楚门的世界英文影评篇一:英文影评My thought about TrumanAll the people can know about Truman, such as his life. For 10,909 days, it has been on the air, using more than 5000 cameras to show every moment in every day of the life of him. But unfortunately, it is he that didn’t know. Around the world, everyday there were millions of people watching his life which had already been set. I thought it may be terribly sorrowful of him to accept such a truth. Thus he got mad, and nothing can hold back his heart for freedom. We know his name is Truman, which stands for truth. But his life is full of one told him that until he finally got director said, the life in the island is the truth. Truman used his action to prove it a lie, a total lie. Freedom is the thing that exceeds everything in the world, nothing can be in place of it. Of course, if he chose to live in the island, he can be original pop star, he can get many things comfortably. Yet as a bird, we choose to fly in the sky. As a man, we also need to our own sky. The movie might tell us this moral. Although Truman was born to be a man losing freedom, he was still a man. Hisoption is himself, not making fun of others. The ending of movie, audiences were touched by his perseverance, and then switch the TV channel. It’s so ironical about their behaviors. However, the society is just this look. So what we should do is to pursue our own bliss. If Truman gave up himself, the god will also abandon him. We are what we do, and we need our freedom and perseverance.篇二:楚门的世界英文观后感I am moved deeply after I have watched the Truman show. It makes me reflect on something I have never thought before.Truman was a leading role in his own world unconsciously. He lived in that peaceful world ,happy and carefree. But it was not so watery as it looks like. His life was controlled by to him was true but under arrangement. All Truman did would be completely shown on TV. People knew everything he did, such as how he was born, went to school, got a job,got married and so on. Everyone around him were all performers. Truman’s life is absolutely a vast lie. Gradually, however,he began to feel strange and caught something tried to find out the director set many difficulties,Finally, nevertheless,he overcomed them and went into the true world.Although we clearly know that it won’t happen in our true life, this film is also ’s a black ironic comedy,it criticizes that we depend on media too much in our discovery I found shocks may introspect our audience, most of people enjoyed the program, but no one would like to be the character as I treat it as entertainment knowing that it is cruel? To be honest, the answer is won’t know how thing is going on till we meet is so precious that no one want it be controlled. The story is imaginary, but the courage of Truman won’t disappear in my mind.篇三:楚门的世界英文观后感楚门的世界英文观后感楚门的世界英文>观后感(一)Unusually intelligent Jim Carrey movie - a provocative and prescient media satire. 楚门的世界观后感英文

楚门的世界观后感英文The Truman Show is a thought-provoking film that introduces us to Truman Burbank, a man unknowingly living his entire life as the star of a reality television show. Throughout the movie, Truman's world is carefully constructed and controlled, with every aspect of his life scripted and manipulated for the entertainment of the outside world. This concept of a fabricated existence raises questions about the nature of reality and the role of personal agency in one's own life. Truman, initially oblivious to the artificiality of his world, gradually begins to suspect that something is amiss. As he starts to piece together the inconsistencies and peculiarities of his surroundings, he is confronted with a choice: to continue living in ignorance or to break free from the confines of his created reality. The film’s portrayal of Truman's journey is a compelling metaphor for the human experience. It shines a light on the way society and media can influence and control individuals, encouraging us to reflect upon our own lives and the extent to which we are autonomous beings. Truman's desire to escape and seek an authentic existence resonates with our innate yearning for freedom and self-discovery.The performances in The Truman Show, particularly that of Jim Carrey as Truman, are remarkable. Carrey skillfully captures Truman's gradual descent into disillusionment and eventual determination to reclaim his autonomy. His portrayal invokes a range of emotions, from amusement and empathy to disbelief and awe, leaving the audience deeply invested in his pursuit of truth. The film’s cinematography and production design are equally impressive, with Peter Weir effectively blurring the lines between Truman's onscreen life and the reality outside the show. The use of surveillance cameras and hidden microphones adds an eerie sense of omnipresence, amplifying Truman's feelings of paranoia and entrapment.Furthermore, The Truman Show serves as a commentary on the pervasive influence of the media and the pressures of conforming to social expectations. Truman's struggle to differentiate between genuine relationships and those forged for the cameras mirrors the difficulty many face in navigating the often deceitful nature of modern society. In conclusion, The Truman Show is a captivating exploration of identity, choice, and the search for truth amidst the intricacies of our modern world. It challenges the audience to reflect on their own lives and the extent to which they are the masters of their own destiny. Through its compelling narrative, brilliant performances, and thought-provoking themes, the film leaves a lasting impression on its viewers, provoking discussions long after the credits have rolled.。
