The EVM includes one bq2083/bq29311 circuit module, a current sense resistor, a thermistor, an EV2200 PC interface board for gas gauge interface, a PC serial cable, and Windows -based PC software. The circuit module includes one bq2083 IC, one bq29311 IC and all other necessary components onboard. The circuit monitors and predicts capacity, performs cell balancing, monitors critical parameters, protects the cells from overcharge, over discharge, short circuit, and overcurrent in 3- or 4-series cell Li-Ion or Li-Polymer battery packs. The circuit module connects directly across the cells in a battery. HCNR200 / HCNR201 电机驱动和电流回路应用应用笔记5394摘要本应用笔记介绍HCNR200和HCNR201高线性度模拟光电耦合器的操作和应用,详细描述光电耦合器的内部工作原理和伺服控制机制,提供涵盖电机控制电流感应到流程控制中传统电流回路通信等数个应用范例,并介绍这些光电耦合器的评估电路板。

介绍HCNR200和HCNR201高线性度模拟光电耦合器内含照射两个紧密匹配光电二极管PD1和PD2的高性能铝砷化镓(AlGaAs)发光二级管(LED),如图1,输入光电二极管PD1可以用来监测并稳定LED的光输出,因此基本上可以消除这个LED的非线性和漂移特性,输出二极管PD2则产生线性相关于LED光输出的光电流,光电二极管的紧密匹配和先进的封装设计确保这些光电耦合器的高线性度和稳定增益特性[1]。

HCNR200和HCNR201采用400mil宽体DIP-8封装供货,请参考图2,并提供鸥翼型表面贴装选择,表1提供了HNCR200和HCNR201的选型指南。

HCNR200和HCNR201可以使用于需要良好稳定性、线性度、带宽和低成本等各种广泛的模拟信号隔离应用,HCNR200和HCNR201具备高灵活度,因此通过适当的应用电路设计,可以在许多不同的模式下工作,包括单极/双极、交流/直流和反向/非反向等,HCNR200和HCNR201是许多模拟隔离问题的良好解决方案,以下将陆续讨论其中的几个应用。

由于高电压的出现,因此通常会因安全和法规规定,必须通过电气隔离来保护操作电机和低电压数字电子电路的人员,HCNR200和HCNR201提供有极高的绝缘电压(5kVrms/1min),非常适合直流母线电压监测、直流母线电流感应、交流相电流感应以及温度和位置感应等应用。

图3显示了典型电机驱动功能框图[2]中的应用,以模拟隔离方块图框标示,由图中我们可以看到,电阻R2和R5分别用来测量高电压直流母线电压和直流母线电流,电阻R3和R4则用来测量电机相电流,而如温度和位置等参数则可以通过连接到电机的适当传感器感应,并把输出传送给另一个模拟隔离方块,接着所有参数通过隔离屏障传送并由微控制器收集,图4A 和图4B [1]显示了单极输入和双极输入电路的简化模拟隔离方块图。

(A) 单极输入电路(B) 双极输入电路工作原理电路的工作原理[1,页15]可能无法由图4A 立即明显看出,特别是电路的输入部分,采线性反馈闭环连接时运算放大器会尝试维持两个输入端上的输入电压相同,因此,输入侧运算放大器A1总是试着让光电二极管PD1的电压为0,如果在输入上加上正电压V IN+,那么运算放大器的输出将倾向移动到负电压以造成发光二极管的电流流动,这个V IN+将使电流流过R1。

发光二极管的光输出由产生电流I PD1的PD1检测,假设A1为完美的运算放大器,那么不会有电流流入A1的输入,因此所有流过R1的电流都会流过PD1,由于A1的”+”输入为0V ,电流流过R1,因此I PD1就等于V IN+/R ,也就是 I PD1 = V IN+/R1.请注意I PD1仅由输入电压和R1决定,并不会受到LED 的光输出特性影响,由于LED 的光输出随温度变化,因此放大器A1会调整顺向电流I F 来补偿并维持稳定的PD1电流大小,请注意,I PD1完全正比于V IN+,带来输入电压和光电二极管电流间非常高的线性关系。

输入光功率和光电二极管输出电流间的关系非常线性,因此通过对I PD1进行稳定和线性化,LED 的光输出也会稳定并且线性化,由于LED 的光输出会落在两个光电二极管上,因此I PD2也会维持稳定。

