大学_生活-Making friends Selectively or Extensively at the same time_335724_9618219
My opinion differs from the two views above. To answer this question, I'm inclined to come back to the word, friends, itself. As far as I am concerned, there are two types of friends, the ones you trust in, you cherish and you can talk anything with and the ones you just know, sometimes give greetings to when you meet up with each other in a street or other places. I guess it is wise to categorize our friends into the first type with caution and it is a good idea to make the latter kind of friends as much as possible.
Some people hold the opinion that making friends selectively is automatically better. They say we should be cautious about putting our trust in other people, otherwise, making friends may be dramatically perilous. Consequently, they make friends as if they are shopping in a mall, where they walk around and look at different commodities. Only after long-time observing and considering do they make friends.

1)有些人认为应该有选择地交朋友
2)另一些人认为应该广泛地交朋友
3)“我”的看法
MaExtensively?
Some people think that we should make friends selectively while others suppose that we should make friends extensively. From my perspective, we can make acquaintance with all kinds of people, but friends can only be made with a few people you trust and treasure.
To make acquaintance and to make friends vary in principles. We need to make acquaintance with people in various fields and from different status, so that we are able to cooperate and communicate with them when required. Some people regard that kind of relationship as "friend", so they think we should make friends extensively. I can't fully agree. In my opinion, a friend must be someone you trust and be pleasant to be with. You may share common interests or have the same dream to pursue or just enjoy being together. There shouldn't be anything you want to take advantage of in your relationship. Thus real friends are usually not easy to encounter, so to make friends extensively is somehow unrealistic in general.
On the other hand, we should make real friends selectively. As the saying goes, He who lives with cripples learn to limp. Friends, especially when you are close enough, are likely to have great influence on you. Positive effects are welcomed, but there are negative effects as well. For example, some drug abusers were firstly exposed to drug through their "friends". Maybe this is an extreme case, but what we can see from it is that just to hang out with a wrong crowd is possible to ruin our life. Therefore to make friends selectively is too important to be neglected.

Directions: For this part, you are allowed to write a composition on the topic Making friends Selectively or Extensively? You should write at least 150 words and base your composition on the outline given below:
First, I'd like to declare the difference between "acquaintance" and "friend" in my opinion. You can say you've made acquaintance with somebody as long as you'd met each other and know a little about him. However, a friend is usually not to be reckoned until both of you have knowledge of each other's personality, experiences, and family background.
In a word, friends are that kind of people deserve your cherishing and also that kind of people impact on you largely through your lifetime. So we should make friends selectively in order to make both your lives enriched instead of destroyed.
