1汽轮机种类与型式1.1汽轮机steam turbine蒸汽透平使蒸汽膨胀将热能转换为机械能的、具有叶片的旋转式动力机械。
1.2冲动式汽轮机impulse turbine大多数级的蒸汽主要在喷嘴或静叶栅中进行膨胀的汽轮机。
1.3反动式汽轮机reaction turbine大多数级的蒸汽在喷嘴nozzle(或静叶栅)和动叶栅中都进行膨胀的汽轮机。
1.4轴流式汽轮机axial flow turbine蒸汽基本上沿轴向流动的汽轮机。
1.5辐流式汽轮机radial flow turbine蒸汽基本上沿径向流动的汽轮机。
1.6凝汽式汽轮机condensing turbine排汽直接进入凝汽器的汽轮机。
1.7背压式汽轮机back pressure turbine将高于大气压力的排汽用于供热或其他用途的汽轮机。
1.8抽汽式汽轮机extraction turbine从汽轮机级后抽出部分蒸汽供用户使用的汽轮机。

电站汽轮机专业名词术语汽轮机本体结构及零部件3.1 蒸汽室steam chest,蒸汽通过主汽阀后进入调节汽阀前。
3.2 汽缸casing；cylinder,承受压力，包容转子并供安装持环。
3.3 筒形汽缸barrel type casing,呈筒形的无水平法兰的汽缸。
3.4 喷嘴nozzle喷管,通常指汽轮机第一级的静叶片(栅)。
3.5 喷嘴室nozzle chamber,调节(汽)阀后喷嘴组前的腔室。
3.6 叶片blade,使蒸汽的热能有效地转换为动能或机械功，并对汽流起导向作用的零件。
3.7 静叶(片) stator blade,隔板、汽缸等静止部件上的叶片，其功能是使蒸汽的热能有效地转换为动能并对汽流起导向作用。
3.8 导(向)叶(片) guide blade,主要起改变汽流方向作用的静叶。
3.9 动叶(片) moving blade；rotor blade,装在转子上的叶片，其主要功能是使蒸汽动能和热能有效地转换为机械功。
3.10 隔板diaphragm,装有静叶片的两半圆环或整圆环。
3.11 旋转隔板rotating diaphragm,通过转动安置在静叶前的旋转环改变静叶通流面积，以控制抽汽量的隔板。

3.15 隔板套diaphragm carrier ring,外缘嵌装在汽缸槽内，安装多级隔板的中问支撑体。
3.16 围带shroud,位于叶片顶部，用于改善叶片振动特性和应力水平并减少叶顶漏气的覆盖体。
3.17 叶栅cascade,由叶片按一定规律排列形成汽流通道的组合体。
3.18 直叶片straight blade,沿叶高的叶型相同或相似、安装角不变且横截面形心连线与径向线一致的叶片。
