1:Certainly, I'd be glad to help you with your article on "My Father: A Poetic Journey." Here's a draft for your consideration:My Father: A Poetic JourneyIn the quiet spaces of my childhood memories, amidst the whispers of the wind and the rustle of leaves, there exists a profound presence —my father. Yet, his influence transcends mere presence; it resonates through the corridors of my soul, shaping my perceptions, guiding my steps, and nurturing my love for poetry. This is the tale of my father, the poet.Born into humble beginnings, my father's life was a canvas painted with the vibrant hues of struggle and perseverance. Growing up in a small town nestled amid rolling hills and lush greenery, he found solace in the rhythm of words and themelody of verse. Despite the hardships that marked his early years, he discovered an oasis of tranquility in the world of poetry, where dreams took flight and emotions found expression. As a child, I would often find him seated by the window, a worn book of poems cradled in his hands, his eyes alight with the fire of imagination. With each word he read, each line he savored, he transported himself to realms unknown, where he danced with the muses and drank from the fountains of inspiration. It was in those moments that I witnessed the magic of poetry unfold before me, igniting a passion that would shape my own journey in years to come.My father was not just a reader of poetry; he was a weaver of dreams, a sculptor of emotions, and a guardian of truth. His verses were like windows to his soul, offering glimpses of his deepest fears, his fondest hopes, and his unwavering faith in the human spirit. Through his words, he painted landscapes of love and loss, joy and sorrow, capturing the essence of life in all its complexities. But it was not just his poetry that left an indelible mark on me; it was the way he lived his life as a testament to the power of resilience and the beauty of the human spirit. In the face of adversity, he stood tall, his spirit unbroken, his resolve unwavering. He taught me that true strength lies not in the absence of fear, but in the courage to face it head-on, armed with nothing but faith and perseverance. As I grew older, my own love for poetry blossomed under his gentle guidance. Together, we explored the works of the great masters —Wordsworth, Whitman, Dickinson —each poem a treasure waiting to be unearthed, each verse a melody waiting to be sung. Through our shared love for poetry, we forged a bond that transcended the confines of mere father and son, becoming fellow travelers on a journey ofself-discovery and enlightenment. But perhaps the greatest gift my father bestowed upon me was the freedom to find my own voice in the world of poetry. He encouraged me to write from the heart, to let my words flow like rivers of thought, unrestricted by conventions or expectations. And so, I poured my soul onto the page, weaving my own tapestry of dreams and desires, fears and aspirations.Today, as I look back on the path that has led me to where I am, I am filled with gratitude for the guiding light that has always been my father. His love for poetry has not only enriched my life but has also shaped the person I have become —a dreamer, a seeker, a poet in my own right. And though he may no longer be with me in body, his spirit lives on in every word I write, every verse I pen, a timeless testament to the enduring power of a father's love.In the end, my father's legacy is not just a collection of poems or a stack of dusty books; it is a living, breathing testament to the transformative power of art and the enduring bond between father and child. Through his poetry, he has given me the greatest gift of all —the gift of self-discovery, of expression, of connection. And for that, I will be forever grateful. So here's to you, Dad —the poet, the dreamer, the guardian of truth. Though you may have left this world, yourwords will forever echo in the chambers of my heart, a timeless reminder of the beauty and wonder that exists in the world of poetry.Feel free to adjust and personalize the draft to fit your style and voice. Let me know if there are any specific aspects you'd like to emphasize or if you need further assistance! 2:Title: My Father: A Poetic SoulIntroduction:Poetry is a form of expression that transcends language barriers, allowing emotions to be conveyed in a unique and powerful manner.

During moments of sadness or frustration, I often think of a family scene years ago in the town of Yakima, Washington. I was about seven or eight years old at the time. Father had died a few years earlier. Mother was sitting in the living room talking to me, telling me what a wonderful man Father was.

She told me of his last illness and death. She told me of his departure from Cleveland, Washington, to Portland, Oregon, for what proved to be a fatal operation. His last words to her were these: “If I die it will be glory, if I live it will be grace.”

”I remember how those words puzzled me. I could not understand why it would be glory to die. It would be glory to live, that I could understand. But why it would be glory to die was something I did not understand until later.

A Father Is
A Father Is:
There in every memory
See his love and care
Strength and hands to count on
Freely he does share
Provider, toil so faithfully
To make our dreams come true
Give strong and tender discipline
Though it is hard to do
A Father is God's chosen one
To lead the family
And point it to His will for life
Of love and harmony...

Daddy you are the Best
Daddy you are the best,
although you live in the west.
stay the way you are,
while your driving your sports car. You couldn't be a better dad
oh yeah, don't go driving around mad I love you for ever
'cause you'r really clever
Even though i puss and shove
I will still show all my love
--Olivia Elliott & Simeran Mason 【
A Little Girl Needs Daddy
A little girl needs Daddy
For many, many things:
Like holding her high off the ground Where the sunlight sings!
Like being the deep music
That tells her all is right
When she awakens frantic with
The terrors of the night.
Like being the great mountain
That rises in her heart
And shows her how she might get home When all else falls apart.
Like giving her the love
That is her sea and air,
So diving deep or soaring high
She'll always find him there.
My Dad
When I was just a tiny kid,
Do you remember when,
The time you kissed my bruises,
Or cleaned by soiled chin?
You scrambled for the balls I hit, (Short-winded more than not,)
Yet, every time we'd play a game, You praised the "outs" I caught.
It seems like only yesterday,
You wiped away my tears,
And late at night I called your name, To chase away my fears.
Though time has changed your handsome grip, Your hair is snowy white,
You gait's a little slower now,
Thick glasses help your sight.
Oh, do I thirst for years gone by,
To be that growing lad,
Re-living all of the memories,
Of growing with my dad.。
