英语作文Divorce in China

英语作文Divorce in China

Divorce in present-Day ChinaDivorce is a choice for couples to find their own happiness, for they have considered the marriage situation and result. Different with the former China, now the right to divorce is becoming more freely(free). First and foremost, there are lots of factors accounting for this phenomenon, but the most critical one is our social environment.(They used to be crammed with traditional concept not allowing to defy their parents’ command)Due to the progress in thought which assimilated the Western enlightenment, people have realized that marriage is no longer a so-called ”permanent” form, for they may be crammed with traditional idea (concept) not allowing to defy their parents’ command. Till now, the idea of free marriage has developed deeper and more various. Under this circumstance, people now in China consider divorce as a common thing that indicates to a pursuit for their future joy. Secondly, according to the chart of divorce rate in different provinces, big cities like Beijing and Shanghai are in the top ten. People living in big cities are usually confronted with many(countless) worries and troubles --High rent , compact work schedule, social interaction. Life with fast pace doesn’t give enough time for them to catch up with their couple(spouses). The faster their lives are, the bigger the gap between couples become. As a result, many of them might choose divorce as amean to escape.Nonetheless, without old restriction, young people tend to engage more easily and recklessly. They don’t spend enough time on understanding each other. Some irreconcilable contradictions bring constant quarrels in their life. It only leads to the same end -- Divorce. What’s more, people can divorce with no much effort. In China, people can divorce as quickly as they register to marriage. So they don’t need to take a great responsibility for divorce.Judging from these reasons, we can draw some conclusions and make few assumptions. We can see the recent divorce rate is getting higher --It was 43.83% in 2020, nearly half. Divorce can be easy, but most of time it will cause financial problems and ill social effects damaging the love atmosphere -- Many young people decide not to marriage. Even though divorce can be seen as a sign of advanced life, it also can be a sword towards us.Marriage means a love promise, a home of two and a huge responsibility. Higher divorce rate may be a progress in some ways. But when it lowers, better society development can be truly shown.。

Divorce in Present-Day China
(当今中国式离婚)
Sweden, a small country in Northern Europe, has a particular way of handling marriage certificates that deadlines are given to the marriage lines. Couples have to set a time limit, within which the marriage lines are officious. The cost for the marriage certificates is doublely higher than that for a decade. This method is mainly for reducing the number of divorce cases, and preventing people from the complicated process of divorce as well. It also reflects the phenomenon that the number of divorce is increasing rapidly, which involved many countries, including China.
Divorce was shameful in ancient China, and it was merely for man to have the right to decide whether to divorce his wife. A divorced woman could be considered lazy, disobedient or even profligate. Morals helped keep the low rate of divorce in ancient time and the early years in new China. Influenced by western culture, people in China scan divorce in a new way. It is reasonable and acceptable for a person to divorce if a marriage is bitter rather than sweet. Although a puzzled hesitation may occur before the divorce, it widely happens every where, out of the control of morality. Spectacularly, some women choose to divorce in the case that the problem of their marriage can be solved, in order to shoe
that they are not recreance but modernized instead.
Further, under a market economy, egoism and worship of money have forced the reality on marriages. In spite of love, materials are considered more important. The emotional attachments between husband and wives are eventually vanishing, which brings the nondeterminacy of marriages. When creature comfort cannot be satisfied, couples especially the female, will leave to find their new targets without any pain.
Meanwhile, for the sake of freedom, which is over mentioned and abused, young people tend to find their “soul mate” easily, sometimes through the internet. Traditional Chinese way of finding the other part that blind-date arranged by parents, makes marriages remain stable. Hence, young people people’s behavior that abandons it in the name of freedom lead to more divorce. The totally different family background and educational background cause many issues in their later marriages.
It is a vicious circle that people get used to the divorce around them. Divorce is more tolerant than ever. Moreover, the succedent problems are the large scale of single-parent families. It is a common idea that children from single-parent families are getting bad influenced by their parents’ divorces.
It is a fundamental human right to choose to be single or married. On the contrary, everyone has to take the burden of social responsibilities. That is to say, an all-around consideration has to be taken before a divorce.。
