Unit 1 Lesson 1 Schools of the Future教材分析本课是北师大版《初中英语》八年级下册教材第一单元，话题为“科技和未来”。
本课是本单元第一课，在承接Get Ready部分有关“technology”话题的基础上，本课重点介绍未来的学校。
本课的教学设计分为两个课时。
第一课时侧重对课文的理解，首先通过头脑风暴激活学生已有的知识：你所了解的科技发明。
随后通过阅读，获取文章的主旨大意。
第二遍和第三遍阅读获取细节信息：课文中所提到未来的学校是什么样。
