下面是一些我们认为最重要的安全建议。
始终佩戴座椅安全带座椅安全带能在所有类型的撞车中提供最佳保护。
气囊虽能辅助座椅安全带起保护作用，但气囊被设计成只能在遭受中等至严重程度的正面撞击时才充气。
侧面气囊(在有些车型上)被设计成只能在遭受中等至严重程度的侧面撞击时才充气。
因此，尽管您的车辆配备有气囊，也一定要确保您和所有的乘员佩戴安全带，并且要正确地将其佩戴好(请参见第16页)。
妥善安置所有的儿童乘员儿童应被妥善地安置在后排座椅，而不是前排座椅上，这是最安全的。
当儿童因太小而不能佩戴座椅安全带时，必须将其妥善地安置在儿童保护装置内(请参见第21页)。
警惕气囊的危险性气囊虽能起保护作用，但也会对坐得离它太近或没有被妥善保护好的乘员造成严重的甚至致命的伤害。
尤其对婴儿、幼童和身材矮小的成年人危险性最大。
请务必遵循本手册中所有的指导和警言(请参见第10页)。
切勿酒后驾车饮酒后不可以驾车。
即使只喝一口酒也会降低您对条件变化的应变能力，饮酒越多，反应越迟钝。
因此，切勿洒后驾车，也勿让您的朋友洒后驾车。
控制您的车速超速是发生撞车伤亡事故的主要原因。
一般来说，速度越快危险性就越大，但速度较慢时，也可能发生严重的意外事故。
千万不要罔顾所规定的最大速限及超越驾驶时的安全条件超速行驶。
保持车辆处于安全驾驶状态轮胎爆裂或机械故障都是极端危险的。
为减少发生这类问题的可能性，应经常检查胎压和车况，并完成定期保养表规定的各项定期保养(请参见第190页)。
二、车辆的安全设施(一)座椅安全带您的座椅安全带系统还包括仪表盘上的一盏提示灯与一个蜂鸣器，用来提醒您及乘员们扣紧座椅安全带。
为什么要佩戴安全带座椅安全带对成年人和大龄儿童而言是最有效的安全保护装置。
(婴儿和幼童必须被妥善地安置在儿童保护装置内。
)不正确佩戴座椅安全带，会增大撞车时受重伤甚至死亡的可能性，即使车上配备有气囊也无济于事。
大多数国家都制定了有关使用座椅安全带的法律。
请用些时间熟悉您将要驾车驶经国家的法律规定。
即使配备有气囊，若不正确佩戴座椅安全带，仍会增大撞车时受重伤甚至死亡的可能性。
要确保您和您的乘员始终并正确佩戴好座椅安全带。
正确佩戴座椅安全带能够：1)使您与车辆连成一体，从而得到车辆固有安全设施的保护。
2)几乎在各种类型的撞车中都能起到保护作用。
包括正面、侧面及后侧碰撞和翻车。
3)有助于避免您碰撞到车内物品及其他乘员。
4)避免您被抛出车外。
5)在气囊膨胀时，帮助您保持良好的坐姿。
良好的坐姿会减少气囊充气时造成伤害的危险性，使您得到气囊的最佳保护。
座椅安全带不能保证在每次撞车时都能彻底地保护您。
但是在大多数情况下，座椅安全带可以减少受重伤的危险性。
您应该做的是：确保您始终并正确佩戴好座椅安全带。
1)座椅安全带被设计成用来支撑人体的骨骼。
故佩戴时，应尽可能低地越过骨盆前部，也就是说，应横跨骨盆、前胸和肩部。
必须避免腰带部分横跨腹部。
2)佩戴座椅安全带时，以舒适为原则，但应尽量拉紧，这样，才熊达到设计上所赋予的保护作用。
安全带松弛将，大大降低对佩戴者的保护功能。
3)不可佩戴扭曲的座衙安全带。
4)每条座椅安全带只能为一位乘坐者所使用。
将座椅安全带绕过被乘员抱在怀里的儿童是十分危险的。
（二）气囊您的车辆上配备带有正面气囊的辅助保护装置(SRS)，在遇到中等至严重程度的正面撞击时，用来协助保护驾驶员和前排乘员的头部及胸部(请参见第48页有关正面气囊如何工作的更详细的说明)。
在配备侧面气囊的车辆上，您的车辆上也装有侧面气囊，在遇到中等至严重程度的侧面撞击时，用来保护驾驶员或前排乘员的身体上部(请参见第50页有关侧面气囊如何工作的更详细的说明)。
下面是您必须掌握的有关气囊的最重要知识：1．气囊不能取代座椅安全带。
气囊仅被设计成用来协助座椅安全带起保护作用。
2．正面气囊在遇到后侧撞击、翻车或轻度正画或侧面碰撞时，不能提供保护。
3．气囊可能具有严重的危险性。
气囊起作用时，会以极大的力量和极快的速度充气膨胀。
故其虽能协助保护生命，但若乘员们未能受到适当的约束，或是坐姿不正，均会导致其受轻伤、重伤，甚至死亡。
您应该做的是：始终正确佩戴座椅安全带，保持挺直的坐姿并尽量靠后，远离方向盘和仪表板。
（三）座椅和座椅靠背本车的座椅设计使您能保持舒适、挺直的坐姿，从而能够最大限度地获得座椅安全带和座椅中吸能材料所提供的保护。
如何调整您的座椅和座椅靠背也会影响到您的安全。
例如，离方向盘或仪表板太近，会增加您或您的乘员被车内物品或充气时的气囊撞伤的可能性。
若座椅靠背太倾斜，会削弱座椅安全带的保护作用。
撞车时，会增大佩戴者从座椅安全带下滑出，有受到严重伤害的可能性。
您应该做的是：尽量向后移动前排座椅，并在行车时，使可调节式座椅靠背始终保持直立状态。
（四）头枕头枕可以预防颈部扭伤及其他伤害。