楚门的世界英文观后感

楚门的世界英文观后感Don't repeat Truman's life, be brave in the face of all, have the courage to look for, let beautiful to occupy everything, even if he had been cheated, because, the soft is to belong to our own mind, always can not cover the clouds is the sun.不要重复楚门的生活,要勇敢的面对一切,勇于寻找,让美好占据一切,即使自己被欺骗了,因为,那柔软的心灵是属于我们自己的`,乌云永远遮不住太阳。
楚门的世界(Truman show the world about it)Jim Carrey proved he could play it straight (well, at least a portion of the time) as a family man in Liar Liar, his 1997 comedy blockbuster. With The Truman Show, the elastic-faced, loose-limbed dynamo shows he can also be as serious as needed, in the title role of this imaginative tale of an electronic-age guinea pig. Screenwriter Andrew Niccol, whose directing debut, Gattaca, cautioned against the potential tyranny of genetic advances, again finds reasons for paranoia in technological progress, as an innocent named Truman Burbank becomes the unknowing, all-consuming subject of a 24-hour television network. Niccol's unconventional fable is superbly realized by director Peter Weir (Fearless, Dead Poets Society, Witness), who fashions a disorienting visual style to fit theartifice and pent-up anxiety of Truman's world.Niccol and Weir shrewdly immerse the audience in this oddly cheerful environment, without immediate explanations of what's really going on behind its sunny fa?ade. Truman lives with his wholesome wife Meryl (Laura Linney) in a picture-perfect house in the squeaky-clean island community of Seahaven, where he works for a large insurance firm. His days paby uneventfully, until a series of incidents shake him out of his complacency: A huge piece of lighting equipment falls out of the sky. A homeleman appears who looks just like Truman's dead father. Strange radio transmissions, like stage directions, come out of his car radio. For the first time, Truman begins to suspect that something is rotten in Seahaven.Nearly halfway through the film, we learn the truth: Since birth, Truman has been watched by a phalanx of hidden cameras, his every waking move transmitted to an increasingly addicted, international television audience. Seahaven is actually the world's largest studio set; the sky, the ocean, the stars and the sunsets are fakes, and the weather is controlled by outside forces. What's more, everyone Trumanencounters in his daily routine is an actor-even his wife and his best friend Marlon (Noah Emmerich) are on the payroll. This enormous charade is the handiwork of Christof (Ed Harris), a megalomaniacal conceptual artist who sees nothing wrong with the mass-appeal social experiment he's concocted. Christof has kept Truman from puncturing the boundaries of his world by staging a childhood boating accidentin which the boy's father apparently drowned; Truman has been deathly afraid of the water ever since. The other key incident in Truman's life was unplanned-a budding romantic affair with a 'college student' who tried to spill the secret of Seahaven, but was suddenly sent away to the island of Fiji (or so Truman believes).楚门的世界观后感:跟随你的心(Follow Your Heart)Honestly, I have seen few movies, no matter Chinese movies or foreign movies. Therefore, I treated movies only as entertainment before. I never thought that a movie can have profound meaning and can provoke my thoughts on my life and the world. It is always true that people hold various reviews from different perspectives. My focus on this movie is freedom. It seems that Truman is familiar with the world he lives. However, he gradually ascertains that his life is exposed on television because a kind-hearted girl Sylvia reminds him to notice his life. Ultimately, Truman overcomes the obstacles both from the “outside” and inside. The “outside” is completely co ntrolled by Christof, the creator of The Truman Show. What he does is to encumber Truman’s leaving in order to maintain his audience. As for Truman himself, he is terrified of the water and dogs. There’s no doubtthat these factors impede his escape. Truma n’s action proves a saying----“It’s by no means easy to get freedom.”Imagining a world that everything is arranged for me, what should I do? Like Truman, escape from it to pursue my own happiness, or just live the “normal” life-----in such life I’ m