Aninteresting country
The topic on my card is to describe an interesting country, and I would like to talk about Molossia. When hearing its name, I’m sure most people would feel strange. It is a tiny country with only 6 natives!
I know about this country from my geography teacher. On one of his class, he tells us some tiny countries in the world, and Molossia is one of them, which is still alive now.
The name “Molossia”comes from Spanish, which means small rocky mountain. It is an independent sovereign countrywith its own navy, and the king himself is the Commander-in-Chief. The interesting emperor once said that, “An independent state should have its own beers and aircraft industry!” So he carried out several space programs. The latest program is an aerial photo plan, using a family camera, which is carried by 40 colorful balloons, aiming at capturing his whole country. Unluckily, those balloons hung on the brunches of a tree, making that plan fail in the end.
This country even has its immigration policy, which is said to be stricter than America’s. As for the tourists, they have to book to visit in advance, otherwise the natives may suffer crowd when they go to toilet.
It is quite a funny country, from its policy to people’s thought. I hope one day I could have a visit to there.。
