Unit 2 Never Give Up 记叙文阅读课教学设计及反思一、教材分析Unit 2 的阅读课以“ Never Give Up” 为内容,是单元教学的重点。

本节课不仅延续了前一个单元的成功话题,更将此话题进一步深入讨论,通过阅读让学生明确无论谁想获得成功都要有永不放弃的态度。

本课文章层次清晰,条理分明,而且是一篇非常典型的记叙文,根据此文的特点,结合本篇记叙文的内容,以思维导图为载体进行阅读教学,同时鼓励学生在阅读过程中互助合作,以思维导图的形式展示学习成果,检验其对所读文章的理解。

二、学生分析学生阅读文章的过程是学生已有的认知与文本信息交互作用和意义建构的过程。

学生将已有的认知形式与文本信息联系起来并彼此匹配时,就能理解材料的内容。

八年级学生在阅读需求和动机上略有差异,但对于阅读材料的需求存在显著差异。

具体来讲,基础差的学生更多地倾向于幽默、动漫;基础好的学生则对人物传记、历史地理类书籍更感兴趣。

将思维导图应用在阅读理解中,能有效激发学生学习英语的兴趣,提升英语教学及学生学习的效果。

三、教学目标、重点、难点①知识目标:学习本课重要的单词optimistic ,determined ,self-confident ,pushy,blindness ,happiness ,challenging ,理解文章意义;掌握基本的阅读策略,通过阅读进行篇章结构的梳理,并能够以思维导图形式展示学习成果。

②能力目标:采用情境教学,思维导图,整体阅读,研读,问答,讨论等方法,培养学生的阅读能力,以教师为主导,学生为主体,任务为基础,多媒体贯穿课堂教学始终。

③情感目标:教导学生无论遇到什么困难都要知难而上,用永不放弃的精神鼓舞自己。