una ble to discern whether my love loves me whole-heartedly, and my friend is loyal to me or not. That’s the reason why freedom is extremely invaluable. Freedom bestows a variety of choices on me so that I can create my ideal life on my own instead of controlling by others. When it comes to freedom, it is connected with delight and satisfaction. The reason is quite simple: as an adult, I can make decision about selection, no matter it is marvelous or disappointing. It’s my own choice. Furthermore, freedom means little or no burden. It provides me with a chance to put what I intend to do into practice without fear offailure. Like the rainbow on the sky after several days’ heavy rain, freedom is the precious treasure one finally get through struggle. For Truman, maybe the “new” world waiting for him is not so perfect, however, he, as human being, belongs to it instead of television.Similarly, together with the movie The Shawshank Redemption, they exert inspiring impact on me. At the beginning, I think that they are accustomed to their situation. But, both of them choose a new life full of unbeknown changes. They are brave enough to challenge their limitations. Their perseverance also plays a significant role ontheir way to pursue freedom. Only this real world, blending angel with devil, can offer them reality and security.Truman’s experience attests that people must pay for their pursuit of freedom. Sometimes, obtaining freedom means that people have to give up their routine life which is hard for them to get rid of. Sometimes, gaining freedom means people have to experience tough test. If they have the capability to pass through it, they win and gain freedom. But if they fail to pass, maybe freedom will be a distant dream they can hardly achieve.Mental freedom is easier than physical freedom in my sight. In light of Truman’s saying----“You never had a camera in my head.” No one can pour his or her thoughts into my mind which I’m not interested in. I own the freedom to imagine freely, however, others have no rights to interfere. But, just imagine. That is what I consider as mentally free. Physical freedom is always a symbol of endeavoring and honing. Truman experiences heavy storm that ordinary people can’t bear, cheat and privacy exposal. At last, he reachesthe path leading to freedom, hence, I understand the truth----Don’t count on imagination only, sometimes it turns out to be mirage. What I need to do is to spare no effort to turn my dream into reality. It is Truman himself who impedes his way to acquire freedom. Meanwhile, it’s also himself who paves the way for freedom. There’s no denying that his choice depends on his resolution and courage. It reminds me that I myself is the final one to make decision and be responsible for my future.Christof says, “He (Truman) can leave at any time if he has more than just a vague ambition, if he was absolutely determined to discover the truth.” His words apply to freedom pursuit, not for Truman only, but also for all “true men”.People won’t cherish what they get smoothly, it’s so normalthat people forget it quickly. The beauty of freedom indwells not in the consequence, but in the process, especially the process of struggling, endeavoring and conceiving. People always bear in mind their spectacular and unusual experience and they perceive it astheir permanent possession. Youth and life should not be conservative, and people should not waste time on boggling. If people have no idea what to do for their future, just calm down and follow the voice of their heart. Hear is the source of power, inspiration, courage and so forth. Heart never lies to people. So, hearing the voice of heart, plus endeavor, one day people have the ability to obtain freedom so that their dreams will come true.。

楚门的世界英语影评篇一:楚门的世界英语影评“In case I don’t see you, good afternoon, good evening and good night!”The Truman Show describes a story in which the persons and events portrayed are fictitious. Born in a photo studio, Truman, as a protagonist in the film, is spied on all the time by thousands of needle camera tubes. Everyone in his life, including his parents, wife and friends, is a performer. Even the events happened are arranged by design. But true will come to light soon or later. After finding this hoax, he succeeded in obtaining the freedom, despite setbacks. Two words constantly swirled in my mind after appreciating, privacy and morality. Privacy, the fundamental right, however, disappears entirely. The director, as well as other performers, deprives Truman’s right of freedom. In the meantime, the phenomenon of the moral decline is also satirized in the film which is now a big problem in the society. Luckily, even in such backgrounds, Truman, without despair and surrender, is still full of hope. The world may be full of cheating, however, we never lack friends with a warm heart. And not only does Truman believe it, I do as well.