第一章:应力与应变1.That branch of scientific analysis which motions, times and forces is called mechanics and is made up of two parts, statics and dynamics.研究位移、时间和力运动乘力是科学分析法的一个分歧,被称作力学,力学由两大部分组成,静力学和动力学。

2.For example, if the force operating on a sleeve bearing becomes too high, it will squeeze out the oil film and cause metal-to-metal contact, overheating and rapid failure of the bearing.例如:如果止推轴承上的作用力过大的话,会挤出油膜,引起金属和金属之间的相互接触,轴承将过热而迅速失效。

3.Our intuitive concept of force includes such ideas as place of application, direction, and magnitude, and these are called the characteristics of a force.力的直观概念包括力的作用点、大小、方向,这些被称为力的三要素。

4.All bodies are either elastic or plastic and will be deformed if acted upon by forces. When the deformation of such bodies is small, they are frequently assumed to be rigid, i.e., incapable of deformation, in order to simplify the analysis.所有的物体既可以是弹性的也可以是塑性的,如果受到力的作用就产生变形。

3500 Installation and Operation Instructions

3500 Installation and Operation Instructions

3500Installation and OperationInstructionsThe 3500 is a high-performance digital sonar. It works only off the bottom signal and it's operation is completely automatic. There are no sensitivity or noise con-trols. All of this is made possible by the computer built inside. This unit fits in a standard 2 1/8" (54 mm) hole used by most marine equipment manufacturers.MountingThe 3500 needs at least 2 1/2" (64 mm) of space to mount on any flat panel or dash. To install the unit, also make certain there is at least 3 3/4" (95 mm) from the front of the dash to any obstruction behind the dash. Check to be sure there is room to route the power and sensor cables. The maximum usable dash thick-ness is 1 1/8" (28.5 mm). When you determine the location for the 3500, drill a 2 1/8" (54 mm) hole in the dash. Slide the 3500 through the hole from the front of the dash. Align it so that it's straight, then tighten the two screws with a phillips-head screwdriver.CAUTION!To prevent damage to the unit, DO NOT use a pneumatic/power e a hand-held screwdriver and the torque should not exceed 7 in lbs. Also, when removing the unit, do not back the screws out of the case. Damage to the faceplate will result. We recommend backing off the screws one complete turn before attempting to remove the unit. If further loosening of the screws is re-quired, do so in half-rotation increments.Place the push-button into the holes in the bezel and snap it on to the 3500.The unit is now ready for wiring.TIGHTEN THESEWIRINGConnect the wires as shown in the diagram on the next page. The 3500 operates from 10 to 15 vdc (12-volt system). Y ou can connect the wires as shown in the diagram at the top of the page using two accessory switches (not included), which switches the unit's lights on separately from the power, or you can wire the lights to the power switch as shown at the bottom of the page. (The white wire on the power cable is con-nected to the lights.) Regardless of which wiring method you use, the 3500 must be wired to a 3-amp fuse! Failure to fuse this product will void the warranty and could result in damage to the unit or your boat. The unit won't be harmed if the power wires are connected backwards, however, it won't work until they're properly connected.Find a location for the speaker that is protected from the elements, but still lets you hear it. The typical mounting location is behind the dash. Make certain to wire the speaker's wires to the same color wires on the 3500's speaker cable - red to red and black to black. If the 3500's wires won't reach the speaker, splice ordinary speaker wire to them. TRANSDUCERThe 3500 can use any Lowrance 192 kHz transducer with gray connec-tors. For the best performance, we recommend a transducer with a nar-row (8°) cone angle. See your transducer owner's manual for installation instructions.OPERATIONSince the 3500 is an automatic sonar, all you have to do is turn it's power on. It will give you a water depth reading within seconds. Once it finds the bottom, the 3500 locks onto it and automatically adjusts the sensitivity and noise suppression circuits. It will track the bottom at speeds over 70 m.p.h..Feet/MetersY ou can view the water depth in feet or meters. When the 3500 is first turned on, the depth is in feet. T o change it to meters, simply press the left arrow key. To switch back to feet, press the left arrow key again. The display shows the depth in tenths of a foot when the water depth is below 100 feet. It shows the depth in tenths of a meter below 100 meters. The letters "FT" or "M" appear at the bottom of the display, depending if the unit is in feet (FT) or meters (M).If the 3500 loses the bottom signal for any reason, it flashes the last known water depth until it reacquires the bottom signal.AlarmsThe 3500 has both a shallow alarm and a deep alarm. The shallow alarm sounds if you move into water shallower than the shallow alarm's setting. The deep alarm sounds if you move into water deeper than the deep alarm's setting. To use the shallow alarm, first press the up arrowkey. The screen shown at right appears. As you cansee, the shallow alarm is off. Quickly, press the uparrow key to increase the shallow alarm's setting. In this example, we set the shallow alarm to 10 feet.Release the up arrow key and the 3500 automati-cally switches to the deep alarm as shown below. If you want to set the deep alarm, press the up arrowkey until the desired depth appears. When it does, release the up arrow key. Wait a few seconds, andthe 3500 will erase the alarm display. The alarms are now set. If you move into water shallower than the shal-low alarm's setting or deeper than the deep alarm's setting, the appropri-ate alarm will sound. While an alarm sounds, you can adjust it's setting by pressing the up or down arrow keys.To turn an alarm off, repeat the above steps until the desired alarm ap-pears, then press the down arrow key until the word "OFF" appears.Release the down arrow key and wait until the alarm messages are cleared from the display.Note: The alarm settings are not stored in memory. If you turn the 3500off, all alarm settings are erased. Y ou will have to reenter the alarms each time it's turned on.LOWRANCE ELECTRONICSFULL ONE-YEAR WARRANTY“We", “our”, or “us” refers to LOWRANCE ELECTRONICS, INC., the manufacturer of this product. “Y ou” or “your” refers to the first person who purchases this product as a consumer item for personal, family, or household use.We warrant this product against defects or malfunctions in materials and workmanship, and against failure to conform to this product’s written specifications, all for one year (1) from the date of original purchase by you. C IM-RM Rotary Meter Installation Instruction说明书