虽然PD1和PD2基本上完全相同,因此理想上I PD2应该等于I PD1,不过在实际情况下两者的关系包含一个K3系数,因此 I PD2 = K 3 x I PD1,其中K3为产品数据表中定义的传输增益(K3=I PD2/I PD1 =1),放大器A2和电阻R2形成了将I PD2转换为电压V OUT 的转阻放大器,其中 V OUT = I PD2 x R2.结合以上三个方程我们可以得到输出电压相对于输入电压关系的整体表示式 V OUT /V IN+ = K 3 x (R2/R1).因此,V IN+和V OUT 间的相对关系为固定且线性,并且不会受到LED 光输出特性的影响,模拟隔离方块电路的增益可以藉由调整R2和R1间的比值简单进行调整。

图4A为适合仅有正电压输入的单极配置,图4B在配置上则面向双极输入,也就是信号可在正电压和负电压间变化,并加入两个电流源I OS1和I OS2来控制信号的偏置以使它们相对于光电耦合器形成单极状态,电流源I OS1提供足够的偏置确保I PD1永远为正值,第二个电流源I OS2则提供偏置以取得目标值的净电路偏置电压,譬如,如果正电源和负电源都被使用时可能为零电压,对于单一正电源电路则中值电压可能较为适当。

电流源I OS1和I OS2可以通过连接到适当电压源的电阻简单实现,请注意,偏置性能受到I OS1和I OS2间的匹配和光电耦合器增益的影响。

电流感应和电压监测用隔离放大器除了HCNR200和HCNR201以外,安华高科技(Avago Technologies)还提供有各种微型化隔离放大器和隔离模数转换器,可以作为微控制器或数字信号处理器(DSP, Digital Signal processor)电流感应和电压监测应用的直接接口,这类型复杂的模拟光电耦合器目前已经逐渐取代霍尔效应(Hall effect)传感器,作为如交流相电流、直流轨道/母线电流、直流母线电压和温度等反馈参数的测量和监测应用。

使用隔离放大器和隔离模数转换器的部分关键优势为[2, 3]:• 高可靠性和长寿命• 可变速度/可变频率控制能力• 小尺寸封装和占用面积• 低功耗• 低成本• 安全光学隔离/电气隔离• 法规和安全规范认证电流回路通信应用在工业流程控制中,电流回路已经成为传感器信号传输的标准方法[4],这个方法特别适合长达10公里的长距离传输,电流回路是一个非常高灵活度的通信接口,电流回路有几种形式,分别为由线性电流代表模拟信号的模拟形式,由高和低逻辑电平代表MARK和SPACE状态的逻辑形式,以及使用可寻址远程传感器高速通道(HART®, Highway Addressable Remote Transducer)通信协议的模拟和数字电流回路组合形式,相较于电压信号,电流回路有以下的优点 :• 對於噪聲較不敏感,並且不受線路阻抗誤差影響• 长距离传输不会有振幅损失• 低成本的两线式电缆• 较低EMI敏感度• 可以检测传感器离线、传输线路断开和其他故障为4-20mA电流回路加上绝缘对于保护电子电路,避免受到常见于工业流程监测应用中电气噪声和瞬态的干扰非常重要,绝缘屏障可以帮助传感器对数百甚至数千伏特电压形成电气绝缘,HCNR200和HCNR201提供目前最高等级的安全和法规性能,使它们非常适合这类型应用。

宽体封装具有400mil引脚间隔以满足较高的外部电气间隙和爬电距离要求,UL/CSA VISO 隔离电压承受等级为5000Vrms/1min IEC/EN/DIN EN 60747-5-2工作电压规格为1414Vpeak,结构拥有1mm 的内部电气间隙和10mm的外部爬电距离,以及9.6mm 的外部电气间隙,基于本身的结构,这些器件不仅适合需要强化绝缘的应用,同时也适合故障安全设计,除了HCNR200和HCNR201以外,Avago也提供有适用于使用20mA逻辑电流回路系统,产品型号别为HCPL-4100和HCPL-4200的光电耦合20mA电流回路发射器和接收器。

固有高发光二极管到光电二极管的线性度、光电二极管的紧密匹配和封装的先进设计,使得HCNR200和HCNR201的高线性度和稳定增益特性可以确保,这个优秀性能更使它们在同类产品中得以卓然出众。

除了线性性能表现的不同外,在选择零组件时另一个值得考虑的是电路的线性输入范围(LIR, Linear Input Range),电路的线性输入范围决定了数据表所标示线性度的输入信号动态范围,由记载于数据表中特定光电耦合器的线性响应范围决定,举例来说,在HCNR200和HCNR201的数据表中,标示HCNR200在 5nA < I PD < 50μA 和0V < V PD < 15V 测试条件下的直流非线性典型值为0.01%,最大值为0.25%[1,页7],数据表中光检测器电流或特定LED 电流大小条件下工作光检测器的测试条件可以用来计算电路的线性输入范围。