篇二:楚门的世界英文观后感I feel deeply after I watch Truman show. It makes me think about our life and media Truman is a leading role in his own world unconsciously. He lives in that peaceful world out of willingness. Do the creature that others pay attention to. His own life is control by director. Life to him is real but fake.Truman’s life is completely open to the mass. People knew everything he does, such as how he was born, went to school, got a job,got married and so on. They are witness of Truman’s life .Everyone live together with him are all performers. Everything they do is in the director’s arrangement. His wife, who is claimed herself a doctor, is not a doctor at all. His father, who was died in a storm, is still alive. All performers are supposed to be cheat. Truman’s life is absolutely a vast lie. But when you know your life is rally a lie, do you have to courage to expose it? Will you choose to give up your peaceful life under control rather than to be the leading role of your show? Not everyone has the courage to go out. May be you will say: “It is easy to go out.” But we can’t understand, predict and control the outside world, can you?Sometimes I wonder if I also live in that fake world. Am I the real leading role of my Truman Show? I don’t know. If I live in this situation, I will be angry and want to escape from this huge prison. I will feel disrespect and boring because in my mind no one has the right to arrange my life. No one can control it including me. My life is supposed to be an adventure. Nobody knows what is going to happen. If it is like a soap opera as Trumann’s, it will be meaningless. Nobody wants to be a victim of media. But I have to admit, media is powerful, we can’t live without it and we have to suffer from it, especially stars.Nowadays media is full of our daily life. We surf the internet to look up news whenever we want. We like to watch movies, news, soap operas, talk shows or other television programs in our leisure time. Surfing the internet to know anything we want to know. We always talk with our classmates about everything happened around us, such as new movies on show, new songs, the scandal about starts and so on. Public figures seems don’t have the right to keep privacy. They are beneficiaries of media, but also victims. What can we do to avoid us suffer from media, or to avoid being violated and misleading? I think we should not rely on media everywhere and anytime. Sometimes we should have our own judgments rather than follow those so called experts. We had better more focus on our daily life not the famous person’s. We had better not spending to much time on watching TV and try to do something meaningful by watching TV. We should make full use of media rather than rely on it.篇三:《楚门的世界》英文影评My thought about TrumanAll the people can know about Truman, such as his life. But his life is full of falsehood. No one told him that until he finally got it.The director said, the life in the island is the truth. His option is himself, not making fun of others. The ending of movie, audiences were touched by his perseverance, and then switch the TV channel. It’s so ironical about their behaviors. However, the society is just this look. So what we should do is to pursue our own bliss. If Truman gave up himself, the god will also abandon him. We are what we do, and we need our freedom and perseverance.。

Truman was a man, ordinary, like the life around us. He has many desires, and very easy to meet. Therefore, he sometimes ecstatic, sometimes Rusangkaobi, most of the time the loss depressed, overwhelmed. At this time, there has been a director of genius useless, and he constantly create new stimuli, so that he bees ups and downs in the long drama, appetizing. Truman happy he would give him time to create some trouble, when in its depressed, then seize the opportunity to open it alive. He made such romantic novels as blonde suddenly appeared in the sight of Truman, his erotic valve open, letting her sudden departure, so the mind fall into a bottomless abyss; he had never met before to Truman "late father" suddenly appeared, to recognize exaggerated ic scenes make it in your eyes, but also make the TV viewing audience tears; he brought Truman's close friends in their emotional bad time to care for him, enlighten He, so that it felt the "Oasis in the Desert" and rebirth ofconfidence, although the friend is an actor, and is carrying a large segment of lines ……Who admire the film brilliant and arrogant genius director, he leads people to think of God, also saw the weak, tired, helpless and confusion Truman was the hypocrisy of the play again, or for life and the future with optimism when the waves in my heart to sorrow and grief, I could not bear to face - can not bear to face a real "us"!"Life is like a play, movie is like life," so lamented philosopher, but the actors on the stage of life - we, is not always an act of consciousness has it? Or deception and the arrangement of God, selflessly doing meaningless