Fiorentini Series C IM-RM Rotary MeterInstallation InstructionThis manual is only intended to trained and experienced personnel for the supply, distribution and measurement ofenergy and gas, and have sufficient technical knowledge and experience. The meters rotor C-IM-RM series are suitable for non-aggressive gases, clean and dry:Natural gas, argon, butane, ethane, nitrogen oxide and carbon dioxide, air, methane, pentane, propane. For other applications please contact FiorentiniEnvironmental conditions: mechanical class M1 Electromagnetic class E1.The permissible ambient temperature range is printed on the nameplate. The counter can be placed outdoors, but be careful not to expose it to direct sunlight.IP protection class: IP67.OPERATIONS AND CHECKS TO PERFORM:1)Check the meter for damage due to transportation and handling. The rotors should rotate freely.2)Check the flow direction, as indicated on the type plate. In case the flow direction is incorrect, the meter must bereplaced by one with correct flow direction. The C series meters are available in three flow configurations:- Single Position: Left > Right & High > Low- Single position: right > left & Low > High- Multiposition: All flow directions are possible. This configuration provides the pressure taps and the temperature measuring points on both sides of the meter. These accessories can be supplied already mounted in the correctlocations, or provided separately. For Pm and T tapping see figures on pages 3-6.3)The installation must be free of dirt, welding beads and water in the pipes. The piping on the inlet side of the metermust be clean. It is recommended to install a 100 micron filter upstream of the meter. For new installations, it isrecommended to install a wire mesh filter (250 micron) for first weeks of operation.4)The meter must be installed free of piping strain. Level the meter to within 5mm/m side-to-side and front-to-back5)The maximum torque on the bolts for aluminum flanges is BSP G1½ 100 Nm, M16 (5/8”UNC) 130 N m,M20 (3/4”UNC) 180 Nm, fasten the bolts crosswise.6)The index can be rotated for about 350 degrees. To change from horizontal to vertical rotate the index 270 degreesclock wise.7)The meter is shipped without oil in the reservoir. Fill the meter at the front side to the indicated level with the oilsupplied (see figures on pages 3-6). For a correct reading of the oil level it will take a few minutes for stabilizing.8)Pressurize the meter with care to avoid overloading. Do not exceed 5 psig/second (35 kPa/sec. - 0.35 bar/sec)maximum when pressurizing.9)Connect the electrical pulses in accordance with the connection diagrams at page 7. The connector is inconformity with IP67 if all the plugs are connected.10)Check the meter to determine there is no vibration. An indication of the meter condition can be obtained byanalyzing the pressure drop over the meter (Pm point vs. p point). It is recommended to record the pressure dropover the new meter at different flow rates. This value can be compared to future measurement.Precautions:•Never use the meter as a distance piece during welding.•The meter must be out of service and depressurized before filling or adding oil.•Before removing the meter the oil should be drained.•The meter should be transported and stored with the rotor axis in a horizontal position.•The maximum torque on the p and Pm connection is: 30 Nm.•To tighten the coupling. Use 2 wrenches to avoid rotation of the p and Pm connection thread in the body.1PlugsThe below table describe the connection usedPm Pressure reference point to beconnected to a volume conversiondevice. RECOMMENDATIONSFOR PROPER MAINTENANCE•Do…Rinse thoroughly after each use.“Thorough”rinsing can be done by running water for a few minutes and rubbing the cleaned area with a clean sponge.•Do…T owel dry after each use to prevent mineral deposits from building up on the surface of the sink.•Do…Clean the sink once a week, being sure to rub in the direction of the satin finish grain lines, using an Elkay recommended cleanser.•Do…Use an Elkay bottom grid or rinsing basket to“protect”the finish.Bottom grids and rinsing baskets can remain in the sink and will not cause rusting or pitting.•Do Not…Rub the sink across the satin finish lines.Scouring across the satin finish lines can damage the original sink finish.•Do Not…Allow soap or other household cleansers to dry on the surface of the sink. Most brands contain chemical additives which will affect the original finish.