小学五年级英语朗诵稿篇1Good afternoon, teachers! I`m very happy to introduce myself here. I`m Scott. My Chinese name is SunZijing. I`m 13. I`m from Class1 Grade 6 of TongPu No.2 Primary School.I have many hobbies, such as playing ping-pong, playing badminton, listening to music, reading magazines and so on. My favourite food is chicken. It`s tasty and yummy. So I`m very strong.I`m a naughty boy. I always play tricks. And I just like staying in my room and reading books. But I have a dream, I want to be a car-designer. Because I`m a car fan. This is me. Please remember SunZijing! Thank you very much!An old woman had a cat. The cat was very old; she could not run quickly, and she could not bite, because she was so old. One day the old cat saw a mouse; she jumped and caught the mouse. But she could not bite it; so the mouse got out of her mouth and ran away, because the cat could not bite it.Then the old woman became very angry because the cat had not killed the mouse. She began to hit the cat. The cat said, "Do not hit your old servant. I have worked for you for many years, and I would work for you still, but I am too old. Do not be unkind to the old, but remember what good work the old did when they were young."小学五年级英语朗诵稿篇2Have you ever done something silly that made you feel so embarrassed? Well, I had a really bad Saturday morning.I went shopping last week, on my way home, it began to rain.I quickly ran into a nearby phone box because I didn't have an umbrella. It was raining hard and I decided to stay in the phone box until it stopped. A few minutes later, I saw a young man walk up to the phone box, wearing a yellow raincoat and holding a tool box. I didn’t want to go out into the rain, so I picked up the phone and pretended I was talking to someone. I thought he would go away, but he didn't. He just waited in the heavy rain, watching me wave my hands about and act as if I was deep in conversation.Luckily, the rain stopped after about ten minutes. “OK, Mum,”I said loudly into the phone.“I'll see you later. Bye!” I put the phone down and went out of the phone box.“I'm sorry to keep you waiting for so long.”I said to the man.“Oh, I don't want to use the phone,”he replied. “I've just come to repair it. It doesn't work.”My face turned red and I quickly ran off with my head down. That was certainly the most embarrassing time of my life.小学五年级英语朗诵稿篇3In my dual profession as an educator and health care provider, I have worked with numerous children infected with the virus that causes AIDS. The relationships that I have had with these special kids have been gifts in my life. They have taught me so many things, but I have especially learned that great courage can be found in the smallest of packages. Let me tell you about Tyler.Tyler was born infected with HIV: his mother was also infected. From the very beginning of his life, he was dependent on medications to enable him to survive. When he was five, he had a tube surgically ed in a vein in his chest. This tube was connected to a pump, which he carried in a small backpack on his back. Medications were hooked up to this pump and were continuously supplied through this tube to his bloodstream. At times, he also needed supplemented oxygen to support his breathing.Tyler wasn’t willing to give up one single moment of his childhood to this deadly disease. It was not unusual to find him playing and racing around his backyard, wearing his medicine-laden backpack and dragging his tank of oxygen behind him in his little wagon. All of us who knew Tyler marveled at his pure joy in being alive and the energy it gave him. Tyler’s mom o ften teased him by telling him that he moved so fast she needed to dress him in red. That way, when she peered through the window to check on him playing in the yard, she could quickly spot him. This dreaded disease eventually wore down even the likes of a little dynamo like Tyler. He grew quite ill and, unfortunately, so did his HIV-infected mother. When it became apparent that he wasn’t going to survive, Tyler’s mom talked to him about death. She comforted him by telling Tyler that she was dying too, and that she would be with him soon in heaven.A few days before his death, Tyler beckoned me over to his hospital bed and whispered, “I might die soon. I’m not scared. When I die, please dress me in red. Mom promised she’s coming to heaven, too. I’ll be playi ng when she gets there, and I want to make sure she can find me.”小学五年级英语朗诵稿篇4Today's symbol of today's symbol of buffett's daughter proud as a child, at a dinner party, the father for the daughter bragging about their future will certainly become a great writer, for his father. Daughter stammer said not to come out, buffett and great anger, roar a way: "leave the table and return to your bedroom to reflect on yourself, remember, when you didn't do anything, don't dream of becoming."Daughter proud when I was young, at a dinner party, the father for the daughter bragging about their future will certainly become a great writer, for his father. Daughter stammer said not to come out, buffett and great anger, roar a way: "leave the table and return to your bedroom to reflect on yourself, remember, when you didn't do anything, don't dream of becoming." Grandiloquence who will say that, but if you don't do, talk again good. It seems such a story, captain gave them a box of useless wood, in fact, he has given the purpose of their action, so