过去完成时
过去完成时表示在过去某一时间或动作之前已经发生或完成的动作，它表示动作发生的时间是“过去的过去”。

其结构为“助动词had(用于各种人称和数)＋过去分词”。

表示过去某一时间可用by, before等构成的短语，也可用when, before等引导的从句等。

His mother had already cooked dinner by the time he got home.
到他回到家的时候，他妈妈已经做好了晚饭。

When the police officer arrived at the store, the thief had run away.
当警察到达商店时，小偷已经逃跑了。
