Unit 1 How can we become good learners?Section B (3a--3b)一、教材分析本单元以How can we become good learners?为话题展开教学活动。
这个话题既有趣又实用,既能锻炼学生的语言能力,又能使学生学到一些实用的方法,对他们自身的学习大有帮助。
教材通过丰富的对话和Section A 3a的阅读材料How I Learn to Learn English和Section B 2a的读写材料How Can You Become a Successful Learner?的学习,使自己正确理解学习的目的,了解不同的学习方法,学会借鉴他人的优点、长处,以提高自己的学习效率,使自己懂得如何面对问题,以及提高自己解决问题的能力。
本节课主要是围绕如何学习的话题,展开说明各种不同的学习方法以及好处。
二、学情分析我所任教的学校是一所农村学校。
学生学习处于被动状态,英语写作基础比较差,只有少数一部分的学生可以写出简单正确的句子,有相当一部分学生面对书面表达无从下笔。
三、教学目标1.知识目标复习归纳本单元学过的有关英语学习的一些好方法,并让学生从中适当选择,让学生学会习。
2.能力目标(1)让学生学会习(2)帮助学生搭建写作框架,引导学生学会审题、构思和写作来降低学生的写作难度,同时也让学生有话可写。
3.情感目标通过对学习方法的学习,培养学生用正确而科学的方法做事的能力,明白:“成功 = 艰苦的劳动 + 正确的方法”,“一分耕耘,一分收获”。
四、重难点1.复习归纳本单元学过的有关英语学习的一些好方法,并让学生从中适当选择,让学生学会习。
能根据相关提示词、句型和自己所学的知识来介绍语言学习的方法及好处。
2.帮助学生搭建写作框架,引导学生学会审题、构思和写作来降低学生的写作难度,同时也让学生有话可写。

教学反思:
1. 本堂课的设计的最终目的是让学生生成自然的,鲜活的,有生命的对话。
所以,在1b和2b的对话操练里,并不是操练单调的主干句,而是将对话放入一个语境,让学生能够更好地了解所学语言的使用场合。
如1b的对话中,我添加的语境是考试之前,寻求他人帮助和建议的语境,而 2b的语境是与同学讨论最好的学习方法。
2. role-play是本堂课的重点和难点所在,在学习了role-play之后,让学生生成真正的,联系自身实际问题的,有个性、有生命的对话。
role-play描述的是英语学习中关于reading的问题解决。
所以,我引导学生讨论speaking,listening,writing方面有困难该怎么办,让学生提建议,并对所以建议作出评价,为学生能作出切合自身实际问题的对话做铺垫。
另外,我在课堂中尤其强调role-play的语音语调,注重进入“角色”的对话,而非照本宣科地朗读课文,让学生生成自然的,有生命的对话。