that they receive the precious than gold things of life. This story inspires us to learn, do anything it must have a clear purpose and goal.Deaf people and beautiful Avalokitesvara, blind man climbedMount Qomolangma, his legs were amputated limbs and re driving the plane back to the sky. Many normal people are hard to do, but these disabled people put them into reality, it can not be surprising, more by their tenacity, moved and never give up the spirit of the main reason for their success is that faith, towards the goal, never give up."Forewarned is forearmed.", set the goal, how to unremittingly to never give up, there must be a plan of action, the success of faith, this is your guide to action, is the catalyst you excavate and utilize the potential of the body.If you think you are very outstanding, you really will be very good; if you think small, you will fall behind; if you imagine brave, you will not fear it; if you think brilliant, you will become very great.Because when you do a warm-up before the action, the idea of doing every detail of the matter, sort out the mind, and then they are deeply impressed in mind, when you act, you will be handy, copeThe students wanted to have a clear target to achieve the goal to succeed, from now on, let them in your imagination become reality -- to feel them and experience them, believe them.I believe the near future, you will see them and eventually become a reality. My speech is over, thank you!小学五年级英语朗诵稿篇6One day, a crow finds a piece of meat ,She picks it up in her mouth andflies to a big tree. When she is just going to eat the meat,a fox sees her. Land resources are dwindling because of water loss and soil erosion. Waste gases poison the air we breathe. The rivers and lakes are polluted by waste dumped in them from factories. It is probably no exaggeration to say that deterioration of the quality of the environment threatens the existence of mankind itself. Some people are of the opinion that the environmental problem is the price we have to pay for economic development. But I do not think that this argument is valid. After all, what is the point of economic growth if people’s lives are adversely alfected by worsening environmental pollution? There is plenty of evidence to show that sustainable development can be achieved by balancing economic growth with protection of the environment. The key to achieving this is to make people aware of the seriousness of the problem. Both governments and ordinary citizens should join hands to make this world a better place to live in, not only for ourselves, but also for future generations.小学五年级英语朗诵稿篇8I’d like to ask you to point out your favorite country if here is a map. It has a population of over thirteen hundred million. Beijing is its capital. It’s needless to say that China has a long history. Now China is a strong and developing country. Facts have proved that China is a powerful, invincible. If anyone asked, we will proudly say that I am Chinese.I am proud of you一一China.I am a primary school student now; I know that all of us are the future of our nation. So, what we need to do is to study hard step by step, listen carefully in the class and do homework everyday so that we can dedicate ourselves to our nation when we grown up! That’s my speech! Thank you for listening.小学五年级英语朗诵稿篇9China has its own sport legends. Back to Song Dynasty, People started to play a game called Cuju, which is regarded as THE origin of Ancient football. 小学英语朗诵稿篇一:英文朗诵稿(4篇)YouthYouth is not a time of life; it is a state of mind; it is not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips and supple knees; it is a matter of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life. Youth means a tempera-mental predominance of courage over timidity, of the appetite for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20. Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self-distrust bows the heart and turns the spring back to dust. Whether 60 or 16, there is in every human being’s heart the lure of wonder, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living. In the center of your heart and my heart there is a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope, cheer, courage and power from men and fromthe Infinite, so long are you young. When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old, even at 20, but as long as your aerials are up, to catch waves of optimism, there is hope you may die young at 80.Knowledge and virtueKnowledge is one thing, virtue is another; good sense is not conscience, refinement is not humility, nor is largeness and justness of view faith. Philosophy, however enlightened, however profound, gives no commandover the passions, no influential motives, no vivifying principles. Liberal Education makes not the Christian, not the Catholic, but the gentleman. It is well to be a gentleman, it is well to have a cultivated intellect, a delicate taste, a candid, equitable, dispassionate mind, a noble and courteous bearing in the conduct of life--these are the connatural qualities of a large knowledge; they are the objects of a University; I am advocating, I shall illustrate andinsist upon them; but still, I repeat, they are no guarantee for sanctity or even for conscientiousness, they may attach to the man of the world, to the profligate, to the heartless, pleasant, alas, and attractive as he shows when decked out in