被动语态表示主语是动作的承受者,即行为动作的对象。

(被动句)构成His bicycle was stolen.The building has been built in 2000.通过上面的例句,可以看出,“被动语态”的构成是:be + 过去分词 ( + by + 动作执行者)形式被动语态由助动词be加及物动词的过去分词构成,强调动作是由什么人或什么东西而发出时,常用介词“by +行为发出者”,即be+done+by+行为发出者。

被动语态的用法
(1)含有双宾语的谓语动词变被动语态: 谓语动词带有双宾语时,既可以将间接宾语转化成主语,也可以 将直接宾语转化为主语,但应在被保留的间接宾语前加介词for 或to。eg: I gave him a piece of advice. 我给了他一条建议。 →He was given a piece of advice by me.或A piece of advice was given to him by me. (2) 在主动语态中,不定式作使役动词和感官动词的宾补时要省 to,但在变为被动语态时,要加上to。这些动词有:let, make, have和see, hear, watch, feel, notice等。eg: I saw her play computer games. 我看到他玩电脑游戏了。 →She was seen to play computer games by me. (3) 含有短语动词的句子变为被动语态时,短语后的介词或副词 不可漏掉。eg: I can take good care of you. 我能够照看好你。 →You can be taken good care of by me.
