognition skills. They can remember at least 80 percent of faces they've seen. At least one in 50 people are super recognisers, reported Daily Mail.Bournemouth University of the UK recently carried out a study. They tried to find whether super recognisers have a different way to remember faces. They found that when these people look at faces, they spend more time looking at the persons'noses.Researchers also found that these people are not smarter than others. Their super ability usually only helps them recognise faces.important finding is that there are subtypes(子类型) of super recognition. Some super recognisers never forget faces. But for some, if you show pairs of faces to them at the same time, they can quickly decide whether the faces are of the same person or two different people. In fact, many super recognisers say they are good at “spotting”(认出) faces in a crowd. These subtypes of super recognition could be used in many areas of life. For example, the skills could be very useful at a passport control checkpoint. Super recognisers could also help the police spot known troublemakers, bad people or even missing people in crowds.1.Whose face can an ordinary person remember easily?( )A.A foreigner's.B.A friend's.C.A troublemaker's.D.A missing person's.2. The guide first explained the history of the factory. Then we got some earbuds(耳塞) to protect our ears from the noise of the machines. We also needed to wear disposable(一次性的) lab clothes and hairnets(发网) to make sure we didn't dirty their work area. After these preparations, we went upstairs and entered the chocolate-making area. The floor was filled up with many machines. Each machine had a different job. The whole floor only had two people working, because machines did most of the work. Next, the guide explained the history of chocolate making. There was a picture of the factory 100 years ago, and there were more than 1,000 people working in the factory. But now the factory is very different. It's amazing how technology is changing people's life.Later, we saw the chocolate-making process. We got a cocoa bean, some powdered(粉状的) chocolate anda final chocolate product. I opened the cocoa bean and tasted it. It tasted bitter, kind of like dark chocolate. That day when he was working in the field, the shocked horse ran past him. Without thinking, he rushed out and controlled it. He didn't know it was the Queen's horse and never expected to get a gift. But he still felt happy for getting one.Two of the queen's men appeared. One carried a mirror. Red jewels(珠宝) shone on top of the mirror's silver frame(框架). The other carried a wooden cage with a chicken inside it.“Only one gift can be yours,” the queen said. “Choose wisely.”“That's easy,” Peter said. “I'll take the chicken.” Some of the queen's men laughed. The chicken will provide eggs for my family for a long while.”Queen Olivia smiled. “Then you did make a wise choice,” she said. “That mirror may look beautiful.