them. Taken by themselves, they do but seem to be what they are not; they look like virtue at a distance, but they are detected by close observers, and on the long run; and hence it is that they are popularly accused of pretense and hypocrisy, not, I repeat, from their own fault, but because their professors and their admirers persist in taking them for what they are not, and are officious in arrogating for them a praise to which they have no claim. Quarry the granite rock with razors, or moor the vessel with a thread of silk, then may you hope with such keen and delicate instruments as human knowledge and human reason to contend against those giants, the passion and the pride of man.A poor farmer had a friend who was famous for the wonderful apple he grew. One day, his friend gave the farmer a young apple tree and told himto take it home and plant it. The farmer was pleased with the gift, but when he got home he did not know where to plant it. He was afraid that if he planted the tree near the road, strangers would steal the fruit. If he planted the tree in one of his field, his neighbors would come at night and steal some of the apples. If he planted the tree near his house, his children would take the fruit. Finally he planted the tree in his wood where no one could see it. But without sunlight and good soil, the tree soon died. Later the friend asked the farmer why he had planted the tree in such a poor place."What's the difference?" the farmer said angrily. "If I had planted the tree near the road, strangers would have stolen the fruit. If I had planted the tree in one of my field, my neighbors would have come at night and stolen some of the apples. If I had planted it near my house, my own children would have taken the fruit." "Yes," said the friend, "but at least someone could have enjoyed the fruit. Now you not only have robbed everyone of the fruit, but also you have destroyed a good apple tree!" A lesson of lifeeverything happens for the best,”my mother saidwhenever I faced disappointment. "If you can carry on, one day something good will happen. And you'll realize that it wouldn't have happened if not for that previous disappointment." Mother was right, as I discovered after graduating from college in had decided to try for a job in radio, then work my way up to sports announcer. I hitchhiked to Chicago and knocked on the door ofevery station-and got turned down every time. In one studio, a kind lady told me that big stations couldn't risk hiring inexperienced person-"Go out in the sticks and find a small station that'll give you a chance,”she said. I thumbed home to Dixon, Illinois. While them was no radio-announcing jobs in Dixon, my father sad Montgomery Ward had opened a store and wanted a local athlete to manage its sports department. Since Dixon was where I had played high school football, I applied. The job sounded just right for me. But I wasn't hired. My disappointment must have shown. "Everything happens for the best," Mom reminded me. Dad offered me the car to job hunt. I tried WOC Radio in Davenport, Iowa. The program director, a wonderful Scotsman namedPeter MacArthur, told me they had already hired an announcer. As I left his office, my frustration boiled over. I asked a1oud,"How can a fellow get to be a sport announcer if he can't get a job in a radio station?"I was waiting for the elevator when I heard MacArthur calling, "What was that you said about sports? Do you know anything about football?"Then he stood me before a microphone and asked me to broadcast an imaginary game. On my way home, as I have many times since, I thought of my mother's words: "if you carry on, one day something good will happen. Something wouldn't have happened if not for that previous disappointment" I often wonder what direction my life might have taken if I’d gotten the job at Montgomery Ward.篇二:小学英语朗诵兴趣组材料Twinkle, Twinkle, Little StarTwinkle, twinkle, little star, How I wonder what you are. Hello ! I am an apple. You can see everywhere in the world. Banana is my sister. We are different . I am round and my sister is long . I am very dilicious . So people all over the world like to eat me . I am aslo very cheap to buy.
I can make people healthy too. There is an English old saying, ”An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Do you like me ?
Never Give Up
Life doesn't always give us the joys we want. We don't always get our hopes and dreams, and we don't always get our own way. But don't give up hope, because you can make a difference one situation and one person at a time.
Look for the beauty around you--in nature, in others, in yourself--and believe in the love of friends, family, and humankind. You can find love in a smile or a helping hand, in a thoughtful gesture or a kind word. It is all around, if you just look for it.

uncomfortable shoes
LADY: Do you have any shoes like these?
ASSISTANT: What colour?
LADY: Black.
ASSISTANT: I'm sorry. We don't have any.
LADY: But my sister bought this pair last month. ASSISTANT: Did she buy them here?
LADY: No, she bought them in the U.S.
ASSISTANT: We had some shoes like those a month ago, but we don't have any now.
LADY: Can you get a pair for me, please?
ASSISTANT: I'm afraid that I can't. They're not in fashion this year. These shoes are in fashion now.
LADY: They look very uncomfortable.
ASSISTANT: They are very uncomfortable. But women always wear uncomfortable shoes!。
