以学生上课外兴趣班为题英语作文

以学生上课外兴趣班为题英语作文My Life With Extracurricular ClassesHi there! My name is Emily and I'm 10 years old. I'm in the 5th grade at Oakwood Elementary School. I love going to school and learning new things every day, but my life doesn't just revolve around normal school classes. A huge part of my life is also all the extracurricular classes I take after school and on the weekends. Let me tell you all about my super busy schedule with these fun extra activities!First up, I have ballet class twice a week after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I've been taking ballet since I was just 4 years old. At first, it was just for an hour in the evenings, but as I've gotten older, the classes have gotten longer. Now my ballet classes are 2 hours long each time. We start with stretching at the barre, then do center work practicing our techniques like plies, tendus, and pirouettes. The last part of class is when we learn choreography and go across the floor doing our dance routines. Ballet is so much fun, but also really hard work! My muscles are always sore after class. I have two big performances each year where I get to dress up and perform on stage with all the other students. It's magical! On Mondays and Wednesdays, I go straight from school to my art classes at the community center. We do all kinds of different art projects - drawing, painting, sculpting, printmaking, you name it! I especially love working with clay and making little animal sculptures. My favorite projects have been the huge ceiling-high paper mache tree we made last year that's still on display, and the ceramic mosaic mural we created over several months that now decorates the garden area behind the center. Getting to be creative and make beautiful works of art is the best!I have so many paintings, drawings, and little clay creatures displayed all around my room at home.Saturday mornings are reserved for my swim team practice at the local pool. I've been swimming competitively since 2nd grade after taking basic lessons as a little kid. It's probably my favorite extracurricular because being in the water is just so freeing and fun! During our 2-hour practices, we do lots of laps working on our different strokes like freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. We also work on our dives, turns, and swimming longer distances. Then we play fun games in the pool at the end as a treat. Our big swim meets are always on Sundays which means I have to wake up super early, but it's worth it to compete and hopefully win some medals or ribbons! Swimminghas made me really strong and taught me discipline, sportsmanship, and how to be part of a team. Finally, on Sunday afternoons, I go to a weekly Coding Club where we learn all about computer programming. It's definitely the newest extracurricular I've added to my schedule after getting really interested in technology over the past year. We use simple coding languages like Scratch and Python to create animations, games, apps, and websites. I just think coding is the coolest thing ever! It's like giving instructions to bring your ideas to life with technology. My dream is to maybe work at a huge tech company like Apple or Google when I'm older. For now though, I love tinkering away on my coding projects at Coding Club each week. Who knows, maybe I'll create the next hit app or video game!As you can probably tell, my schedule is absolutely packed with extracurricular activities from morning until night, Monday through Sunday. I barely have any free time for playing outside or watching TV, but I don't even mind. I love being constantly busy and trying out all these different hobbies that go way beyond what I learn at regular school. My parents have to drive me everywhere which can be chaotic, but they are super supportive of me pursuing my many interests and passions. All the extracurricular classes have helped me develop so many amazing skills beyondAcademics. I've become a creative problem solver, a dedicated athlete, an artist, a performer, a coder - the list goes on! While it can be stressful at times with so much to juggle, the rewards of taking all these enriching classes outside of school are immense. I'm gaining priceless experiences that make me a more well-rounded person. I have so many interests and so much knowledge about the world. Maybe I'll pursue one of my hobbies professionally when I'm older, or maybe I'll just always keep them as fun pastimes throughout life. Either way, I'm having a blast being involved in ALL THE THINGS as a kid! My childhood is truly extraordinary thanks to myjam-packed extracurricular schedule.。
