第1段：专业认识，以及其中吸引申请者的部分，谈谈为什么。
第2段：在与这个专业相关的领域上都做了什么。
（在申请者的学校申请表格当中还没有提到的）
第3-4段：在校时期的工作经历。
第5段：业余爱好以及个人能力。
第6段：期望上贵校的决心及全文总结。
再次声明，这仅仅是一个参考，怎么写作还是要取决于申请者自己。
最后一种办法就是，找一个申请者喜欢的个人陈述模板，然后直接用它的结构去写申请者的个人陈述，不过要非常当心，千万不要复制模板里的语言表述方式。
写个人陈述时的注意事项：
个人陈述不宜过长、目的不明确、结构不合理，必须申请人原创。
简历
简历（Resume或curriculum vitae）是留学申请材料中的重要文件。
简历是概括性介绍自己经历的一篇文章，把需要补充的、没有在其他文书材料中体现出来的东西写在简历里。
简历是展示申请人概况最直观的方式，它的质量高低将直接影响申请的成功率。
为了能让对方清晰地了解自己，同学们在写作方面应力求全面、真实、简洁、明了。
简历应该包含以下内容：
◆个人信息，即Personal Information，包括你的姓名、联系地址和联系电话、Email。
◆姓名，与各种学历证明的姓名相同，如有更改姓名的情况，务必在公证时予以声明，并附上公证书。
◆性别。
◆出生年月日及地点，力求与各类学历证明的出生年月日一致，出生地写明国别和省份。
◆国籍。
◆婚否。
◆现在工作单位/学校及详细通信地址。
◆教育背景，即Educational background，从大学开始写，时间起止、学校、系别、学位、GPA、论文题目，可以写一些自己学过的核心课程，注意不要太多，5-6门足以。
◆个人重大经历，即Experience。
包括工作经历、学术经历、志愿者经历等：时间起止，公司或组织名称、职务、建树、具体工作。
这部分可以着重叙述。
◆所获荣誉，即Honors。
就是你所获得的各种奖励。
学术和社会活动等方面的荣誉都可以写上去。
格式为：时间、获奖名称（均为英文）、奖励范围（从多少人中选出多少，是按系还是在整个学校中评选）、奖励原因。
◆个人发表著作。
题目、作者、时间、杂志（包括页码）（中英文，以原发表为准）。
注意：需要是学术著作。
◆所参加的组织，即Membership & Affiliations。
参加的社团、协会，同时注明自己所担任的职务和所作的工作。
◆其他：包括标准化的考试成绩、计算机水平、主要的实验技能、兴趣爱好等。
注意：不同的专业要有不同的侧重，还可以酌情加一些对申请有帮助的东西。
简历中如何处理自己的弱项？
在简历中，申请人可以向录取委员会的评委们提供自己更全面的信息，帮助评委们了解自己过去的重要经历和所取得的骄人业绩。
要想向评委们提供有分量的信息，申请者首先不能急躁，而是要静下心来，花上一段时间，将自己的人生经历像电影一样在脑海里过一遍，认真思考一下并把相关的信息写在纸上，然后再进行删减和整理。
另外，我们在写简历的时候有一个原则，那就是在简历中尽量不体现申请者的弱项，如果申请者的有些经历不得不写进简历，也要采取一种积极的态度把它写出来。
总之，在写简历时，切记不要突出显示申请者的不足。
推荐信
留学申请中的推荐信是第三方为推荐学生去国外大学就读而写的信件，是一种应用写作文体，也是申请留学的必要材料。
英国留学推荐信是指：本科生或硕士研究生申请去到英国大学研究生院攻读硕士或博士学位时，请老师所写的推荐信。
一般情况下，英国的研究生院要求提供2封推荐信，信件作者应该熟悉学生，且最好有一定的知名度。
如何选择推荐人？
推荐人的选择很重要，申请者在选择推荐人时也不能马虎。
推荐人不仅要熟悉申请者的学习和工作，同时要熟悉申请人的动机和学习计划，而且要与申请人有比较密切的交流。
在中国，申请者一般会碰到这样的问题，选择牛人，比如某某大学校长、某某中科院院士，他们因地位高而突显信誉。
这些人本和学生没有什么学术关系，但学生通过种种关系找到这种人推荐也是可以的。
选择熟悉的人，一般是学生的老师，他们教授学生课程、指导学生实验，我们称之为“熟悉学生的人”，可是这些教授通常知名度有限，没有什么国际影响力。
向左走，还是向右走？我们的意见是尽量找“熟悉你的牛人”，当两者只能选其一的时候，就选熟悉你的人。
写推荐信需遵循的5大原则：
经常有国外大学的招生官员透露，中国学生的推荐信往往千篇一律，好话连篇，而写信的教授素不相识，因此介绍信的推荐份量往往不如本地学生。
所以，无论是自己写推荐信还是推荐人写推荐信，都需要遵循以下几个原则。
◆推荐信要真实客观；
◆插入具体实例；
◆转换语言风格和思维角度，增加推荐可信度；
◆绝对避免语法、拼写或明显的用词错误；
◆要注意推荐信之间的搭配。
推荐信的格式要求
推荐人应以该校或该公司抬头的信纸及信封来撰写信件，中文抬头的信纸及信封也可以，如果真的没有任何信纸及信封，可请推荐人附上名片并在推荐函上盖上学校章或公司章，不过有些学校还是要求有抬头的信纸及信封。
