教材分析
本节课是高中英语第一册Welcome Unit的阅读和思考部分,这个单元是刚刚步入高中阶段的开始,所以是初高中的过渡,让学生逐渐适应高中阶段的节奏和生活,对比初中来找寻不同之处,从而尽快适应新的生活。

从阅读意识的培养上,让学生了解叙事体裁需要一定的顺序,让文章更有层次感。

最后,在读的过程中了解一些必须掌握的词汇。

教学目标与核心素养
语言能力目标
新课标对于高考语篇意识非常重视,其中的叙事类型学生并不陌生,只是没有从宏观把握的习惯,这节课内容虽然很简单,但是可以借此培养他们对叙事顺序的思考,帮助他们具有一定的语言意识和英语语感,在常见的具体语境中整合性的运用已有的语言知识。

思维品质目标:
通过对比主人公的高中生活和自己的高中生活来寻找相同点和不同点,建立高中学习目标,树立远大理想并正确评价各种思想观点。

同时通过对文章信息的重新整合,做到创造性地表达自己的观点,具备初步运用英语进行独立思考的能力。

(1)通过skimming 的方式快速找出文章的叙述顺序;

该对话按照以下逻辑顺序呈现了电话预订机票的全过程:发起对话—>确定预订信息(起止地点、时间等)—>确定航班需求—>确定乘客姓名—>确定付款方式。

Book 2 Unit 2 The Olympic Games---Writing教材分析:必修二第二单元的写作话题是“my favorite sport”,考虑到并不是每位学生都喜欢体育运动,我将本单元的话题作文改为题为“我的兴趣”的Report 写作,一般情况下学生都会有自己喜欢做的事情,这样学生才有话可写。

体裁上Report属于说明文,对于高一年级学生来讲是初次接触的写作文体,其作用为展示信息,介绍事物,主要运用时态为一般现在时。

学情分析:根据新课标要求,高一年级学生基本掌握单词量为2500-3000个,能熟练运用常用时态:一般现在时、一般过去时,其中一般现在时为本次写作课主要运用时态。

此外,逻辑思维已经发到一定阶段,具备初级结构分析能力。

另外高一年级学生对周边事物有较强好奇心,观察力敏锐,但是在写作上,他们有普遍的畏惧心理,表现为不知道写什么,不知道怎么写,所以通过范例分析讲解让学生学习如何写Report是这节课的重难点。

本单元的写作任务是要求大家写一篇幽默故事。

所谓幽默的语言指的是有趣、可笑而意味深长的语言。

这里有两点需要强调:一是有趣;二是意味深长。

即我们的作文语言既要有趣,又要有让人回味的东西。

一味地有趣而毫无味道,这样的语言不是幽默,而是滑稽。

对于作文语言来说,幽默的语言是一种境界,一种提升作文等级的较高境界。

那么应该怎么做才能达到这一境界呢?让我们来看两段语言材料:1.—I m worried about my daughter.She keeps being chased by the doctor. —Has she tried an apple?解读:这两句话乍一看,看不出幽默之处,其实这里运用了延伸双关语。

延伸双关语指巧妙运用某些语言现象(构词法、发音、谚语等)展开联想,从而达到某种幽默风趣的效果。

要理解双关语的精妙之处,需要有一定的英语文化背景知识。

本句就巧妙地利用了英语中的一句谚语“An apple a day keeps the doctor away”。

说话人运用短语keeps the doctor away“摆脱医生的追求”来给人出主意,这正是一种幽默技巧。

2.—There is something wrong with these hot dogs.—Well, don t tell it to me.I m only a waiter, not a vet(兽医).解读:这则幽默运用了“偷换概念”的方法,即把食品(hot dog)偷换成真正的动物来推卸责任。

答非所问,却意味深长,发人深省,风趣隽永。

从这些材料里,我们可以归纳出幽默语言的基本元素:1.夸张或夸张与比喻相结合。

2.挪借。

3.虚实转换(包括偷换概念)。

4.别解。

5.多义误解或双关。

另外,写幽默故事应注意:1.幽默故事往往比较简短,并常带有推理性。

前面的部分往往是起铺垫作用,后面部分才是幽默的“灵魂”。

故事中的一些前因后果的说明常常被省略,直接进入一个意想不到的结局,使故事达到高潮。

2.了解中西文化的异同点。

掌握不同的修辞手法。

既要了解表层意思,又要领会深层含义。

3.掌握幽默的重要载体——双关语、绕口令等。
