做为六年级的学生，在四年级的时候就学过职业名称，如doctor, nurse, driver, farmer, teacher 和baseball player。
所以本节课针对学生已有的旧知识，让学生联系自己的实际生活结合起来，因而本课时的教学内容对学生来说不难理解。
关键是日常交际用语在实际生活中的准确运用，而且小学生有着爱模仿，好表现的特点，只要在教学时，通过创设情景，游戏等形式提高反复率，从而就能帮助学生准确表达。
二、教学内容人教版六年级上册Unit 5 What does he do?（第三课时）Part B Let’s learn & write and discuss三、教学方法及思路【教学方法】《新课程标准》指出：“英语课程应积极倡导自主、合作、探究的学习方式，英语课程应该是开放而有活力的。
”在这节课的设计上，我以“小组合作教学设计整体优化”为原则，设计以学生原有知识经验为基础，利用小组合作，为学生提供多样化学习资源，创设良好的自主学习环境，引导学生积极、主动参与学习，真正成为学习的主人。
本课通过情境设计Oliver 在向Wu Yifan 介绍他的家庭成员的职业为主线，利用小组讨论合作设计任务猜职业，描述职业，采访组员，趣味对话，介绍自己家庭成员等任务，让学生在小组讨论合作中完成任务，并展示学习成果。
【教学思路】利用情境教学，结合信息技术与英语学科的整合，设计了听说读写等活动，让学生以小组为单位结合情境学习，体会并运用语言。
并让学生在课前准备比较有象征性的家庭成员的职业照片，有效进行了预习，大大提高了课堂的效率和孩子们学习英语的浓厚兴趣。

2、过程与方法:学生在前面几课时已经学过关于职业的单词，本节课可以以What does he/she do ?为切入点，继续学习关于职业的单词和句型，同时，以创设情境、图文匹配、小组合作等多种方式，操练新知。
3、情感态度与价值观:引导学生了解不同职业的特点；培养学生的合作学习意识。
重点：能听、说、读、写和运用下列单词：fisherman、scientist、pilot、coach。

图片呈现四个新词，引导学生两人一组，在图片的帮助下，用What does he/she do ? He/she is a ____.操练新词。
然后每组找一对同学说出对话内容，表现好的给予奖励。
(3)Guessing game.用不同形状遮盖图片，让学生通过未遮盖的部分猜测并回答职业名称，每组选一名同学来猜，猜对给予该组奖励。
3. Practice(操练)（1）教师给出问题，让学生带着问题What does Oliver’s aunt do ? Where does she work?去听录音，找出答案。
引出Where…?句型，为下一步操练此句型结构做好铺垫。
听完以后核对答案。
（2）播放本课时的文本，引导学生听音、跟读模仿。
（3）课件呈现Ann、Tim等四人的职业信息，让学生把她们的职业和工作地点进行匹配。
在核对答案的过程中稍微强调“university、gym”的发音。
尤其university单词较长，不好发音。
ppt呈现fisherman、pilot和coach.的图片，教读发音，并用上节课句型进行操练。
如:What does he do ?He is a ……Where does he work ?He works at/in a______.学生观察单词fisherman的构词结构，告诉学生复合词的构成形式，并引导学生总结类似的单词。