•Do Not…Use solutions of chlorine bleach and water in the sink.Chlorides, which are found in most soaps, detergents, bleaches, and cleansers, are very aggressive to stainless steel. If left on the sink too long they can cause surface pitting.•Do Not…Use a steel wool pad to clean your sink.If a more abra-sive product is needed, use a green Scotch Brite pad being sure to rub in the direction of the satin finish grain lines.Steel wool pads have a tendency to break apart and small particles of steel can become embedded in the surface of the sink. The steel particles will rust and will give the appearance that the sink itself is rusting.•Do Not…Use rubber mats or dishpans in the sink.Leaving rubber mats or dishpans in the sink can lead to surface rust or possible pitting. However,if you insist on using mats or dishpans, please remove them after each use and rinse thoroughly.•Do Not…Leave wet sponges, cloths,or cleaning pads on the sink. This can lead to surface rust.Following these recommendations for the care and cleaning of your stainless steel sink will insure that it will provide you with many years of service.CHLORIDEST oday, chlorides are found in most all soap, detergents, bleaches and cleansers;chlorides can be aggressive to stainless steel. However, chlorides are very water soluble. Therefore,THOROUGH RINSING of your sink after each use to remove any chloride residue and a weekly cleaning is all that is required to keep your sink looking bright and shiny.SCRATCHESLike many metallic surfaces, your stainless steel sink will scratch. These are merely usage scratches and over time will blend into the overall finish of your sink with proper cleaning.KNIVESY our sink is designed to serve as many things but not as a cutting board or chopping block. This type of use will lead to deep scratches in the sink finish and will dull your knives.Elkay does offer various cutting boards which will provide an additional work area. WATER QUALITYThe quality of your water can affect your sink’s appearance. If your water has a high iron content,a brown surface stain can form on the sink giving the appearance of rust.Additionally,in areas with a high concentration of minerals,or with over-softened water,a white film may develop on the sink.T o combat these problems,we suggest that the sink be towel dried after use,and again,on a weekly basis, the sink should be cleaned using a recommended cleanser. FOODSHeavy salt concentration or foods containing high levels of salt should not be allowed to dry on the sink surface.Rinse your sink thoroughly after use.Installation InstructionsELKAY2222 Camden Court Oak Brook, IL 60523© 2017 ElkayPrinted in USA(Rev B 7/17)74180616 ELKAY LIMITED LIFETIME SINK WARRANTYElkay warrants to the original purchaser of an Elkay stainless steel sink that Elkay will,at its option, replace or repair, without charge, such product if it fails due to a manufacturing defect for a lifetime of normal residential use. The posi tioning precisi on and stabil ity of the system wil l be the basi s for the stable operation of the BESIII sub-detectors.Chi nese scienti sts have re-centl y completed sequenc-ing mitochondri al genomeof the Ti betan antel ope, an endan-gered animal on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. The research was jointly carried out by scientists from the CAS Beijing Institute of Genomics (BIG), the CAS Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research,Qi nghai Universi ty and the CAS Kunming Institute of Zoology. The researchers made a detailedTibetan Antelope’s MitochondrialGenome Sequencedinvestigation of the animal ’s mito-chondrial genome and made a com-parati ve study on its mitochondri al genetic sequence with that of its low-land cousins and other mammals. The investigation shows the animal has a similar order with other mammals in its mitochondrion’s genetic code. Its genome length is 16,498bp and be-cause of tandem dupli cati ons, the control region of i ts mitochondri al genome is shorter than those of sheep and goat but l onger than those ofcommon cattle, yak and water buffalo. An analysis on its molecular phylog-eny suggests that it is more closely related to sheep and goat rather than those species of the antel ope sub-family in terms of genetic affinity. At the same time, the researchers esti-mated that the date of its divergence from the famil y of sheep or goat is about 2.25 years milli on ago.
