大概念下Story time 的主题意义分析与实
文|朱敏明《义务教育英语课程标准（2022年版）》（以下简称“新课标”）与以往相比，强化了课程育人导向,核心素养是课程育人价值的集中体现,是学生通过课程学习逐步形成的适应个人终身发展和社会发展需要的正确价值观、必备品格和关键能力。
英语故事有完整的情节，蕴含着丰富的意义，能让读者明白一定的道理，是落实核心素养培养的有效载体。
PEP 《英语》教材中，每个单元的C 部分是Story time ，这一板块的内容主要以一对好友Zoom 和Zip 为主人公，基于单元主题围绕日常生活场景编写的故事，是教材结构的有机组成部分。
在新课标引领下,教师在设计故事教学活动时,要梳理语篇故事中的主题意义，探索大概念下实践英语故事的价值，从而实现学科育人，促进学生生命的成长。
一、基于大概念的Story time 主题意义整体解析（一）现状剖析：故事教学实践中主题意义的缺席与偏差首先，在实际教学中，Story time 往往整合在其他教学内容中，教师的专注点常常停留在基本知识和技能的教学，而故事背后蕴含的价值被忽视。
自2017年版高中课标发布以来,也有部分教师关注主题意义,但常常在教学中是浅尝辄止，又或是“告知式”“贴标签”的现象较为普遍,缺乏对于英语故事的主题意义分析与实践，不利于学生基于主题的深度学习和探究,学生很难形成将核心概念迁移或运用到新情境中的能力,难以落实核心素养的培养。
其次，教师对于如何提取Story time 的价值内涵缺乏方法的指引。
PEP 《英语》教材中的Story time 板块，编者预设的价值取向大多并不明显，需要教师自己去解读和分析，但受到认知、方法等局限，教师解读的主题意义或是在提取价值的时候容易与编者的预设产生偏差，与单元主题也并不一致。
此外,根据知网数据分析,更多教师倾向于课外绘本的研究与运用，而忽视了对教材中配套故事的研究,在实际教学中也往往忽视故事板块的作用,使故事教学失去了其原本应有的价值。

故事通过它们之间的对话突出了佐姆憨态可掬的形象，故事结局出人意料，趣味性很强。
故事中的语言紧扣本单元核心句型，同时也有适当拓展。
知识目标1．能够在图片的帮助下读懂Read and write的短文，在语境中理解新词garden、farm、goat、eat的含义，并完成读后的圈词活动；2．能够按照意群和正确的语音、语调朗读Read and write 环节的短文；3．能够在有意义的语境中抄写本单元核心句型，并根据实际仿写句子；4．掌握明信片的书写格式；5．能够按照要求完成Let’s check环节的练习；6．会唱Let’s sing环节的歌曲Mary has a little lamb；7．能够听懂并理解Story time部分的故事内容，并能表演故事。