things? Happy, do notEnough to make us love this world; setbacks, not enough to make us abandon this world. God is like the genius as a director, holds a very good degree, he knew that when a blow to us, when we gave a warm fire burned, he allows us to maintain hope in pain, in hope endure pain, the pain making the story as waves, but also making the ratings, the hope is to train and gave us the appearance fees, so we are not so half-way stop play. The end of the movie, Truman is awake, and he told the camera, really the "God" strike played out. Panic talenteddirector, he will lose the audience, he strove to retain Truman, the director told him to leave the control of the world is very dangerous, but Truman was out of that door, walks over to the dark unknown world, he said that the world waiting for him no matter what, he did not care. Buddhism, the "epiphany" one said, and that a plete self-sufficiency of human nature is dead in the dust covering it, it lost. Truman is the insight it seems, he should get back the lost self, the self-contained plete and carefree nature."Diamond Sutra" language: "Where all the phases are all false, if seen in the phase of non-relative, then see the Tathagata." Costume sooner or later to fade, set to be removed sooner or later, when the act is performed in a lively manner, but Do not forget to watch a movie than ever addiction, feel free to let another "I" - the I, off the stage, in the audience, sipping tea, take a look at the stage of "I" and "them", a few drum Under the palm, a few drops of tears flow, understand this, that will insight a. In fact, we not taken the door across what is the relationship? Because our hearts have been cross-out. As the movie started,Trueman's life was peaceful and warm, filled with happyness,of which we may be envious.Everything went on wheels, such as the first footstep, the first time togo to school, the first kiss and the first marriage. This life should be pretty fortable, and it's just the one which most people want. However, everyone in the movie knew Trueman in detail. They watched him raised up.Outside the island ,people watched it just like a interesting movie focus on one's privacy. On the island, people acted all the roles in society, they did the same thing with sham day after day ,for instance, that twins seems like good oldies, said so much to pleasure Trueman, but they didn't really want to help him, that is,didn't want to buy any insurance. So,they were politely ,say hello to him "Good morning, good afternoon, good evening and goodnight!" His mother, wife ,even the best friend pretended to encourage and understand him.what's a pity!Where are your spirit and soul? How can a person live without freedom and ideality?Trueman found that his father still alive ,and he still love the first girl deeply in his heart. Finally,he wanted to go Fiji and left this "lucky homeland".He went to several agencies of transporting, while the ships were gone or destroyed, the airport had no ticket. Then he drove his own car,but the road was round and round. When he found one way to escape, amazingthat, the police knew him and brought him home.He realize he must do it all by himself. The faith of love and freedom gave him the brave heart to defeat the stormy sea.At the end,Christopher try to persuade him back to the island,Trueman made his choice,"In case I don't see you, good afternoon goodevening and goodnight"There may be more dangerous ,sham and cheat out of the island ,but all of this e from nature and society not from the people stared him all the day.We learn from Trueman that we should have a brave heart to pursuit the thing which in our inner heart instead of setting for the surface of our life! When I first saw 'The Truman Show' I came out of the theatre amazed. This is your first clue that you are watching something different from your normal Jim Carrey movie. I love the dialogue, camera shot, performances, direction, music, and running time of this movie. There is nothing I would do to change it.I came away from 'The Truman Show' feeling inspired which is the goal of good filmmaking Jim Carrey was outstanding as Truman, underplaying him, not making him too ic or too dramatic, but giving true sincerity when asked. He deserved an Oscar nomination. Ed Harris has always been a good actor, but in thismovie he's a great actor. He plays Christof with such arrogance and bullheadedness that you don't know whether he's helping or destroying Truman. He and the director, Peter Weir, deserved their Oscar nods.Weir, who directed the great 'Witness', uses different camera angles to make you feel like you're actually watching 'The Truman Show' and not a movie. He ends it before you get tired of the concept and helped Carrey and Harris give immaculate performances. Andrew Niol script is a real star in the movie too because of it's inventiveness and ingenuity. Overall, 'The Truman Show' is what I like to call a true American classic.。
