My Favorite Weekend Leisure Activity
Weekends are the best! No school, no homework, and plenty
of time to do whatever I want. While some kids like to sleep in
late or watch TV all day, my favorite thing to do on weekends is
go hiking with my family. I just love being outdoors, breathing in
the fresh air, and exploring nature.
Every Saturday morning, my dad wakes me up bright and
early. I don't even mind because I'm always so excited for our
hiking adventure. We pack up our backpacks with snacks, water
bottles, and any other supplies we might need, like bug spray or
rain jackets. Then we pile into the car and head off to one of the
many hiking trails near our town.
The drive itself is part of the fun. We roll down the windows
